  Also, did you really use the Windows Easy Transfer Wizard to back up your files or did you use the built in the files and Settings Transfer wizard in Windows XP? If you used the files and Settings Transfer Wizard, that won't work no.

  As much as I know battery Toshiba BT can be installed on each laptop Toshiba and license key is not necessary at all.
