  You try to use the Standard camera or Adobe Standard profile? The issue of Nikon D810 in LR 6/CC is with the Adobe Standard profile... it is missing after the day.1

  You should be able to use the Standard profile camera as your default develop settings or use it in a "Preset" without any problem. Only images or presets that use the Adobe Standard profile are affected and show the profile flat camera after the LR 6/CC.1 update.

  I am running Yosemite (OS 10.10.5). Trying to open 6 LR, I get two error messages. (1) an internal error has occurred.   When I tried LR 5 running on the previous system, I got the same error module changing, but cannot find anything on the Adobe site and thought that maybe the program was not compatible with the system.   You must change the permissions of the folder Adobe in two libraries.

  Browse to the location: ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe

  / Library/Application Support/Adobe

  CMD + click on the Adobe folder

  Click on Get Info

  Click the Permission & sharing

  Click on the padlock

  Unlock it

  Change the permissions of writing & for all users.

• Develop presets listed twice in the ad hoc menu

  The adhoc develop presets list in the library module contains all the entries twice without any observable sort order.

  There are 51 predefined folders in the predefined folder and the list contains 102 entries.

  First I noticed this in LR 3.0 and its still there in 3.2RC.

  Clues?

  Also, I remember seeing the Standard Adobe presets as individual files on my system. I attributed them to some play (I play a lot with the language changes, beta and RCs versions) and remove them. As far as I know, they should not be stored as .lrtemplate files anywhere, because they are internal to the program.

  If so far I'm supposed so maybe my question is simple - how can I tell Windows choose otherwise?

  And if I'm wrong, no doubt, I'm in a deep hole, what should I do?

• Utility HP always chooses the wrong printer

  I don't think it's a good idea to limit the input to the ground that one format only.

  This is going to be frustrating for users, as the validation may fail too often.

  It is better to make the entry as flexible as possible by combining several models:

  I have a Fuji X - e1 and the last update from 4.4 LR running on 10.6.8 16 GB of RAM, all operating system up-to-date software.

  The problem is that my RAW of Fuji files do not show the correct lens profile in the develop module. The only choice available to choose is for Fuji X 100 (which I have ever owned or shot). The metadata in the library module are correct for the lens and the camera and also shows correctly in Bridge.

  However, with the same software on Macbook Pro a friend - also 10.6.8 LR 4.4, etc - the lens correctly profile to research the goal of the X - e1 self-correction and 18 mm.

  I uninstalled LR on the desktop using an uninstall program called Zap, downloaded 4.4, reinstalled and still the same "error".

  Any ideas on why 1) error and 2) how to correct?

  There are a lot of profiles for Raw images but much less for JPG images.

  LR will only show profiles of lenses that apply to the file in question format. So when you have a JPG image file profiles for the first images will be not displayed in Lr and vice versa.

  If you do not correct lens profile in your list, you will need to download it.

  For this you need the Adobe Lens profile Downloader.

  And for this program, you need Adobe Air.

  Download two programs from Adobe website - they're free.

  Then, install Adobe Air first and when it is installed, install the Lens profile Downloader.

  After installation just to open, it is explicit and display all available lenses profiles once you have selected your camera and lens makes.

  Number 2 is correct.  Lightroom never touches your original file. You can go back to the Raw file without any preset applued by choosing Reset in the develop Module.  In history, the application of the screening to import is the first step, however.  Can´t you go before this step in history.

  I have a few lenses that are available on the LR5.7 but I can't choose them if I shoot digital - RAW.

  Let me explain, I shoot film and digital with a goal. On the LR I can apply the profile to the RAW digital file but not for the "digital scan film" file (JPG).

  If I digital RAW, I can choose the purpose of lens Corrections.

  Unfortunately, there is no way to apply profiles to target on jpeg files as they were designed only for raw.

• Lightroom does not apply lens profile automatically

  I use Lightroom CC based on MacOS.

  Unfortunately, Lightroom does not apply the profile of my SIGMA 150-600 mm F5-6. 3 DG OS HSM p014 in development mode, but shows the lens correctly in library mode. • Not intentional develop Preset applied when importing - Lightroom CC (2015)

  This week (April 25, 2015), I upgraded to LRCC (2015) 8.1 for Windows and Mac OSX Yosemite and today I imported 400 + RAW images, felled at a concert of music from last night in my Windows box. I do not use import Presets, preferring to the hand-to indicate the my options at the time of importation.

  Today, I chose my usual Preset to develop... 'Profile goal, by default, that does what it says on the Tin - apply the default lens profile import. There nothing else... or so I thought.

  After that importation, I noticed that images looked a bit "weird" and I checked the story... the default lens profile has shown in history (except an entry "Of Metadata" that I had not seen before, but suppose a reference using the keywords applied when importing). The 'strangeness' was in fact caused by one another develop preset called "Cave in rock" (a custom preset, I designed myself) and, if by chance or not, was be the first Preset in my list. Checking the settings to develop on the right panels, confirmed all the 400 + images had been imported with the cave in the rock applied.

  I checked the history of a random selection of 12 images; all showed the parameters of development, such as applied, but none showed the name preset in the history panel. My custom "cave in rock" this DOES have the preset 'Goal profile, default' included in it, but maybe it's a coincidence.

  I import RAW of Canon CR2 to a 5 d Mk III files, convert to DNG and build 1:1 previews. Adobe has changed the import process in LRCC.

  the metadata entry I think that means that he support parameters of a metadata xmp file that is next to your raw files. There are everything in the folder you are importing from? If you shot raw + JPEG, the instructions may be in the JPEG file.

  Define the default settings from LR to use automatic or default lens profile area and LR should match the right lens with the right profile.

  You don't want to specify a specific objective in the default values of LR, because default values are by camera, no camera-lens-combo.

  If you have a specific objective which is not automatically get selected (that's what happens with I use a focal length multiplier), then you will need to manually set by filtering by the lens in the library, and by applying a preset that sets the profile of lens to something specific with your own custom settings, or at least that's what I do.
