  Since you are not able to restore the system to normal mode, I suggest you to do a system restore to a recent date of WinRE using the full version of Windows Vista disk.

We took the hard drive from her computer and put it in the vista and the computer DID start up (which was great cause I've not seen on in about a month) but it started up to a blue screen. Put us the hard drive in my brothers xp and the computer was working fine... For a few hours. Now the computer will not start correctly and we are trying to restore his computer but couldn't find the restore disc. Her hard drive was in my computer literally 15 seconds and his computer is now toast.

  It's a USB-dock worker with a generation of additional graphics card in and no docking solution.
  The only thing you can do is disable any action when you close the lid in power management, then close the laptop screen when it is docked with Dynadock.
