• Satellite L50 boots only after a forced shutdown

  Hi, I have a few problems with the start of my laptop (L50 - D, Windows 8.1) since yesterday.

  I think that the laptop does not power off properly... probably the system keeps the laptop but defines the hybrid unit stop mode. This is the default setting for win 8 / 8.1

  I recommend to disable this mode and perform a full stop

• Computer doesn't turn off not except by a forced shutdown

  My computer shuts down only about half the time, or maybe less, and then I have to force a stop to the bottom by pressing the Start button on the computer.  I use IE 11 and Windows 7 and this problem started a month ago but I don't remember not something unusual is going on when it started.  Sometimes I let it just keep running and showing that he stops, and when I come back later to check it out, sometimes it is an icon in the task bar stating "Windows".  I can click on and close the icon & then it stops.  But it happened only about three times.  Usually he just keep running and showing it to stop until I have to force a stop down.

  This scenario usually indicates a problem with the hardware. Alternatively, the driver can cause this problem. To identify the problem, check the following:

  
  1 overclocking: turn off overclocking to see if the problem occurs when the system is running at the correct speed.

  2. check the memory: check the memory using a memory controller. Check each memory chip is the same speed and that it is configured correctly in the system.

  3. power supply: make sure the power supply is enough power to properly manage installed devices.   5. default values: use the default values of the system, and run the system.

  Troubleshooting I executed before writing these lines:

  • Updated my nVidia drivers
  • Checked the themes and DWM Session Manager services, both started, both the Auto value
  • Ran the store built, the problem cannot be resolved
  • Running the Wizard Microsoft Fix It, he pointed out that my graphics card does not support Aero Glass

I started a business rule in the Regional service Console that ran a lot too long so I decided to stop it manually. But after this manual stop when I try to refersh Essbase of Hyperion Planning (Administration > manage the database > database update) I get the following error:

  I remember having forced company rule stops earlier in other Hyperion Planning 9.3.1 deployments and they did not generate such errors.   The situation was like my mouse pad gel as it was locked.

  I'm freaked out and force shutdown my mac. Then I turned off my wifi router.

  After a minute or two, I turned on my mac and everything was fine.

  I scanned my mac using free antivirus Avira and nothing came out.

  I would like to know if there is a chance that I had viruses, malware or something like that?
