M1210

Hello

HP LaserJet M1217 MFP (M1210 series) nfw

Mac OS

New installation.

Can receive faxes but not send.

Error message - no response.

Any suggestions?

Thank you very much

Lesley.

Hi Sean,.

Thanks for the info, that although overall, does not actually solve the problem.

However, I am pleased to say that the problem has been resolved and we inform HP. In the interest of completeness, here is the solution:

The cable of fax supplied with the product was the wrong cable! It was a 4 pin cable, and it should have been a two-prong cable.

Fortunately my husband keeps all kinds of cables and managed to find a two-prong cable - job done.

Many thanks and best wishes,

Lesley.

If version 3.1 to the Setup program has been lost, it's probably a good thing since this version is about 8 years old and the current version is 4.5, you can get it from here:

I recently changed from a PC to a Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite.  My printer is a Laserjet professional M1210 MFP series (although the info on the printer says Laserjet MFP M1217/mfw).  I don't know where to find the drivers and the correct software and I don't know how to install this printer on Mac.  It will print, but no other features work such as scanning or fax.

Can someone direct me to the correct software and the process step by step on how to install the software for Mac?

  • Dell XPS M1210 webcam not recognizing not not driver on Windows 7

I have a Dell XPS M1210 with Windows XP Home, I've upgraded to Vista and later to 7, the problem is when I upgraded to 7 I had problems because I didn't delete anything, after that I decided to reformat the laptop using windows 7 (by removing the entire partitions) and aftet 7 installation I downloaded all the drivers and everything worked well, except that the fan was makin a thud I decided to open the laptop everything cleaned up and put back. Calmed down after the noise of the fan, but the webcam no longer works, it says that it needs drivers, and when I install it, first time he told me plugged the cam (integrated cam), after uninstalling and installing the driver a couple of times, that the camera has detected during the installation of the driver, but after that when I try to use it it says that no cam is currently installed. When I go to the devices, it shows a unspecified device, the USB composite device. I have not been able to find a driver that actually works, or the problem may be the cam is not compatible with windows 7, or when I open the laptop, how can I find out which wire is the webcam. When I turn the cam cell phone makes a sound similar to when you plug a USB device I guess that it detects the cam for a few seconds, what could be the problem.

Problem solved I downgrade from Vista Ultimate, download the drivers and all works correctly, the camera now works perfectly, I guess that logitech has not come with drivers for Windows 7...

    Thank you!!!

  • pilot integrated Logitech cam for dell xps m1210 model

I upgraded my dell laptop xps m1210 model with windows 7 Professional 32 bit software.since so I'm not able to find the driver for my integrated Logitech camera.

    Hi himasagarkrishna,

It seems that Dell have not rolled on the latest drivers, still for the camera. The last driver update was on 08/12/2006

However, try to install the old driver in legacy mode.
For more information about how to install the drivers in legacy mode, click here

    To download drivers, click here.

If this does not work, you might have to contact Dell.

  • SP1 Sigmatel and QuickCam drivers compatible for my M1210?

Still awaiting Windows SP1 - my research on this and other Forums seem to indicate that the drivers for Sigma such High Def Audio CODEC and the QuickCam for Notebooks Dell must be updated before this update will be offered.

I'm running Vista Home Premium and the following corresponding drivers are installed:

    QuickCam for Dell Notebooks - Logitech 08/02/2007 - v 10.5.1.1124

    Sigma such CODEC Audio HD - Sigma such 12/01/2007 - v 6.10.0.5343

If anyone knows what is later on these drivers?  Chris B you have anything yet for the M1210?

I'm all for date on Windows and the computer works fine as if it were so don't really want to create a mess.  Just curious if anyone with the same machine installed SP1?

BTW: My Dimension 9200 SP1 update and it happened quickly and smoothly without any problem.

  • Upgrade HD for XPS M1210 (Media Direct)

    Hello

I read the whole forum, however I have still no answer to my question:

Is it possible to upgrade my XPS M1210 installed HD (Hitachi Travelstar 80 GB, 5400 RPM, SATA) to a new and more BIG HD (Samsung HM 320JI, 320 GB, 5400 RPM, SATA)?

I've read several threats on the problem with HD Dell Media Direct partition, but I have not found a solution.

What I've done so far: changed HDs, (backup and restore with Acronis True Image Enterprise Server 9.1).

The new HD works, but the System (BIOS) does not like a 320 HD, he still thinks that the HD has the same size as the old one (80 GB less a couple of GB).

If there is no way to upgrade to a Dell laptop, there is no reason to buy Dell!

Thanks for your help and answers

  • XPS M1210/Vista - cannot listen to device connected to the line in jack through the speakers.

Hello, I have a laptop XPS M1210, running Vista Home Ultimate with his SigmelTel card. I'm unable to play any device that is plugged into the line-in socket through the M1210 speakers. I installed the drivers from Dell and I am able to record audio device, so I think the online part works. I've seen this hack on the ' net if I go to regedit and look for the 'EnableInputMonitor' key, then it will work. Unfortunately, I could not find this key nor exactly where he created within the registry. Is there a way to make it work under Vista? Thank you!!! Jose

  • Printers HP Laserjet Pro M1130/M1210 MFP series will work with the universal PCL5 driver?

I have this model in network and it works very well with the driver in case of Windows host-based (Server 2003). I have an ERP that needs the printer to use a PCL5 driver. If I try to print anything using the PCL5 it will not print a Windows test page, although if I stop print I see work in the print queue. When I take the break on the slopes of work and for all purposes useful, looks like it has been sent to the printer, but the page is not printed.

    Anyone tried this before?

    Thanks for your help!

Thanks for your quick response! That clears up that then!

    Thanks again.

  • XPS M1210 - no sound

    DISREGARD THIS MESSAGE *.

I found the answer, and it was a problem of Windows Vista is not a problem of Dell.

I disabled impulsively one of the reading devices in Windows Vista, and now I cannot hear sound through the internal speakers of my laptop OR through speakers connected to the computer via the headphone Sockets. I don't know WHAT I disabled because it was a few weeks ago and I thought when I need to enable it again once he'd be here. EVIL. It is more listed in Device Manager.

The Sigma Tel HD Audio CODEC is listed and works very well. Uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers of devices for which it has not fixed the problem.

Speakers have gone very well that running the diagnostics in back is proven.

I can hear his fine with my Logitech headset that connects via the USB port.

    Any ideas?
