LYNC 2013 to replace the PBX

Hello, I need to know a few things about MS Lync 2013 before deciding to implement in our Organization. I'm looking for the solution of IP telephony. I currently have a Panasonic PBX. I can implement LYNC 2013 to replace the PBX. If so, how can I connect external telephone lines? How to receive calls on the company's phone numbers? How can I call a customer since the company's telephone lines? and how to handle it all?

Thank you

One step could be to say to your customers to complain to the 'provider' they always change

they should not be able to support a standard way of h.264...

We tried at least with the customer of 2013 and which works with the advanced media gateway.

  • View of the Horizon from VMware and Microsoft Lync 2013

    Hello

I am currently working on a VMware View Horizon project and the cap of the great exhibition is Microsoft Lync 2013. I had the matching between the vdi Lync plugin and the Lync client in the virtual office to work. During the process of matching the right icon indicates the attempt of local loading audio or video devices. When I connect a USB headset it detects and when I perform a test call, I hear only noise and not a good tone. Can I use only Lync support audio or video devices or it can be any USB device? I also mentioned the details of the current configuration of VMware View Horizon.

  • Problems with folder permissions after replacing the hard drive

    Hello

Recently, I replaced the hard drive on my mac.  Already before the replacement, I got the files that I had locked.  Now I'm unable to open the file.  I get the error "the folder 'nom_de_dossier' can not be opened because you don't have permission to see its content".  I looked at the permissions for the folder and everything he says is fetch.  I ran a command in the Terminal and for one of the records in question, that's what I see-

    drwxr-x - 13 501 501 442 5 July 2013 MG

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Running OS X El Capitan

    10.11.4 version

    Try this first:

Start the mac all holding the SHIFT key, it is slow, connection, and then select Restart from the Apple menu.

    When this does not help:

Reset password utility in the recovery Partition:

    1. Restart your computer from the recovery partition.
    2. Open disk utility and run a repair permissions on your boot volume (in ElCapitan click the first aid tab). Once this completed, close disk utility. We do this for good measure.
    3. Open a Terminal from the Utilities menu. Type in resetpassword and select your user (NOT administrator system/root) account in the menu drop-down.
    4. Click on the Reset button at the bottom of the window ACL section and Reset the folder permissions.
    5. Exit the utility password and return to the main recovery menu.
    6. On your keyboard, press + Q and restart your computer. It is very important that you don't hold down the power button to exit the recovery session, or the ACL Reset to occur.
  • Want to 800-060: reactivation after replacing the motherboard

I bought a HP Envy 800-060 with Windows 8 pre - install Amazon in July of 2013. It was an incredible computer since that time, and when the free update of Windows 8 for Windows 10, I did immediately released. Recently, however, the motherboard has failed on the computer. It would not stay same POSITION, and after much troubleshooting, I finally decided to replace the motherboard. Now that the computer is running again, I guess that the motherboard change was sufficient for the operating system to think that it is no longer enabled. I was never provided with a key of Activation of OS (Win8 has been pre-installed), and Microsoft has suggested that I contact HP to find the original key. I've looked everywhere on the chassis and inside the tower for a valid Windows activation key, nothing helps. I tried to find a phone number to call for support, but my product is outside the guarantee. I don't need advice or troubleshooting tips (so I don't pay the $59.99), all I need is my activation key valid Windows based on my serial number of the product. Anyone know the best way to achieve HP with this problem and have it is resolved?

    Thanks in advance!

The unfortunate, is that your original product key has been incorporated in the firmware original by HP motherboard UEFI when the PC was built.  There is no way to recover this key now.

HP retains no record of keys to individualized product corresponding to individual computers, so they won't be able to provide you with the original key - and they are under no obligation to provide you with a SECOND key, that you didn't do the replacement of HP hardware.

With the product now being out of warranty, it's really call HP or not you upload support - and the experience I have had with older equipment-, they do that, there's just no way around IDs.

HP customer support is really the only way you have to get support.  If they don't help you for free, because your PC is out of warranty, there is nothing we can do about it on this forum.

  • Replacing the screen satellite U840-10V

    Hi guys,.

My Satellite U840-10V hinge on the right side screen broke when I accidentally dropped the laptop. This happened almost 2 years ago and today he is out, which separates it from the window of the screen. I had this problem temporarily to a nearby repair shop and was advised to contact toshiba to replace the head of screen. my warranty expired in 2013 and I did not apply to it.

Can someone advise the best course of action to replace the screen? I live in ealing, London and am able to go to a provider of services close to who would be able to replace it. I like really this laptop and I would like to replace the screen as soon as possible instead of dishing out money on another new laptop.

    Kind regards

  • Replace the iTunes from Mac to another folder and make it synchronize with the iPhone?

I copied the iTunes folder full of an iMac of El Capitan 2013 a 2015 running iMac running a little newer version of El Capitan. I want to replace the iTunes folder on the new Mac with my backup and everything on the new Mac to work as it did on the old, well that the old iMac and a new have different names, I do not know if what counts.

    1. my entire library of music appear and be available after replacing the files?

    2. home sharing with all my devices work after replacing the files?

    3. what happens with my iPhone and iPad that already synced with my old iMac? Will they continue to synchronize on the new iMac, as I replaced the entire folder?

    4. are there any other questions or things that I need to address with what I do?

    Thank you!

    1 Yes

    2. no doubt. If this isn't the case, you may need to reconfigure. I don't know exactly where these settings are stored.

    3. Yes

    4. nothing much as your installation is as described and the entire library is stored in the iTunes folder. Some elements used in iTunes related activities are not stored in the iTunes library folder, but in special folders.  If you move a library to another computer, you can copy these too:

  • Write that VI PNG file will not replace the existing file

    Hi all

I use VI file PNG write to store the graph in a png file. I am able to save the file with a specific file name, which includes the date, model number, serial number etc.. Once the chart is saved as a png file, if I make changes in the graph (as autoscale, turn captions etc.) and try again to save the file with the same file name, write PNG leader VI does not save the changes I made on the chart. I'm looking at the timestamp on the windows Explorer, but it is not updated. I opened the VI itself (which is write protected) to see if it generates an error if I provided the same file name, but it does not generate an error.

I don't know if I am missing anything.

Can you people please help me find a way to replace the existing PNG file?

I'm using LabVIEW 2013 on Win 7 machine.

p.s. I use the second method mentioned in this article:

    http://digital.NI.com/public.nsf/allkb/5AE4ADCBB65A6D8F86256FBF007A1AC1

(Programmatically with the Get Image method).

You are also looking at the image itself? Explorer Windows cannot update the timestamp in the display immediately, or you might be looking at creation time, which doesn't seem to change when you replace a file.

I can say that I saw a similar question very recently (he was also PNG, even if it's not really relevant), and here it certainly crushes - http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/LAVA-snippet-overwrite-keeps-old-date-time-of-png-file/m-p/3257059#M...

  • It is April 2013, so why the date change to January 2002 it is restarted each time?

Why my computer keep changing the date of January 2002 it is restarted each time?   Several times I manually put it in April 2013 with time zone (GMT-05:00) Eastern time (United States and Canada &).  But on reboot it goes back to the year 2002.  I have Windows XP Home edition.

Oh no! I had not thought of that. If the default BIOS is happened to run on now.  Once I replaced the c - mos battery should I search and download a BIOS update?

More modern computers don't need a battery to maintain their settings or be reconfigured when the battery is changed.  That's why this battery is more precisely called the RTC (Real Time Clock) battery.

It is sometimes known as the CMOS battery because it is the type of memory (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) in what settings that the BIOS needs used to be saved.  Nowadays, these settings are saved in another type of 'no volatile random access memory' (NVRAM memory) that does not need a battery to maintain memory.

In the old days (maybe also recently when Win95 was running), electronics is not able to detect the type of HDD to use (and possibly other materials) and configurations should be set manually. Because the CMOS memory does need a battery to maintain, when the battery is dead, you need to reset these configurations.

  • N2024P configuration MS Lync 2013

We need to configure a few Dell N2024P for Lync VoIP switches, in addition to the QoS DSCP global configuration you aware Lync needs to divide the network into two VLANs or is not necessary and prioritize traffic via DSCP is sufficient for the voice quality?

    Here's the current scenario:

The Lync server is hosted by an outside vendor cloud/VoIP, we connect customers through Lync 2013 autodiscovery without any problems, the majority of IP phones is CX600 for MS Lync and the rest are phones USB CX300 or MS LifeChat headsets 4000 USB.

Each seat having Ethernet that a slope, the CX600 GB is connected to the local network and the computer to the phone. In all other cases the computer is connected to the local network.

Thanks in advance for your help in this matter.

The server DHCP will need a scope up for 10 VLANS. And the switch will have to relay DHCP of the VLAN 10 queries to the VLAN as the DHCP server is on.

  • Replace the hard drive on G60-445DX

You need to replace the hard drive of 320 GB in this laptop. After you install the new hard drive, is it possible to put the old hdd as an external? The old drive is Vista; the new drive will be Win7Pro. I need to transfer data and eliminate the virus 'Internet Security Pro 2013 "on the old drive. Is it possible, perhaps using usb?

Thanks for the envelope, at Newegg. I need now to locate a reasonally price hdd and since I'll install Win7Pro 64-bit and more memory.

Karpersky drive starts an analysis, but 10 minutes in this analysis, the loptop stop! I tried Mode safe several times... Malwarebytes is available, but after a few minutes the laptop stops. This really aggrevating! But, if all goes well, update the HDD, memory and OS my daughter will have a reliable for a few years... machine now, if she believes everything that appears on his screen... and runs a scan on a regular basis, maybe all will be fine for some time to come.

  • Replace the SSD on X230T

The SSD on my new X230T failed (SMART short self-test failure).

I contacted Lenovo support on January 1013 2 and I was told that the part is not available. As the computer is under warranty-NBD, bought with the computer, I was told that the issue has been increased, and a technical support person would contact me soon. After waiting until yesterday (January 8, 2013) without any response, I called Lenovo support and I was told that the party was still unavailable due to high demand, that the question has been increased, and someone has to contact me soon. So far, nothing happened and I desperately need to use my computer for work.

I think to buy a SSD and replace the defective one by myself. I wonder if someone has done the same. This will void the manufacturer's warranty?

The computer configuration is as follows:

    I7 - 3520M, 16 GB RAM, 256 GB of SSD, Windows 7.

Suggestions for my computer to return to work will be very appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

I didn't have to change something in the BIOS and I had a regular 7200 RPM HDD. That you already had an SSD, you should be set. I just do a fresh install after putting the drive in the Bay. I followed the following guide and did a new install of Windows 7.  Under the Windows Setup part, I chose scenario 1 and used the ABR program in step 3 to make.

  • Bad_Pool_Header BSOD on several PC randomly after installing Lync 2013

We just deployed Microsoft Lync 2013 in our Organization.  In fact, we have about 18 machines Windows XP left so they Lync 2010, but on 100 machines Win 7 with 2013.

Since this installation, there were a few random BSODS multiple computers and they are usually BAD_POOL_HEADER and it refers to two files, ntoskrnl.exe, and win32k.sys.
That they come from different machines, it cannot be the corruption of the local memory.  If it's a particular machine I would exchange the RAM, but it is not that.
Windows 7 Pro 64-bit machines.  Office 2010 32-bit.  The last change is Lync 2013 15.0.4517.1004 MSO 15.0.4517.1005 32-bit.  Before deploying Lync 2013, I did have one of these reports.
The BSOD is random.  Not necessarily the same PC every day.  Maybe 3 or 4 BSOD's a day from different people.  But you really try to determine what is happening here until things get worse.  Also, we run Vipre Antivirus Business.  It is configured to exclude *. OST files, just to help the stability of Outlook 2010 for those who use laptop computers in cached mode.
Any idea?  I've been collecting dump files.
