Lost my ringtone

I use a ringtone I downloaded when I got on the phone. I have now lost-not quite sure how, either because I moved all my music on the SD card or someone who was helping me with something else inadvertently messed up - I have now moved an air of back from the SD card to internal memory, but cannot figure out how to set it as a ringtone.

When I go into settings / ring sound 5876 it comes up with 3 options:-Commander file, storage media and selector sound, and I can't see anywhere in one of these.

Can anyone help? Please?

Thank you

Open the app music/Walkman, then find the file and tap and file said wedge, and then select set as ringtone

  • Update of Smartphones from blackBerry Curve 9360 - lost all ringtones

    Hi all

yesterday I updated my BB Curve 9360 to software version 7.1 Paket 2814.

Unfortunately I lost all my standard ringtones and I have found no solution to get back them. The only way is to buy new.

Does any body know a fix for this?

    Thanks in advance

If you like everything about the new operating system but miss ringtones of your previous operating system, I suggest doing a search for "download ringtones BlackBerry OS6" (or whatever OS you had). I know that CrackBerry has always a selection of ringtones to download along with instructions to do so.

    I hope that helps you.

  • Lost my ringtons sample blackBerry smartphones

I made an update to Word Doc and I lost all my samples rigntones.  How can I get them on my "BOLD" again?

I do not understand your question?

you already had an old OS (4.2 or 4.3) with ringtones from BlackBerry.
You did the upgrade so now you have OS 4.5 (which includes a light version of Docs to go).

    ringtones are gone.

in this case, it is normal: ringtones belong to the older operating system and are not present in the 4.5 OS. You can try to find them on the internet in the form of regular ringtone files.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones MP3 Ringtone Creator reinstall problem

Installed MP3 ringtone creator, then warned of the update. Tried to install the update, received the error of App World, was not available for download. I uninstalled the app to reinstall the latest version, still cannot install and now have lost fun ringtones.  What can I do? I hope not to go to the Javatek! Thank you.

Data sheet: Sprint Curve 8330, OS 4.5.0.175, v1.1.0.2.0 App World, personal use.

The situation is resolved. The unit had to be hard rebooted at least twice since I posted the problem.  Relocation of several apps apparently solved the problem. Thank you.

After you have installed windows 10 on my laptop, I lost the ringtones I had installed on my iPhone 5 (iOS 9.2) and recorded in my book, nor can I install them again because (v.13.3.2.35) iTunes could not connect to my iPhone.

    Try the following:

    1. Open Control Panel > Device Manager
    2. Plug in your device
    3. Locate Universal Serial Bus Controllers > Apple Mobile Device USB Driver
    4. Right-click and select software update of the driver...
    5. Click Browse my computer for driver software
    6. Go to C:\Program Files\Common Apple Mobile Device Support\Drivers or
      C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers
    7. Click on let me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer
    8. Click on Apple Mobile Device USB Driver
    9. Click Next, then close and exit the Device Manager

Or try the iPhone, iPad, or iPod not recognized in iTunes for Windows - Apple Support

If not try a complete tear down and rebuild in accordance with the resolution of the problems with iTunes for Windows updates.

  • BlackBerry smartphones lost my default ringtones and alert sounds

    Question #2...

Recently, I swapped my small SD card for another.  During this process, it seems that all of my default ringtones and all sounds have disappeared.  They appear in the list of options available in the profile application, but I heard "dung dung dung" whenever I try to scroll in the list.

I have somehow lost them when I changed cards?

Is it possible to re - install?

    Thank you

    Chris

no no no, if you have ever moved the ringtones to the media card, they they are on the memory of the device, not the press card.

    I was just guessing.

    Thus, they are always there.

With the BlackBerry device powered time, remove battery for a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

    See if they work now.

  • Lost ringtones and alert message tones blackBerry smartphones

Hello.  I've just updated my Bold 9700 software to version 6.0.  In the process, I lost several tones ringtones and alert of the previous version of the software (I don't remember the version I had or the specific names of the tones).  Anyway for those back?  I used them to identify specific contacts and now I had to change each of them.  Thank you.

Yes and it is a message with a link to it. Search again on "5 rings gone BONE" or similar and you will find it. The link downloads 5 BONES set in another folder, that you can choose when assigning them to your callers and types of e-mail. The same post will tell you how to select them - something like. «All ringtones...» "Bottom of the list you select. I can post the article # later once I find that if you do not first! Good luck

  • ringtones lost?

Why can't find the ringtones purchased for my previous iphone

Where do you look for them? If you are looking to re-download them then you will have to pay re-download, they (and audio books) is the only unique downloads of the store. Don't you have them in the section of tones from your computer's iTunes library (did you drop > devices > transfer purchases to copy over your old phone), and/or on your backup in your library of downloads/so that you can synchronize with your device?

  • After the upgrade to Android 5.0 Lollipop, my personal ringtones to contact were lost.

    Dear all:

I update my Z2 Xperia to Android Lollipop two weeks ago, then I discovered that my personal ringtones of contact were waste.

(Before upgrading it works well. I put these mp3 music in my SD card).

When I check the rings defining the file and mp3 have been shown good information on the list,

but when I get the phone call Z2 still play the default ringtones.

I have reset the factory default value, but still no change and I also create a file called "ringtones" in my SD card, then put these inside music files, but still does not.

I found out when I put the music file in the internal storage space, ringtones worked.

My questions is there any way I can put my personal contact ringtones, if my music files are locate in my SD card?

    Thank you for helping.

    Uncle google is not useful...

Hello and welcome to the community!

If you do not see the ringtones pre-installed, it might be that you have selected the wrong app to choose the ringtone with.

Go to settings--> Apps--> [menu]-> preferences app Reset and then go to settings-> Sound & notification-> phone ringtone and select the "sound selector" app and see if that helps.

  • Updated Smartphones download 9800 blackBerry 6 OS and lost ringtones

When a call arrives, we hear views on screen but no dial tone.  Went to "change sounds and Alerts", "phone ringing" and it is just same screen.  To restore any help would be greatly appreciated!

Is your profile to Normal or silence?

Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most defects and errors of operating system, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

Now test your incoming calls again.
