  I use LR5.7 on Windows 10 on Thinkpad W510 with laptop screen wide Gamut. After upgrade to Win 10 and with dispcal/argyll color calibration, I noticed a greenish and rose, mainly in whites (maybe just obvious). When I export to jpg format and open in a viewer of color run like XnView, I don't see the rose. If I open again the jpg with settings reset in LR, the rose is back. He appears as a display problem in LR. Meanwhile, I updated the driver of NVIDIA Quadro FX 880 M graphics card and tried to change the color profiles and several reboots, without effect. Any help would be widely recognized.

  Clearly a problem with the display color profile. You should get a real calibrator and calibrate your screen with it. The stuff of argyll has many options and can create very good profiles but also many places where it can go wrong - especially if you have a wide screen range. You're better off using a spyder or alternative material calibration color with its native software. Make sure that the calibrator can calibrate the screens with display technology you are using. Much older can correctly calibrating screens wide gamut with LED backlight.

  I have recently upgraded to windows 10 and records began to disappear from the LR5.7 catalog in large quantities.  When I tried to re - one of the records import LR added the photos as if they had never been imported...  All data of the edition has also disappeared.  None of the files have been moved in Windows or LR. Has anyone seen this situation before LR5 & Win 10?

  Looks like you open an older LR catalog, perhaps a backup catalog file. This would explain the 'leak' records when you work in LR, because they never were in the oldest catalogue. Who is?

  Use Windows Explorer to search the drive for .lrcat and see if you can find a more recent catalog file.

  All the rumors that are out there are only rumors. Adobe makes no announcement beforehand. Lightroom certainly has a different workflow. There is usually a change in your workflow. I don't know what you are looking for because I've never used opening.

  In recent weeks I have problems with the import LR5.6 window unable to see all the files of importation on removable card, camera, local drive or network drive. If I drag and drop files from Explorer to lightroom opens the import dialog box, but the screen import empty

  License CC 64-bit of Windows 8.

  Problems arose initially after update through CC, but I have since tried

  1. new catalog

  2 reinstall 5.6

  3. Uninstall and go back to 5.4

  All this same problem - now reinstalled 5.6 without success and do not think it was a problem to update.

  I'm not aware of any LR option that limits the types of files in the import dialog box

  I'm not aware of other changes I made which changes file etc. - associations there was some automatic updates of windows.

  There is no problem viewing / opening files with Explorer windows or photoshop etc and all of the images currently in my catalog are thin and editable in LR - it's just the import dialog which is empty

  It does not help with workflow!

  Any ideas would be great

  As in the article below, you need to update your Lightroom to the latest version and in your case, you have already done this.

  Did you update to 8.1 Win? If this is not the case, install the update 8.1 Win and try the same.

  Make sure you only select between upgrade/Full and Mac/Win.

• Lr5.6 does not work

  5.6 Lightroom on my Win 7 PC does not start when I click the icon, or start from the .exe file. No error message is produced. Nothing happens. Other programs CC, bridge and PS CC will work perfectly. It is listed on my installed applications and up to date. In my view, that the problem came when I updated to 5.5 5.6.

  When I discovered this I used the help. First of all, I uninstalled Lr5 in the normal way. I then re-installed through the CC form. After installation, it still does not. There is a help document that answers that. I think I did right the first three solutions. It seems that 4 Solution requires that you uninstall all applications of CC. I hesitate to do so.

  Has anyone else had similar problems? If so, what do you have to remedy? It seems that I am under the latest version of the software CC.

  The solution that worked for me was to erase the record of SLCache of its content, leaving the record intact.   This is Solution 4 on this help page for Adobe:

• Image will not switch from Lr5.5 to Photoshop CC (not CC 2014)

  There is much discussion about the images not opening not in Ps CC2014 ceremony off the coast of Lr5.5.  I thought that I would point out that the same problem arose for me trying to convey an image of Lr5.5 to CC Ps.  I should point out that I had installed cc2014 and decided to uninstall, as several panels like currently will not work in CC2014.

  I guess the gace for me will be Ps cc to uninstall and reinstall, as seems to be the solution recommended for users of CC2014.

  FWIW, I have a Win 7 64 bit computer.
