  How update you, via iTunes on the computer or directly on the iPad? If via iTunes on the computer you copied their course to the iTunes library (file > devices > transfer purchases must have copied them so well that they are not shopping and if you use a Mac with iBooks on then do file > move the books inside iTunes) before you start the update?

  If you don't have a copy on your computer so that you can synchronize their return, you will need to re-download them where you from.

  iPhone 5 (or more), recently installed iOS 9.2.1 and a lot of my contacts disappeared from my phone.  I sync with my Outlook.  Contacts are still in Outlook, but do not repopulate when I synced this morning.  Contacts are chosen as "Exchange" on my phone, which is correct and the location of my Outlook contacts.

  Health data is backed up when you back up to iCloud or if you make an encrypted upward using iTunes.

  You can also export your data to a file that you can open with something like numbers or Excel. Tap on 'Health data' at the bottom of the health Tap "All" app Tap the share icon in the upper right.

  CONTACTS is a FUNCTION of BASIC PHONE and if Apple can't solve what I'm going to go back to Android.

  I have exactly the same problem, and it lasts for a few months.  Tried iCloud on and out parameters, and it does not seem to make a difference. The names just disappear and I find myself with just the phone numbers in my call list and contact is no longer listed in Contacts.  The list of calls sometimes everything in numbers. sometimes just a few touches.  Yesterday, a new problem surfaced: II creates a new contact for the zillionth time (for the same person) and when I looked at my list of calls later, another contact with the same name has been ranked instead - the phone number had merged with another contact with the same first name!  This CONTACT experience is so bizarre and extremely frustrating!  What is a phone without integrity CONTACT?

  The phone sometimes freezes during a call, but it's another question... come on Apple, he meets!
