  • How can I fix ': is not a valid character in the path?

I have a new Mac Pro with space limited on the internal drive. Therefore, I put my folder/User on an external drive, which of course where the folder of my Sites now. When I try to make a setting up a Dreamweaver Site, my local path is "/ Volumes/DAToptic5 2 TB: user/Sites/RCHome.» When I try to save the installation, I get an error message ': is not a valid character in the path. How can I work around this?

The sites folder, with three sites, one with a lot of large images, is too big to fit on the internal drive.

    Thank you.

    Hi aaprlore,

Please see the document below that have details about the strategies to use in Dreamweaver file naming.

    http://helpx.Adobe.com/Dreamweaver/KB/naming-strategies-Dreamweaver-various-interpreters.h tml

Change the name of the reader by selecting the drive, and then clicking the name once to change.

    OR

Click on the drive name > Get Info > change the name in the section "Name & Extension".

You can also change the name of the disk using disk utility in Applications > Utilities folder.

    Do you launch Dreamweaver and go to manage sites< choose="" the="" site="" that="" you="" have="" issues="">

    1. Double-click the Site name to edit it, or click on the pencil icon.
    2. Click the folder icon and navigate to the folder of the actual location on the disk.
    3. Click on save and then done.
    4. Re-create the Site cache in Dreamweaver by going to the Site< advanced="">< recreate="" site="">

Let me know if it helps.

    Thank you

    Hello

Welcome to the VMware communities forum.

Unfortunately Apple does not allow to run a virtual mac OS X on non-Apple brand hardware.

Because this violates Apple EULA (and as such VMware Community terms of use), the problems you have with trying to run OS X using VMware Workstation cannot be discussed in this forum.

    Hope you understand,

  • If someone could correct? 'Windows 7.vmx' is not a valid virtual machine configuration file

    Hello world

I seem to have what seems to be a fairly common problem. "I try to boot my windows 7 VM and I get this error message: '/Users/.../Documents/Virtual Machines.localized/Windows 7.vmwarevm/Windows 7.vmx' is not a valid virtual machine configuration file.

Someone would be nice enough to make me a new windows7.vmx file? I saw in other places around here, but I don't know how to do it myself. I enclose the .log files and my windows7.vmx file, so a snapshot of the folder "contents of packaging.

Thank you so, so much! I wish bake you cookies, but unfortunately their delivery might be a bit complicated

I have no locking of files in the directory.

The attached file "Windows_XP_Professional.vmx.zip" contains a new "Windows XP Professional.vmx" file created from the supplied vmware.log file.

With VMware Player closed unzip (double-click on) attached file "Windows_XP_Professional.vmx.zip" and replace the file "Windows XP Professional.vmx" original by one here.

I just powered up VMWare Fusion running Windows Vista and got the error "/ Users / my name/Documents/Virtual Machines / Windows Vista.vmwarevm / Windows Vista.vmx ' is not a valid virtual machine configuration file

    It worked fine earlier today.

I saw where WoodyZ aida veganjustice apparently this same problem in July.  If you need me to take a screenshot of the Virtual Machine Bundle package, please explain how to do because I'm not technically literate.  But I need this to work!

The attached file "Windows Vista.vmx" created the vmware - 0.log.  Simply place the attached file in the Document of Virtual Machine Package, and you should be good to go.

Make sure that the merger is closed when you replace the file.

I can't open the RAW files from my Nikon D800 (i.e. NEF files).  I use a Mac with Photoshop CS5 and El Capitan 10.11.2 version running.  I get a message that "could not complete your request because the file appears to be a model of camera that is not supported by the installed version of Camera Raw. And temporarily disable the Gatekeeper by allowing downloads from anywhere, or your installer will be marked as 'damaged' because that CS5 is out before Gatekeeper and is not "signed" that is not approved.

  • Not a valid AIR or AIRI file

    Try this: adt-package - pkcs12 keystore - stores HelloWorld.p12 - bundle target HelloWorld.app HelloWorld.xml

    Gives me the error:

File /Users/cameron/HelloWorld/HelloWorld.xml is not a valid AIR or AIRI file

And here is the content of this XML file:

    <? XML version = "1.0" encoding = "UTF-8"? >

    " < application xmlns =" http://ns.Adobe.com/air/application/13.0 ">

    examples.html.HelloWorld < id > < /ID >

    What is the problem?

    Running adt version gives:

    13.0.0.83

If the version is correct... and the XML file looks OK to me. Any ideas?

Here is the link to the documentation: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/air/build/WS901d38e593cd1bac1e63e3d128cdca935b-8000.html

The other two things I can think off the top of my head is to ensure that the certificate was created correctly, or even make a new. The other thing that I can think of is to make sure that your version of ADT is the right one for the AIR version you are targeting in the XML (although I think he would have given you an error message different if it was the case).

Seems to be a syntax problem. Have you tried language = "java" instead of language = "Java"?

    Mac OS X 10.7.5.

    PS CC 2014 2.2.

Since I've updated my CC of the PS today, I'm unable to open jpg in PS files, even the JPG files that I had no problem opening in PS so far. Whenever I try, I get the following error message:

(I'm able to open PSD files, however.)

    Help someone? Much appreciated!
