Mac OS shutdown and then finding no system at startup

OS x 10.11.6, on my iMac, it suddenly restarts but can't find the boot system (screen, gray "not signed" alternating with file with? inside). I start to get disk utility, perform first aid, he said that everything is OK. I start again. Once it worked. Then, it does not work. I tried reinstalling OS X, but when it was time for the computer to restart, he could not find the start. This time I went to Disk Utility (for access using cmd - R), which leave until I had to start and selected my Macintosh HD to restart (the only option). He did. But I fear that the problem is still there. Is there another way to find out where is the problem? Anyone no matter what putting on what to do next? Thank you.

Yes, it is a known bug in parsing code (as well as many others) from the files of Apple.

Apple has not bypassed to fix it again (but they fixed some of those related to 10.6).

Exactly, you have to find the gaps.  If start_date_time is less than or equal to the MAXIMUM of all the end_date_times earlier, then it isn't a gap; Otherwise, there is a gap.

What is the problem with MAX?

Restore to a larger HARD drive is not a problem if the machine accepts more HARD drive. In this case, unless the BIOS plays with her, nothing would stop you to restore your computer using your backup/restore disc.

    Kind regards.

  • After an update, I get error "not responding." and then began to hang at startup; uninstalled and reinstalled still hangs at startup

After you apply a systematic update on Windows XP, I started having "not responding" to stop and had to cancel the task through the Task Manager. The error "not responding" moved to the selection of items on a screen and had to cancel via the Task Manager. I applied the updates and that did not fix the problem. The last update was 34.0.5 and FireFox would not start up. I noticed several people also had this same problem with Windows 7 (although my Windows 7 works ok - touch wood).

34.0.5 upward in safe mode but would not come otherwise. I did a Reset and FireFox started with Extensions disabled. The first expansion, I have activated was Norton 2014 Toolbar and FireFox did not come to the top. After application of all available newly INDEPENDENT States fixed, FireFox came upward with the NIS active 2014 and seems to operate normally in the present tense.

How do I do a system restore with Vista Home basic when it is stuck on configuring updates?

    Hello

You shouldn't have a system restore to fix this.

You can use the solutions in this KB - 3 methods and I listed a little help for them below

install an update in Windows Vista and Windows 7

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/76905-System-Restore-how.html

You can also do a restore of the system of starting with a disk of Vista or Windows 7.

Method 3: Use the downloads at the end of this article - note for Vista x 86 versions 32 bit and Vista
    x 64 64-bit.

    Hello

I suggest buying a USB SATA docking station and backup all needed files on the external hard drive through the work laptop...

    http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/cnm-hard-drive-docking-station-for-2-5-3-5-sata-internal-hard-drives-01992148-pdt.html?srcid=867&xtor=AL-50&istCompanyId=9a35962d-802d-4e67-9721-0a3328ca1f02&istItemId=mrpwxxx&istBid=t

All you have to do is remove the hard drive work, adapt it to the docking station and connect the station to the laptop. It will work as a drive external hard usb.

When you have finished the backup, create an image backup disc system on the work laptop and use it to restore the other laptop...

Called Costco to get assistance from the technology with a desktop computer HP Envy. The tech asked me to do a system of hard drive recovery, even if I got recovery discs...

The computer screen showed 100% software installation of recovery in less than two hours and the machine came into fashion "deactivate the tower."

Question #2: Guidance concerning such a judgment and then redo the system recovery once more, but this time with the recovery discs?

Theoretically, the hard drive by using Recovery Manager F11 recovery should produce the same results as the set of recovery disks.  The set of recovery disks will probably replace all and then give the factory settings.  The result should be the same, however, I don't see no harm to do so.  What did you do to try to get out if "turn on, turn off"?

On the thing to try before using the drive set - unplug the PC from the wall.  Press the power button, that would be turning on the PC if connected.  Hold button power in 30 seconds to a minute.  And then reconnect the power cord to back in and try to feed normally upward.
