  Having bought just a M-Audio Keystation 61es plug-and-play and running XP service pack 2, the computer does not design it.  I see on the online forum that these are not recognized in Vista either... Help.  I tried to download the right driver update M-audio - still does not work.

  How do you connect your deivce? Take a look at this image.

  I used the Dragon Naturally Speaking for years without problem on the computer with XP.  I have recently upgraded to Windows 7 and the same equipment and can not get all its entry with the headset at all.

  Headset says Device Manager works correctly.  All the volume sliders are high.

  I had the computer built to my card a few years ago.  He had Win XP on it, because Vista was still fragile.  It uses an internal on motherboard sound card.  I upgraded to Win 7 Home Premium, and there is nothing on the Device Manager for Audio which shows no problem.  In fact, it is said of device drivers and microphones work well.

  Everything worked fine with XP, and this is the only problem I've found since moving to Windows 7.  Speakers work fine.

  I use a headset for Dragon Naturally Speaking.

  10 minutes later - I decided to check again, and I changed to another helmet - and this worked well.  Thanks for your reply.

  You should take it to an Apple store if you don't feel able to fix it yourself.

  I fixed that with a toothpick before, but Apple will never tell you put something other than a headphone port. Also, if you damage the port you will void any warranty on your device. So if you think you can fix it yourself, you just need to get the small 'flap' back in its place. But if damage you the computer, Apple will not help you. And don't try to blame me.

  I have it! seems so simple now... after the last 2 idea you I gave does not, I went into the details of the system audio just poking around again thinking it might hurt only is more then I had. I found myself for the 100' e times at least on the tab enchancments and just clicking on things I ticked 'disable all enhancments' even if it us no equity and applied, and boom, problem solved for now at least.   Anyway. I managed to get the proper waveform I wanted, just stored waveform in the default values and frequency input, so I can some frequency I want input. When I run the example VI itself, it displays the waveform for the machine just that very well, however, when I use this example VI as a Subvi, it didn't come out of the machine data.

  When I say defaults for some of its entries, I mean the values that are usually connected by a user, controls that are not 'inputs' in VI.

  I understood the question, and I must say that I am embarrassed. If you look at the code, I'm feeding a resource VISA name, when the Subvi needs just a chain with the GPIB address number.

  I assume you are using Vista Movie Maker 6 and not Live Movie Maker?

  It is a problem that I've not seen before... the recorded length must be equal
  at times combined clips on the timeline. I guess it's possible
  If you've done a lot of editing/trimming clips... something was corrupted.

  I was wondering... If you import the .wma file saved in Movie Maker and drag
  it to the timeline... it shows the clip as being the length of 12 minutes? If it isn't...
  Perhaps you could he split and right click Delete unwanted 6 minutes and
  then re-save.

  Divide... drag the playback at the end of the music and the type indicator... CTRL + L
  .. .to split the file then right-click of the unwanted part and click on delete.

  Tip: Unlike clips video... audio clips can be dragged to the timeline, so don't forget
  they are dragged all the way to the left to prevent air from dead at the beginning or
  between the clips.

  It may be worth trying to go to... Tools / Options / compatibility... tab and the left click
  the "All default settings" button before the Save.

  And... If the clips audio source are not the. WMA format... it could be a useful
  try to convert them to WMA before you import into Movie Maker.
