Lost my legal copy of windows 7 when windows 10 crashed to my computer via one of its trusted partners.

Downloaded Windows 10, many operations I performed earlier is no longer working. For example the opening of a compressed zip file. Went to windows help community and recommended one of its trusted vendors, plus expenses. Refused.

Tried several, wound up in India, they took on my computer and when I refused to buy an anti virus program (which does not need), they tried to extort $150.  Shut down my computer and I tried to get rid of windows 10.

Now Microsoft constantly interrupts me trying to force me to buy what they clear my computer.  How can I stop them?  How can I get rid of leftovers of windows 10 on my system?   Never again!

Help, please.  I'm a loyal customer of Windows since the 1990s but I feel betrayed!

Looks like you have a corrupted installation of Windows 10 as compressed files open and work perfectly here.

Have you considered to perform a new installation using your Windows 7 product key?

I can't clean the discs because I can't load any programs because the memory has faded.  So I can not put a page of my computer desktop or download programs, I need to get my images that I have on the other program running.  I can't open one of these programs because I don't have the authorization even if I was always the user and administrator.  What I would do.  Can I add more memory Ram?  Can I remove the old stuff that I can't open anyway.  DLLs etc.  I downloaded vista 2pr, but it does not work.

    Hello

Here is the information from your other question here about it:

"I can't collect any information of my system information page."  When I connect I get redirected to a page that asks me what version of vista I want to open.  One is Microsoft vista and the other is windows vista.  The Microsoft is the only one that works. The other takes me a blank page. »

"I have 2 versions of windows vista running on my computer. One is before it crashed and it took all the RAM (Ram).

I suggest that you save your data and reinstall the operating system properly.

There are several methods to reinstall Vista.

See what methos works for you.

There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:

You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:

How to change the Boot order in BIOS:

"How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and replace product manuals.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/326246

And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Ask them to the proper key sequence.

And if you do not score a manufacturer of recovery on your hard drive, you should be able to make your own recovery from her disks to reinstall the operating system.

Go to programs > name of the manufacturer of your computer > then their system or recovery tools software topics for them, depending on how it is formulated.

If you can't find any reference to it, contact the manufacturer for advice on how to make these recovery disks.

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

  • Can I install a legal copy of Windows Vista without the installation disc?

Hello, all. I have a legal license for Windows Vista key, but no installation disc. Is there a way I can install on my computer?

    Thank you.

    Hello

You can as long that the product key is not a computer that had an operating system preinstalled Vista installed on it by using this product key (Dell, HP, etc.), or has licensed OEM System Builders, you try to move from another computer.

You never tell where you got this product key of.

  • My legal copy of Windows Professional 7 does not include Windows Media Center, how do I get it?

I bought my copy of Windows 7 Professional as an upgrade to my computer Windows Vista of origin. Windows 7 was purchased through a special student discount program that Microsoft offered. How can I get Windows Media Center legally without having to 'upgrade' my copy of Windows 7 Professional (which, according to Microsoft, you should already have Windows Media Center installed)? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

I thought about it. Everything you have to do is go to control panel-> programs-> turn windows features turn on or turn off "windows media features"-> expand-> check windows media center.

    It's for Windows 7 Professional.

  • Is it possible for me to load my copy of windows vista on a second computer?

I had a computer I bought Windows Vista to computers and installed. A few months later, the computer crashed (I think that the power supply has failed and chips to the motherboard somehow, don't know what happened). I'm pretty sure that the hard drive has survived, but I don't have money to buy/build a new computer to put it in. However, I got another computer on my father, but my hard drive is not compatible with it, so I can not just hard drives. The computer that I got from my father has a virus on the hard drive and I thought just re - format, but we do not have the original copy of Windows XP that was on it. Is it possible that Microsoft won't let me use my copy of Windows Vista is already installed on my useless hard drive on the computer, I received of my father?

    -Thaddeus Grudniewski

Your copy of Vista can be used on one computer at a time.  If it is an OEM copy, it can only be used on the original computer on which it was installed.  If it's a retail copy, it can be moved to another machine but only one at a time.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • How to make a legal copy of windows xp home edtn refurbished pcs?

A friend bought a refurbished laptop, which was supposed to have the operating system preloaded on it. However after looking at me I noticed, it's loaded with windows xp pro renovated instead of windows xp home PC reconditioned computers. The proof of the license certificate of Authenticity on the bottom of the laptop is for PC Windows xp home edtn renovated. The disc that came with the laptop is the version currently installed on it. What I need is a disc to install the version on the laptop and do the work for her. How can I get the correct copy and what should I do with the bad copy?

Thanks for any help you can provide.
    JR

Try to contact PC manufacturing and request a recovery media.

Also check with their tech support to see if there is a "Recovery" partition (long shot a renovated could include replacement of the hard disk).

  • Move/copy files Windows 7 crashes

When copying, moving or undo these actions my move/copy dialog box hangs and nothing is done. I have to restart windows or the taskbar and drill to remove the end screen dialog box. This problem occurs mainly when I try to copy a large number of small files.

This issues occurs also in safe mode, so there is nothing to do with what I have installed. I also have the latest firmware updates.

I was wandering if there is a third that integrates with the windows Explorer replaces windows 7 copy and move operations.

    Thank you

The so-called found TeraCopy. It seems to be the best solution because it is free for personal use and integrates perfectly with Windows Explorer. It can not handle symbolic links correctly and I did not even try hard links, but it's better than nothing.

Much faster than Windows and, more importantly, it has higher success rates.

  • My XP recovery partition was wiped out. How to make a new copy of windows to install on my computer?

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Should I call Microsoft and ask them to send a new disk or should I download it? The guy is completely lost. Thanks for your help.

If you want to say that it is created by the PC OEM recovery partition (Dell, HP, etc.), you will need to contact them on replacement disks. You can also check online, sometimes you will see specific disk for PC on ebay or some specialized surplus places.

Know that these are just disks, you still need a CD valid for installing the software and sometimes keys are specific to the type of disc you have. A Dell installation key may not work with a CD of retail for example.

  • Windows genuine Message - this copy of Windows 7 is not legal

Despite running a perfectly legal copy of Windows 7 on my laptop for about two years, I have now a message pops up on the screen saying "this copy of Windows 7 is not legal. I know it's legal (it was on the laptop when I bought from PC World and the message appeared just). The laptop still works perfectly ok apart from this message. Any ideas on how to get rid of it (and where it come... I was a virus?...) I use Norton 360).

    Additional information:

Computers, which are built by large manufacturers provided with pre-installed Windows are supplied with 2 two product keys:

    (A) OEM SLP: this key comes pre-installed in Windows, when it comes to the factory. This key is designed to work with the special instructions isn't on the hardware of this manufacturer. Then, when Windows was installed using the OEM SLP (in factory) Windows 7 key leans on the motherboard and he sees special instructions and activates. (that's why you had no need to turn on your computer after you brought it home)

    (B) COST SLP: it's the product key that you see on the sticker on the side (or at the bottom, [or in the battery compartment]) of your computer. It is a valid product key, but must be used only in certain situations (for example, if the OEM SLP key stops automatic activation for a reason any). The key must be activated by phone. (Note: all manufacturers that use the SLP OEM system are bound by contract to include a certificate of Authenticity sticker (COA), which has a COA SLP key, on the computer)

Since you have Windows 7 preinstalled on the system, you will need to contact the manufacturer for more information about activation, because the license is provided by the OEM.

You obviously did not read far enough.
Your Windows has a MSDN license - you subscribe MSDN? -If so, phone Concierge and ask what the problem is with your account. If you have NOT subscribed to MSDN, then the person who sold you the Windows key has done illegally.
Therefore, you will need to get legal by buying a legal copy of Windows 7.
