Low graphics card Profile for HP Compaq PRO 6300 Small Form Factor

I need to buy a PC for a CAD workstation, I want a dedicated graphics card and understand that the 6300's are limited due to food being only 240 watts.

I want a graphics card dedicated good to deal with this power supply.  I heard that the AMD Radeon HD 6450 will work with these are the best cards?

I don't want a graphcis which are to two screens such as the Nvidia NVS 300.

Thank you

Mike

You are the very welcome, Mike.

Yes, you had to use one physical CPU selection, not based on how many carrots he has.

I don't buy that of CMT / MT for the reason of low power PS in the SFF.

Even those who 325W P/S

However, it gives me more of a variety of choice at the hardware level - and I don't have to make sure that the parts come with profile low supports.

In any case, I think that the 610GT will work very well to the SFF 6300.

Best regards

Paul

  • nVIDIA GeForce Fx 5500 256 MB AGP Graphics Card Drivers for Windows 8 Pro 32-Bit

Hi!, I have motherboard ECS P4M800Pro M2 Ver2.0, 2.2 GHz E4500 processor Intel Core2DUO, DDR2 533 MHz 2 GB RAM hardware with WINDOWS 8 32 Bit operating system. The motherboard has 64 MB S3 UniChrome Pro IGP.

Further to have better graphics during the game, I bought recently NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500 256 MB AGP 8 x video card. Since I installed this card, windows has installed its driver game by default "Microsoft generic display drivers" and the quality of the graphics is off nominal. Also the 1366 x 768 resolution widescreen is currently not available. The best resolution I have now is 1024 x 768. In this resolution, the graphics of Windows seems very strange on my LG 19 "widescreen monitor.

I tried to install the graphics card drivers on the NVidia site for the old version of Windows, but the drivers are installed with an error message "Pilot" not Compatible with this Version of Windows.

By default windows drivers has release date older than the drivers supplied on OEM for Windows XP.

Please help me to get the drivers for the AGP card compatible with my Windows 8 Pro.

Or how can I force install the older drivers in Windows 8.

    Hi Amit,

Windows 8 compatibility reports that NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500 graphic card is compatible with Windows 8. Check out the link

You can check if you have downloaded the 64 bit version of the graphics driver rather than 32-bit.  It could be the possibility for this error message.

Or select the option on the Nvidia site to scan your system to find the correct driver?

    http://www.nvidia.com/download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

If you still receive an error message that the driver is not compatible, then you try to install the driver in compatibility mode.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Program-Compatibility-Assistant-FAQ#1TC=Windows-8

If this does not help, I suggest you check with the NVIDIA support.

  • 8200 elite Small Form Factor: can I add a graphics card in my computer?

So I have a HP Compaq 8200 Elite Small Form Factor and I was wondering if you can add a dedicated graphics card. If so, what are compatible?

Video cards that will be compatible must be discreet and very low power 16 x PCIe video cards.  Low power generally assimilated to the discreet with less than 1 GB of video memory video card. Use these criteria when searching for candidate upgrade video cards.

The following video cards have been listed as optional and is compatible with your HP SFF PC desktop computer.

    graphics card nVidia Quadro NVS295 PCIe x 16, 256 MB 641462-001

    graphics card from nVidia Quadro NVS300 PCIe x 16, 512 MB 632486-001

    Graphics ATI Radeon HD6350 PCIe x 16 512 MB 637995-001

    Graphics ATI Radeon HD6450 PCIe x 16 512 MB 637996-001

    AMD over-pants 2270 PCIe x 16 graphics card, 512 MB

Upgrading the PSU to what would be needed for a video game level card is not sustainable for a Mini PC like yours.

  • HP Compaq 6300 small form: deliver the installation of an operating system for HP Compaq Small Form Factor 6300

I have a HP Compaq 6300 Small Form Factor in which I just replaced the motherboad. It works very well. I can start on a USB bootable and (1) start a Windows 8 or a clean installation of Windows 10. I can (2). boot from a USB drive capable of Linux Mint 17.3 Startup and load that OS fine. When I try the installation of any of the aforementioned OSs (Windows 8/10-Linux Mint 17) they all will get an error of memory or hard drive and the installation at the beginning of the installation to fail. I tried this on two SSD drives and two HDs standard. I am at a loss on what to try next. Any help would be great. Thank you. -Matt

  • Compaq DC5800 sff: compaq dc5800 small form factor 4 monitors

My machine is a Compaq dc 5800 small form factor. Running windows 7.

Wondered what would be the best way to get four monitors to work on this machine. Different programs of 4 separate monitors 4 on each of them, what graphics card should I buyto achieve?

I have a usb to vga thing that might work for a monitor, so this means that I need a chart of small form factor card that can work 2 or do I need one that will run 3. I read that once you install a graphics card, you can't activate the onboard graphics in the bios. I don't want to have this problem. Please help me.

    Thank you

    Here is the Manual:

    Manual

You'll need a card video low - profile pci-e x 16. Even if you buy one with 3 outputs as a vga, one dvi and one HDMI usually you can only use 2.

    http://www.TigerDirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=7717576 & SRCCODE = WEBGOOPA & scid = scplp698686 & kpid = 7717576 & gclid = Cj0KEQiAiamlBRCgj83PiYm6 - gBEiQArnojDzV29tsehaj_KoZBvaF_tPNYEd-lz4cTMeNrlTNijXoaAjPg8P8HAQ & gclsrc = aw.ds

And Yes, when you install an add-in pci-e video card, you will lose the integrated graphics card.

In order to drive the moire than 2 monitors you need a second video card, or a multiple display adapter cable. You have a pci-e available x 1 slot and there is such a thing as a video card pci-e x 1 like this:

    http://www.Matrox.com/graphics/en/products/graphics_cards/m_series/m9120pluslpx1/

    http://www.Newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=9SIA4UB1J73800

Some of these x 1 cards actually have a quad cable optionally, you can add the display.

These are not for gaming but can run extra for things monitors as having walked fellow RSS site or desktop computers more available to work.

  • HP pavilion dv6 - 6163cl graphics card driver for windows 8.1

Hello world.. !! I just upgraded from Microsoft Windows 8 Professional to Microsoft Windows 8.1 Professional, everything is fine except the display. The graphics driver is not installed after installing fresh Windows 8.1 Professional, although it worked perfectly with Windows 8 Professional. I use hp Pavilion dv6 - 6163cl Entertainment Notebook PC. Operating system is Microsoft Windows Professional 8.1 (64-bit). 6 GB of Ram and processor 2.3 Ghz. I tried to install Graphics Card Driver for Windows 7 64-bit, but it says "not a version supported." I did not go to the graphics drivers for Windows 8.1 for my PC. Help, please...

Thanks for the reply and useful links. I downloaded the correct driver from the related city, it was for windows 8, I installed it and it gives the display a more sharp than before installation, but it was not as cool and sharp as it was in Windows 8 pre-installed. The text and any other presentation does not look much sharper and stronger as it should. so waiting for a new version of the display driver Windows Pro 8.1. • Which is the best graphic card (fromNvidia) for the first and after?

    Hello, that is the question.

Which is the best graphic card (fromNvidia) for the first and after? In order to improve the performance of preview and rendering time.

It's the Gtx 970 good enough? or do I have to go to the 980ti?

Is there any other better Nvidia in both these needs?

I have these specs and I work in Full HD:

    I7 4900, 32 GB of ddr3 memory, ssd.

    Thank you in advance.

I don't know about these two maps first, but AE the GPU makes very little difference at all.

The current version of AE uses the GPU to very little. The ray-traced rendering engine is the only great thing that AE uses the GPU and this feature is now considered obsolete.

That being said, if you are using third-party plugins for AE using the GPU (as, for example), it's a different story. For the element, I heard that the 970 GTX is the best bang for your buck; the 980-up would not be worth the price difference.

  • Affordable graphics for dc 5800 sff small form factor?

My PC is dc 5800 sff small footprint with Core 2 Duo 3.0 GHz, 4 GB of RAM. Now it runs with Intel Graphic Media Accelerator 256 MB. I find it difficult to play games (like Pro Evolution Soccer 2015) in full resolution. I'm doing research on many types of video cards, but it seems impossible because of their diversity. Affordable graphics for dc 5800 sff small form factor?

I've seen a few posts on the forum that says HD 6450 1 GB HP is correct; However, I would like to make 'extra' room 1 GB for the future. And I had Msi Hd 6450 2 GB and Asus Gt 630 2 Gb(GT630-SL-2GD3-L) on the spirit, but do not know if it will market voluntarily on my PC.

Can you help me and suggestions are appreciated?

    Thank you.

    Hello:

Food's owner, which means that you can use only one.

This means that you need to customize a graphics card to work with the existing configuration.

The GT 610 or HD 6450 should work within the limits of the 240W power that has your PC.

Each card must be much better than the card integrated Intel.

  • Memory / RAM upgrade - the standard issue! -HP Compaq Pro 6300 microtour

    Hello

I intend to increase the RAM in this machine (Microtour HP Compaq Pro 6300) and I'm a bit confused to a specification - latency CASE.

    To start:
I plan to purchase memory from a manufacturer of renowned as Crucial or Corsair and purchase identical sticks to replace the OEM memory.

My understanding of the requirements of CASE latency for this system:
According to the reference guide of the material that was provided with this PC, "the DIMM DDR3-SDRAM modules must also:... to support latency CASE 11 DDR3 1600 MHz (at a date 11/11/11)."

My understanding of the CASE latency spec. offer of products available:

Many kits that I found almost total retail prices are advertised as being "CS7,' 'CS9', or 'CS10 '.  The few kits that I found with latency = announced 11 CASES are much more expensive (+ 20%) that those with CL = 7,9,10 (spend less money without wasting on inoperable RAM is my goal).

    My question (s):

I have to buy memory with a latency announced CASES of 11 cycles?
    -OR-
May memory stick with another announced specification of latency CASE (no CL = 11) function properly with my system?  If so, could it be some additional steps to configure the new installation of memory or any foreseeable to overcome obstacles?

Thank you very much for taking the time to read this and respond!
    -Mark T.

In General, purchase memory with lower CASE ribs won't be a problem, as long as the dominant spec (i.e. DDR3-12800) memory and memory voltage specifications match.

If you buy from a name brand as Crucial or Corsair, however, you should probably ask him if they have specifically tailored to your system memory. They have usually memory specifically designed for brand like HP systems, and that would be your best bet to ensure compatibility.

  • HP Compaq Pro 6300 all-in - One desktop PC Touch Panel does not

I have a new HP Compaq 6300 Pro all-in-one desktop PC. It came with Windows 7 32 bit preinstalled, but I wanted to Win 7 64 bit so I had to do a clean install and therefore lost all my drivers.

I was able to get most of the drivers I need HP driver download page for my specific model, but the touch screen under the screen no longer works. It certainly worked until I changed the operating system. To clarify, this is a sign of close contact under the screen that allows you to mute sound, change the volume or change the brightness. The control panel items are invisible until you touch it, how the options - this feature still works. They light up, but do nothing for the levels of noise or the brightness.

I don't know much about the drivers, but this seems to be a driver for me problem. Does anyone have any ideas on how I could get the touch screen works again, because it is an interesting possibility, I'd like to be able to use.

    Thanks in advance.

Hey, no one has responded to my request, but just Serendipity led me to the solution, so I'll post it here in case someone else has the same problem.

In his search for information about installing additional RAM memory, I found myself in the correct name of the touch screen, I had a problem with: capacitive controls, aka buttons capsense. Once I got the correct term was a few seconds before I got the solution, see:

HP all-in-one control panel Button for Windows Support

According to the HP support page, the little softPaq provided "patches a question wherein Capsense buttons (mute, Mic, theft and theft down) of your computer do not work after manually installing a version of Windows", reinsert the necessary registry key.

The softPaq (sp60481.exe) worked well for Windows 7 64 bit on my HP Compaq Pro 6300 all-in-one and I am very happy to have this cool touchscreen works again.
