IPhoto library is locked and 'force quit' or restarting solves the problem. Any ideas?
iPhoto has error message: library is locked. clicking on repair or force quit or restart has not resolved. How can I get the app to restart?
Can you give us the exact error message? Generally, the most common one said something on a disclock. Is your library on an external? If so, what format is it?
Also, what version of iPhoto?
Assuming that is not on an external, try to download iPhoto Library Manager and use the rebuild feature. (In early versions of the Library Manager, this is the file-> control Rebuild. In versions later it is under the menu library.)
This will create a completely new library. It will then copy (or try) your photos and all associated metadata and versions to this library and as close as possible to what you had in the damaged library fix it. It does this based on the information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but it means that things not shared won't be there, so no slide shows, books or calendars, for example - but it should recover all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places.
Because this process creates a completely new library and does not change your old, it is non-destructive, and if you are not satisfied with the result, you can simply go back to your old.

How to force refresh user OAM changes without having to restart the server?
Hi people,
I have an OAM authorization rule based on the ldap user attribute (it is url for ldap query under 'Allow access', rule, that is ldap: / /... with a Cache update is enabled) with the hardcoded value, so that only users with these attributes can access protected resources. My problem is that if I add/remove the attribute via the User Manager console, it does not take effect until I have actually restart the access server. I can, however, locking/unlocking the account of the user through Manager users with immediate effect.
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you, novelHi Roman,
There is no problem to run OAM identity and access servers on the same machine, with some ports you choose. I suspect that the problem is that AccessGate the identity of the server is (incorrectly) set up to talk to port 6021 - If Yes, this will be reflected in the identity\AccessServerSDK\oblix\lib\ObAccessClient.xml file and can be corrected by running the configureAccessGate command. There are additional steps to get the automatic hunting at work (in addition to the definition of the parameter doAcessServerFlush) - did you follow the documentation for these?
Kind regards

1. sometimes this feedback haptic on the mouse is not triggered, leaving me by clicking on the mouse, while feeling against nature - something that is not supposed to happen
2. after I close my laptop / closing of the lid/Eve (do not turn it off) the keyboard and the mouse literally don't work - it forces me to restart my laptop several times (sometimes around 15, take me 5-10 minutes just to get my laptop to work)
Additional details:
-J' tested a USB keyboard and mouse with my laptop and it works perfectly, even when the internal don't - maybe it's a hardware problem?
-I went to the apple store a few weeks ago and spoke to someone at the "Genius Bar," which really helped at all - he told me I have to restart my laptop every time I open and I should do another user account - although I was skeptical about the logic used to arrive at these "solutions" I tried them anyway , here we are with the same problem - also, I don't have to close my laptop down 15 times every time I want to use, it's ridiculous, and that's why I bought a mac rather than a pc.
-I'm not running any software/battery intensive programs on my laptop - especially just the word and the Google Chrome, which is not a lot
-Here is a link to a video I downloaded from google reader showing how ridiculous, it's... https://drive.Google.com/open?ID=0B4oQ4C8NCLcWTWo5aVlrbDE1QmM
Questions
-I don't think that a fix is quite likely, but any suggestions are welcome!
-Can I bring to the apple store and require a replacement? I left two years of care of apple
This is probably in the wrong category, I apologize in advance - but it is a really weird problem that I don't think has a solution. Nevertheless, thank you for the reading of my rants and seizure of your advice!
One thing that causes the mouse further trolling, is if your CPU is completely consumed by something. This can be checked in activity monitor CPU (all processes).
Two other things can keep your Mac to be properly adjusted:
GPU is suspended. These are cases where the GPU is no longer and can usually be seen in the console log, with symptoms such as GPU hang or WindowServer does not.
Disk crashes.
For the rotation of the discs, this can be a sign of imminent death of player.
For SSDS of spare parts, this can be caused by the accumulation of deleted blocks, used in activating do not trim for your third-party SSD drive.

The reason of suggests that you create a new user id is as a check against the clogging of a particular userid with junk that keeps things from being reactive. [a new user id will not have it clutter accumulated, so can react differently. He is not really a solution, it's a diagnosis.]

My iMac will be either reboot or shutdown of the apple desktop icon
My iMac will be either reboot or shutdown of the apple on the desktop icon. Items saved on the desktop disappear and the menu from the top of the screen disappears, then it is just in this mode for ever more. I then use the switch to stop, which is clearly not the best way to ensure the longtivity of my system. I use El Capitan 10.11.3 [latest version] I have tried the following but still the same issue.
- I ran disk utility, but no hard drive errors appear.
- I stop after having disconnected all my other connections (USB components, components lightning etc.), but still no change.
Before you contact Apple directly, just wondering if anyone else out there he has a similar problem. I had my hard drive 3 TB replaced a few months back, in line with a reminder official apple and this problem started to reign around one month or later.

Envy 14 CTO will not shut, forces hard stop, after the upgrade to win 10 anniversary
After a long wait in Win 10 the Envy 14 finally began to sleep and shut down properly. As soon as the update of the anniversary has been installed, we went back to the questions of the soul. System not completely stops and freezes to force a hard reboot, after that the restart that he stop or sleep is selected manually. If the system can accommodate on its own, then it is more closed or sleep without rebooting.
Course on all drivers and troubleshooting power back shortly to all default values.
Hello
Try the following.
Open settings and select System. Select food and sleep, and then click additional power settings - in the next window, click on "Choose what the power button" in the left pane.
In the next window, click on "Change settings that are currently unavailable" (close), then Remove the check mark from the box against 'Turn on a quick start (recommended) '. Click on the button Save the settings, and then close the open windows and restart the laptop.
When windows has reloaded, download the driver directly from Intel IMEI on the following link, unzip the and run the installer.
Once the installation is complete, restart the laptop.
When the machine rebooted, re - activate the quick start and restart the computer once more - let Windows take over completely for a few minutes before checking.

Satellite P10 PSP10E shutdown and the light stays on
Hello
I'm having some problems with my old man (2004) Satellite P10 PSP10E-0SCM7-FR
One day he simply closed (as if power, no BSOD) and the power and the led for WIFI and the CD/DVD button remains lit.
Most of the time I can't activate it under as the power button is still on. (Power button, WIFI, and CD/DVD are on).
I tried to remove the battery and unplug the computer for at least 30mm
I tried to press the Start button for a period of time (one minute) then disconnect everyting (battery and power cord) at least 30 minutes before to turn it back on
I have reinitialzed the computer using history CD provided with the computer
I removed the radiator cleaned as well as the fan and then replace a new thermal grease
I changed the memoryYet I still have the same problem, for some reason, the computer simply shutdown and the light stays on. Occasionally, the power light start, and I am able to restart the computer. But I'm unable to understand what makes the computer is shut down, or when that happens, what makes the power light turns off and make it possible to start the computer again.
No idea what's going on?
The Start button / stop and led market would be an error message?
If so, what that means?Any help is very appreciated. Thank you!
Damien

Hello
Usually, books closed due to the high temperature and in this case, the unit must be disassembled and cleaned professionally, but it seems that you already have what I read in your post above.
Probably its a motherboard problem.
The RAM modules appear to be checked and is not RAM issue.

Restart the VI for be new Tx params?
Hello
I am new to the use of USRPs and have very little overall experience with Labview. I'm currently implementing frequency-hopping by the example of the transmitter of package USRP. I converted most of the transmitter to the constants options since I'm mainly interested in the frequency of change in appearance and included a button to change the frequency. The problem is that I need to stop and restart the VI for the USRP starts the frequency. I thought that there must be a way to reset the VI whenever changes frequency without having to manually stop/run, but so far I have failed to find it. Is there a way?Hey cynop,
Thank you attach your VI. The first property node that you have inserted, you don't need. You can wire the frequency of your structure to deal directly at the entrance of carrier frequency of the niUSRP configuration Signal.vi. The property node that is inside the loop, this is what you need to change the frequency on the fly. When you update the control of carrier frequency on your façade, the frequency of the carrier of your USRP updates also. One thing to note is that the indicator of frequency forced on the front panel will not update. You can shoot on the frequency of the carrier under pressure inside the loop of this indicator to update. I do not recommend to do it right. The amount of time it takes the driver to query the device for frequency can be enough time to cause a buffer overflow error.

Hi nws405,
· What version of Windows is installed on your computer?
You suggest to allow full updates and then restart the computer first, do not stop the force.
Suggestion 1:
View the history of Windows Update for updates that are waiting to be installed. To view the history in Windows Update
1. click on Start Orb
2. in the start menu search bar type Windows Update and press ENTER.
3. in the left pane, click view update history and check if all updates are installed successfully or not.
4. If updates failed, then uninstall it and try to install manually and check if that helps.
If updates are waiting, try to install manually and check if that helps. to install the updates follow the link below.

I get the following message: closing system, the system stops. Please save all work in progress and log off. All wukk unsaved changes are lost. This shutdown was initiated by authority NT\SYSTEM. The system process ' C: Windows\system 32\services.exe ended unexpectedly with status 1073741482 code. The system will now stop diwn and restart.
I tried the boot, and all the days that something did not work if today I'm the switch back to the normal startup. I tried to run a scan, but it does not have the "clean boot" State... it would also not automatic updates... so here Let's go!
I had the same problem, tried the clean boot, like Wells, and it has not fixed the problem. Please try this:
There are several steps to follow.
The first is a suggestion from one of the blogs with a slight variation.First step:
Enter safe mode. (Put in the computer market, press F8 several times until the window offering the Safe Mode option appears. Use your top and arrows to select Safe mode, and then click it.)Since the Office Safe Mode:
1. right click on 'My Computer' and select 'Properties': my computer-> properties. This opens the "System Properties" dialog box2. Select the "Advanced" tab
3. under "Startup and recovery", click on the button "settings".
4. at the bottom, in the section "System failure", see what boxes are checked. Windows XP checks them all by default.
5. click on "Automactically restart." This is probably your cause if you get automactic closures. As an alternative to optimise this method, you can, at your own discretion, also do the following:
i. uncheck "write an event to the system log.
II. check 'Send an administrative alert' (which should do more to view the sudden error rather than stop).
III. uncheck "Automactically restart."
IV. in the combo box of the section 'Write debugging information', choose '(none) '. Note that this will disable the rest under "information write Debuggin".6. your finished, then click 'Ok' to close the dialog of void and then 'Ok' again in the "System Properties" dialog box
That should do it. Some upgrade suggestions are the best propally but I think these security only handle issues related to other areas if they worth downloads of 2 to 5 hours of 56 k modem for added security. However, I find that some updates are not even for my type of installation (due to unused configuration detection?) or I do not use the services.
For more information on Tweaking, I suggest to look at "http://www.tweakxp.com" If you are a user of Windows XP.
Good luck.
Step 2:
Also in safe mode. Some of these steps have been found on the microsoft Web site. However, the following text is a little different and should translate into success. It did for me.
1) enter the Configuration of the utility system. You can do this by done safe mode right click on Start, by choosing Search, then typing in msconfig and searching the c: drive. Once the search is complete, click on one of the icons of msconfig. This will bring up The System Configuration utility.
(2) click on the tab general select Selective startup.
(3) click to uncheck the Process SYSTEM. INI file.
(4) click to uncheck the process to WIN. INI file.
(5) click to disable Load Startup items. Make sure that The Load System Services and use Original of INITIALIZATION. INI are checked.
6) click on the Services tab.
(7) click to select the hide all Microsoft Services check box.
8) click disable all, and then click OK.
(9) computer.Step 3: log in to Windows.
(1) when you receive the following message is displayed, click Select, check box don't show this message or launch the system to Windows Startup Configuration utility , and then click ok.
If this solves the problem, go to step 4. If it is not the case, then you will need support from a professional.
Step 4: find the culprit.
1) enter in the System Configuration utility (SCU for future reference.)
2) click on the Startup tab. (NOTE: If you find "audm" within the list of starting points, it is most likely the culprit.) It was for me. If it is, go to If not, go to 3).
(3) the top of the list in the start menu, check AN item, then restart the computer. Make a note of each element that starts without failure.
Repeat this step until you get the window to "Shut down NT Authority... ». This will reveal that the start point is the origin of the problem. Once found, go to 4).
(4) get in safe mode / SCU / Startup / untick the culprit.
(5) restart Windows. If this solves the problem, you are almost finished. If this isn't the case, you will need the services of a professional.Step 5: remove the culprit and the reactivation of the process.
1) go to Start / Search / and look for the item that caused the problem. (When I did a search for audm - 2 released files.)
(2) delete all files with the name of the offender and empty your trash.
3) enter the Configuration of the system - (start/run/msconfig).
(4) on the general tab, re-enable the Process SYSTEM.ini, WIN.ini processand Load Startup items.
(5) restart the computer. The problem should be solved.
Basic suggestions:
(1) ALWAYS keep a firewall- and choose the option "Open at Startup. (That's how I think that was my problem - by not having is not the Firewall opens at the beginning).
(2) perform a virus Scan is every DAY.
(3) keep all windows programs and drivers updated - every DAY.
(4) keep all antivirus programs and firewalls updated - every DAY.Good luck
