  I am working on a Dell laptop. I spent all day yesterday lighting my digital manual on Acrobat Reader. Today, I opened the copy and only three of the segments highlight were present. Is there anyway that I can get my job back? I really need to sketch out the chapters that I read.

  For those newly reading this thread.

  (1) the original problem reported was the result a GIF malformed from a buggy of Corel Draw version. Update the image within the Muse decoder is sensitive to this type of Malformed GIF and accidents. We have fixed that for a future update of Muse. In the future this type of Malformed GIF is rejected by the Muse. I removed the GIF in the dsignsd file using development tools internal and returned the repaired file.

  (2) the 3125 error is completely different. 3125 error may occur during the launch after a crash due to the OS, without having released locks on files that have been opened at the previous session of the Muse. If a 3125, raise a second time works, because locks are cleared by then and data recovery has been scrapped. We are working on changes to bypass this variable behavior of the operating system to avoid future 3125 errors.

• My windows xp using Firefox worked fine using 49.0 but not now. I tried to find some 43.0.1 to recharge but couldn't find it. 50.0 does not work on my computer. Help.

  I deleted Firefox to reload the new version. So I don't have Firefox now. Everything has worked out well until the new version of 50.0. I read that I have to reload the updated with 43.0.   Philipp, I thought about it. I now 43 back version on my computer to . As a summary, I work with an old windows 95 unit which has been improved over the years to Windows XP. When Bill decided to 'kill the old guy', I kept making the work of the mine. I paid 2K for this shit and you won't do it again. So when XP was unusable, I came for Firefox (THANKS!). I was not abe to get on the internet or by e-mail. So when I got Firefox lost work then because of the 50.0 implementation, I was dead in the water. After get involved, seeing what happened, I was able to get on 1.8... Then I had Internet! From there, after having tried several attempts to join the revised versions, I jused google: 43.0 Firefox version. AND darn it worked. Thank you for your support. Jim

• I can't trust iCloud for backup?

  My wife and I have several Macs and iPad backup iCloud. Today we have connected and the documents of our Pages are gone — not a few documents, but precious and many lost work. Lost? I've seen other posts related to Pages and sheets of deleted documents and unrecoverable IOS after the most recent upgrade. I visited iCloud.com and searched recoverable documents in the 'Advanced' section to see if the papers were there - they were not. I checked to see if iCloud in 'Settings' with all our devices - it is. Apple said at the time that we shouldn't count on iCloud for backup, because they cannot ensure our documents stored cloud will survive our specific to the device updates? Seriously? So I should relegate all iCloud to toy status devices because they are not reliable for work? Why our unit upgrades would replace somehow data that was stored "safely" remotely? Wasn't that the point of iCloud 'trust' in the first place. Can anyone talk me down off that ledge I'm about to throw my (many) features of work Apple out of? Thank you.

  Apple do not back up user iCloud storage and does not announce that iCloud is a backup service. It is a place of convenience for document sharing between Apple devices only. You alone are responsible for the backup of your files, and which is carried out with an external drive properly size Time machine and, possibly, yet another external drive that you clone your boot drive too.

  Time Machine backs up your documents in iCloud drive (if they were changed) with each hourly backup run. The condition is that the Mac must be signed in the iCloud and iCloud drive active. In addition, selected items in the category of Options iCloud drive will get photographed by Time Machine.

• Auto-restart after update

  I just lost work hours with this maddening feature. Update downloaded in the background Windows and then a window opens asking me to reboot now or postpone it for 10 minutes. I postponed but something popped up and then when I returned to my computer it has restarted and all my work was lost. Surely, you will have to click a button to confirm before it restarts. How can I stop this never happens again?

  Click Start > right click on computer > properties > Windows updates down the lower left corner > then click on change settings at the top left it there

  > Change update settings in the next page of AutoUpdate to "check for updates but let me choose etc" > OK ".

• BlackBerry Smartphones lose hundreds of entries in the AutoText

  I am curious and angry, when I installed the latest update of BlackBerry OS 6 on my lamp, I lost hours of work I had put in entering in the composition of the shortcuts in AutoText. Can my hard work and wonderful shortcuts, be found?  Anyone know the answer?  Is there a solution?

  On a Mac OS 10.6.7, I couldn't find no *.ipd on the disk or .ipd file hard or in the Documents folder. Realize that to upgrade to the latest Blackberry OS 6, two or three weeks ago, I had to leave in the handheld itself because BlackBerry App World is not compatible with the Mac OS 10. Being new to this sort of thing, I have not run a backup on my Mac (Yes, the BlackBerry Desktop Software backup and restore works perfectly on my Mac) before the upgrade.  However, I found a text file automatically with 491 files in restore from a backup made on March 6, which represent the major part of my job (I codify often used long words using just 2-3-4 letters, for example the udg to understand, udb for understandable, unlike CFL, dft for different, etc..).  I restored it as a restore selected, as you suggest.  Now, I once again my lost work.  Hallelujah!

• How to import a DV camcorder - what codec?

  I want to archive my mini-DV camcorder tapes by capturing their video with first Elements 3.0 (I have a newer version, but don't have 3.0 on my XP machine having a port firewire i / f).

  I managed to capture a single band and I see a series of AVI files (as expected).  I have two questions:

  Is it possible / preferable to capture video in dv format only (with no recognition of the jumps of timestamp and no wrappers)?

  Y at - it any loss in .avi compared to tape files (i.e. different codec is / are there other options)?

  I don't remember not the E3. but there may be a setting that says you can deactivate scene detection.

  If its better depends on your workflow. I would not only a single file. Lost work to cut out the bad pieces.

  None of the wrappers? AVI is a container of wrapper / there is no other choice.

  Band to computer transfer is alone. No loss. AVI is the best solution.

• Update of Desktop App Install fails 1002

  Hi all

  I followed all the advice on the forum and help of the CC... uninstalled and reinstalled, used CC Cleaner full lot... but still no joy in the update of CC Desktop App and I don't have access to any of my software all day. (full day of lost work)

  Any advice on getting CC to work again without having to rebuild my macpro (OSX 10.10.5)?

• I reinstalled Adobe Illustrator draw and now my plans are all gone?

  I reinstalled Adobe Illustrator draw because it was lagging and would sometimes freeze after the last update. I went back in and realized all my projects are gone? Is it possible to get it back? I didn't delete or something. I was able to recover some of the plans to return by logging in using my other devices, but they were projects that were a few weeks/days ago. (Version 2.1.86)

  I'm sorry for your lost work. Looks like your updates of the project had not had the possibility to synchronize with creative cloud and when you uninstalled the application, local changes that were made to your drawings disappeared from the app. I always recommend before uninstall (or force - quit smoking) to connect you with your Adobe Adobe Creative Cloud (My Active - Mobile Creations - draw) ID to ensure that your work synchronized to creative cloud.

  Help, please!  I have noticed that a lot of conversation on this topic in 2014 but nothing since.  We regularly receive the prompt of the corrupted file when opening a project "the project cannot be loaded, it may be damaged or contain obsolete items". 

  We have regularly faced this problem when working in 2015 CC first Yosemite 9.1.0, running on a 2011 13 "Macbook Pro.

  Backup is automatically set at intervals of 20 minutes, but all save automatically for the last 2 hours is also corrupt.

  I tried the method of import sequences of media browser, but nothing fills in the browser window of media on the corrupted original project file or the backup automatically corrupted.

  I went as far as a reinstallation of everything Adobe. Nothing.

  I also tried the digital rebellion, but that did not help either.

  So basically I've tried everything I've seen in other threads... Please tell me if I'm missing something.

  Thanks John - I tried to do that but also see if the ADB project will even appear in the media browser.  Nothing helps.

  Even if we cannot find a way to recover lost work hours, I need to find the solution to prevent this once again, as has happened several times on the new version of CC 2015.

  I never had some project files corrupted in the first, out of all the years using the program.  Now, a quick succession of files corrupt on the sam project, on a particular machine, tells me there is a specific problem that needs fixing.
