I lost all the files, settings, programs, physical facilities. I think that this has happened after an automatic update on July 3. It's as if the computer resets to factory settings (almost, because my computer name is there and I downloaded Firefox).

I tried to restore, but it couldn't cancel the updates. I would like to restore to 2 July, but this date is not an options seems. Anyway, restoration did nothing.

Since there is no available for July 2 restore points. Unfortunately, you will not be able to restore the computer. However, you can try to uninstall the update manually.

If the problem occurred after installing the update, then uninstall the update should solve the problem.

Click Start, type appwiz.cpl, and then press ENTER.
In the list of items, search for updates or programs and the date on which they were installed, and then remove it. Follow the steps in the article to remove the SP2 update successfully: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/948537
Restart the computer for changes to take effect.

    If you have lost data because you leave your obsolete data plan, so I'm afraid that you have lost it unless you have a backup somewhere.

    How to get Vista recovery Media or the Vista recovery Partition on your computer back to factory settings.

    There is no Vista free download legal available.

    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.

    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.

    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...

    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.

    Also ask them if it is possible to do the recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.

    They will tell you how to do this.

    Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.

    Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

    Without the help of Adobe I tried to use the AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool.

    In the user guide for AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool Adobe says contact us if there are errors in the log after you run this tool and guess what there are errors in the log file, but there is no way to contact the Support from Adobe and to get this other file for them. I've been a customer of creative cloud for months, and use that I got from her was ridiculously low all this lack of reliability. I really miss the days you installed only once a year and maybe fix something and then you were set for a year of cruise with your Adobe products. I am very disappointed, and unless Adobe can help I'll leave Adobe forever because there is no excuse to sell something that does not work and do not provide support at the same time.     Please see recommended settings of WiFi routers and access Apple points.

    Despite these recommendations, some routers will work better with the latest Mac models if you turn the radio 2.4 GHz mode in settings and only use the 5 GHz. Note, however, that very old devices Apple and some third-party devices can then not connect at all.

    Some third party routers have advanced that you may need to change the settings:

    The encryption algorithm must be AES.

    The group key interval must be 3200.

    I can't give you specific instructions on how to change these settings, because all routers are different. Refer to the documentation for the provider.

    You're on Firefox 3.6.24 and if you ask if the new version 8.0.1 will do the same the answer would be Yes and it continues to be controlled by tools > Options > general > when Firefox starts: show my windows and tabs from last time.

    From Mozilla Firefox 4 (earlier this year), has presented app-tabs that you might want to listen to the video and read when standing up. Since you're using the same tabs they are probably in the same order, day after day after day, so just see the favicons on tabs and the model about whether something will not like order or missing.

    Since you use the tabs and windows as in earlier versions, the change will affect you probably even the least. But Mozilla has improved this which exists of sessions were closed, the windows and tabs via the menu ('Alt + H') history.

    What you probably will not tolerate changes to toolbars, based on studies of imperfect ergonomics (like Microsoft). You can fix it right and make the toolbars close to what you had before (instructions below).

    I'm a Toshiba laptop user as I remember, and I use them at least 8 hours per working day. I've always been faithful to Toshiba because I have always considered that, for work, I needed a brand that would give me the right support and guarantees continuity and reliability. Only so far!

    Well well... from my Satalite P200-10 s DVD player stopped working 11 days after the end of the warranty period. She always had some problems reading discs, but as it was always temporary I just let go and never bothered to send to the difficulty. Now Toshiba repair DEP. say that as it is out of warranty and they want 654.00eur remedy! I could buy a new computer with this value.

    Anyone has a suggestion to try to solve this problem. Is there any type of a guarantee of "good will" that could be activated?

    I have a nasty problem and I absolutely had no idea on how to solve this problem.

    A couple of days, I installed my new router WRT320N in combination with 50mbit Ziggo speed (internet provider from netherland)

    On the first day speedtest.net always give mbit 47/48 down and 5 Mbps up.

    But after a few days, the router maintains a fall and a fall and abandonment until the subject of 2 Mbps.

    Now, I have reset the router and also restarted the modem for the new software etc but still nothing works.

    Ive also tried to reset the router to the parameters of Carillon and that worked... until he went down every day.

    I also took some tips from this forum that was MTU setting to 1350 manually instead of 1500 automatic and it worked... until a few days have passed and new ive got 10mbit today.

    I am naïve and in desperate need of your help!

    Change every time I pass the MTU to 1500, and then back to 1350 is the jump from speedtest.net meters up still crazy 50mbit.

    But if I let it, it will decrease again day after day.

    Ive done what you say and also disabled UpnP and I think it did the trick.

    Ive got constant speeds to 48mbit/s (50 in total) and they have not fallen so far.

    Verify speedtest.net during lunch again tomorrow and will post here if it is down again.

    I ask for some advise the issue I'm having with my z3 compact.

    I was really happy, the phone never had problems, and I always have the software updates as soon as they are available.

    Now the phone has 3 days until the end of the warranty and a few days after that update Marshmallow, the screen stopped responding to touch, I couldn't turn off the phone or made a backup because the phone is locked.

    I was able to turn the phone off using the power button / stop and continuous volume upward, but after it restarted the problem with the screen.

    I decided to do the repair of software with sony's Companion (losing all my data), but even if the problem was not resolved.

    And had upward the retailer was bought the phone's NEW in New Zealand sold the company and the new owner doesn't care... sony told New Zealand that they can not do something, because it was in a parallel importer boght... but if the 1 year warranty is international they should not be able to help me?

    It could be a hardware problem unrelated to the updates then, and unfortunately we cannot help you here as users with maintenance problems. You will need to visit an authorized repair shop and get your phone diagnosed by a professional.

    Could be hardware or even heat and ventilation the related. Try using a small fan to increase ventilation. When a PC
    Remove ALL power and reinstall the memory, all cards and cables (do just not shake - remove and replace-)
