• Lost address book

  I installed a new hard drive for my computer windows 7. This is a new installation of windows 7. The existing drive is now F: drive on the computer. I did a fresh install of thunderbird on the new drive. I followed your instructions and copied the profile on the new drive. Local files have been transferred, but the address book and all accounts have been lost.
  Is it possible to return in particular the addressbook?
  If I run thunderbird from the old hard drive (by clicking on the name in the old folder program files), I get the same version upwards.

  Open Desktop Manager > backup/restore > advanced.

My user ID was an old defunct e-mail address and I wanted to change my ID to an existing address to avoid confusion.

  It is pretty bad software, designed by a person without knowledge of the first user interface design principles (such as the discovery).

  Tecra M9 is older model laptop so method with F8 or zero will not work.
