MacBook crashes, won't start frequently

Hello

I have a macbook 2012 mid pro retina, 2.3 ghz processor i-7 and 8 GB of ram. Today, it started randomly crashing, trying to start it it often showed me a black screen, keyboard also don't light up. Repair mode does not start. Safe mode runs about 20% of the time, reset the PRAM and SMC. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. I ran test material and found no errors. Utility system says that my HD is very good. The last crash gave me this panic report:

  • Mid-2015 MacBook Pro won't start every 2 weeks, need to restore from a backup.

Hello all, big problem, Apple says that it is not material (although I'm not sure), but if not, then there must be some sort of conflict between my installed software and the new model of MacBook Pro mid-2015. Help!

The problem here is that I've been running EXACTLY the same configuration on a MacBook Pro 2012 since, well, 2012, without any problem. But when I received the new machine in December, I migrated everything on (using Migration Assistant), I have installed a Bootcamp partition, migrated my old installation of Windows on the use of WinClone, and everything was fine for about 2 weeks. This is the same process as I did when I upgraded the machine from 2009 to 2012 also machine well.

Suddenly one day, starting from Windows to Mac OS, I watched the progress bar filling, then stop, then the screen went black. No sound, nothing. I hit the power button and the same sequence. Progress bar about 3/4 of way filled, on the screen then black, then the unit turns off.

I called Apple, went to two Apple stores, and we all tried to run disk utility to fix the problem. But every time I find myself with a message "Invalid node structure. The volume could not be completely checked. File system check exit code 8. Updated scores of start-up of the volume as required. File system check or repair a failure. Operation failed... "The topic on this bed,"first aid process has failed, if possible, back up the data on this volume. »

The idea of first re - install the operating system didn't work... apparently there was a problem with the volume at this point so he would not restore. The next option was to completely erase the partition and then restore the backup. That worked, but then the entire process repeated two weeks later.

I have been through this process 7 ~ 8 times since December! It seems to happen every two weeks and no one can tell me why it's happening on this new machine, but I have NOT had the problem on the old machine running the same configuration.

Apple said it might have something to do with execution Tuxera NTFS on Mac (if I can share documents across side Windows). I have not removed... Tuxera two restorations there is no change.

I also use Paragon HFS + for Windows, because most of my material is actually stored on the Mac side. I have NOT yet removed this (current running Windows 10) because I have NO idea why or how something running on the Windows side could affect the operating system volume on the side of Mac... especially when everything I do is opening and closing things as Word documents.

I have log files and screenshots (I write below a few... but there are many others). Apple says "it is not a hardware problem" so they won't have to help understand if it's just software. I beg the community to help!

    Here's what I new material:

MacBook Pro (retina, 15 inch, mid-2015)

    Intel Core i7 2.8 GHz

    16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

    AMD Radeon R9 M370X 2048 MB

This graphics card is the NEW one, first, that I do business with AMD

    My OLD machine is:

    MacBook Pro (15-inch, mid-2012)

    Intel Core i7 2.7 GHz

    16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB

This occurs when the drive Boot CAN get the initial Blob of the software off the drive with the boot loader, but when he tried to mount the disk with the file system, it can not be mounted. It runs a single past of [essential] disk first aid. If the drive cannot be mounted, your Mac can not do something useful, he died.

If the problem could not be fixed quickly, you should have been advised to REPLACE this hard drive.

This is what you need to do now and stop wasting your time. A new drive costs less than $ 100 and will solve your problems.

  • How to destroy a macbook that won't start?

    Hello world

I have a macbook pro (July 2011, 2.2 ghz, 4 GB ram) which has had some problems this last March, it would not start up normally and I had to try a model using secure, single-user boot, and run disk utility to force it to initialize. This works that occasionally and since buying a new laptop in March, I tried not he starts, so he has been sitting for awhile. I discovered, there need a new card logic I've heard are expensive, so I decided to sell super cheap and someone else deal as I'm not interested in the MacBook more and went with pc.

the bottom line is I need to clean the hard drive before selling - how can I do this without having to start it upward? is it still possible? If I can start it upward, I would also like to know how to wipe just in general. TIA!

You can't wipe without booting from an external source. You need a drive external internal bootable OS X in order to completely erase the hard drive.

If it cannot be started, the only thing you can do is remove the drive and destroy him physically.

  • MacBook Pro won't start not

    Hello

I have a MacBook Pro that, if I'm not mistaken that I bought in 2009. So, last week I had several open files and I was typing on a Word document, I typed whenever he got more lag. Then my laptop just turned off automatically and I received a message (I don't remember very well what it read) and after that I tried to turn it on again, the start bar just loaded up to half, he stayed there for 10 minutes, then the computer is turned off again. Help, I can't lose the files that I had in this computer. What should I do?

    Thanks for your help.

    Try SMC and NVRAM resets:

    https://support.Apple.com/en-us/HT201295

    https://support.Apple.com/en-us/HT204063

    Try a safe boot:

    https://support.Apple.com/en-us/HT201262

If no success, using the original installation CD and see if you can start the MBP.

If you can, after the language selection, the display should have a top menu bar.  Click on UTILITIES and select and run disk utility > first aid.  If the disk cannot be repaired, a new will be necessary.

If you cannot start with the installation diskettes, make an appointment at an Apple store genius bar for a FREE evaluation.

    Ciao.

  • Beginning of 2011 that MacBook Pro won't start, watch display rose with logo

Hi, my macbook froze, out of the blue, this morning, and I was unable to turn off normally so I forced a strong power down by pressing the power button until it is turned off. Since then, whenever I try to turn it on, it is pink and the display is fragmented and lines crossing (see photo) and the progress bar does not go to Midway. On a few attempts, he went from the brand halfway on the progress bar on a white screen.  I tried:

    -reset the NVRAM

(which caused his startup rose once again, but she suddenly turn into a blue screen United, but I ended up forcing a power down again after that stayed turned blue for 10 + minutes).

    -a secure start

(she who seems to do nothing simply creates the macbook to initialize rose as mentioned above.)

    -a SMC reset

(what could start the startup system rose, but then switch to a black screen after the mark halfway on the progress bar).

Annoyingly enough, my macbook is nearly a year out of applecare. Is there a solution that you guys may be familiar with? However, I have some files on the hard drive that I just can't lose, so I don't want to do anything to jeopardize the files.

(which does absolutely nothing, the screen is initializing ink

  • MacBook Pro won't start - runs in a loop

    Hi guys,.

After a few days trying to figure this painful problem, I am at the end of my home and hope someone can help.

I have a 2011 MacBook Pro, which has recently started having problems to start. During a game session (SIMMS), he all of a sudden to stop and refused to restart, and since then I have been unable to use it at all. The MBP has a new installation of El Capitan on it, but it has been working well for the past two weeks since the installation.

I tried the safe mode, mode of recovery etc, but it would not boot in any of these either. Finally, I put it target mode and reloaded El Capitan of another 'companion' MacBook Pro. This process went smoothly.

After loading it, I started from the MacBook to make sure that the operating system works OK, and it was 'companion '!

I restarted the "Companion" MBP and ejected the defective MBP and tried to restart it normally. No go, would not even boot even with the new OS.

I tried a number of things so he can begin as a result of this new facility, but all that happens is that he'll do the Apple Logo, try to start, stop, and then go around in circles.

Finally you will stop on the gray screen and the fans will start and keep running.

I'm at the end of my knowledge, so any advice would be welcome!

    Thank you

Have you tried SMC and NVRAM resets?

I'mnot you know where my disk of Mac OS x is so ideally don't want to reinstall the whole system.

I did a back up of my work using Time Machine before saving, so I hope that I have most of the things I need backup.

Restart by pressing cmd - R after the tone. It should boot into Recovery. From there, use disk to check/repair disk utility. Quit disk utility and reinstall OS X.

The circle with a slash through it means that it does not find the necessary boot files.

Any suggestions before I take it to the Genius Bar?

Here is some information that might be useful.

After I press the button for a few seconds, the trackpad does not haptic feedback, confirming that this is the start.

However, if I press the power button once again, I get haptic trackpad. It tells me that it is on, but I always get a black screen. And if I press the caps lock key, no green light appears.

My MacBook has been in place and become Finder does not always whenever I try to watch my files.

So I decided to restart and now it won't start, the startup would always freeze in the middle of the progress bar.

    I tried:

    Repair/check disk + permissions - no problem

Reinstall OS X without erasing the drive

HD recovery start: restart the computer after the ring, press on and hold down the COMMAND and R until the menu screen appears.

Repair the hard drive and permissions: at startup, select in the main menu disk utility. Repair hard disk and permissions as follows.

When the recovery menu appears, select disk utility and press the continue button. Disk utility charges and select Macintosh HD entry indented from the list on the left.  Click the first aid tab, and then click the repair disk button. If disk utility reports any errors that have been corrected, then again run repair disc until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported, click repair permissions . Wait until the operation is complete, then quit disk utility and return to the main menu.

Reinstall OS X: Select reinstall OS X and click on the continue button.

If you have no success with the above, try:

  • Lenovo SL500 Windows Vista crashed with STOP: 0x0000007B (0x80599BB0, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) error and won't start.

Original title: Lenovo SL500 Windows Vista crashed with STOP error message and won't start

    Hello peoples,
I just installed an iMicro Bluetooth adapter on my computer, and then I wanted to restart my computer. When I turned it on, loading like regular until right after the Vista loading screen, when the Blue Screen of Death (a blue screen with an error on this subject) flashed for about 1/2 second and then restarted my computer. Then he asked me if I wanted to load startup repair or simply start WIndows normally and I chose to start WIndows normally, but it's the same thing, so when the computer is restarted again, I chose the Startup Repair. He said that if I inserted an external device in my computer for me to remove it. But I had no external devices in my computer at the same time! I already pulled the iMicro adapter! So when my computer restarted again, I pressed the button Lenovo Care and charge of Lenovo Rescue and Recovery 4. (This is where I am now, typing away in the Opera browser.) I tried to find help, but could not find anythign useful so far. I installed for many drivers, updates, patches, etc. But none have anything to remove the blue screen of death. Now, after 7 hours, I really frustrated, and this is my last hope! (I don't want to save my hard drive and reinstall, because I paid more than 250 applications and more than 270 free programs on my computer! Of more, more than 350 iPad apps, of which a few are paid! Oh and 700 iBooks!)
Help, please! I'm really desperate right now, and any help would be appreciated!
    Thanks in advance!

PS I run Windows Vista Home Basic SP2 (I think) on a Lenovo ThinkPad SL500 (NOT SL500c!)

PPS Lenovo all computers have this Lenovo Rescue Recovery 4, which is like an operating system of its own. It has a browser that you can install updates and other things. Right now I use Rescue and Recovery. Thanks again in advance and please answer my question! I had this problem for a week and I'm in school tomorrow! Thanks again!

EDIT: The error message went like this:

A problem has been detected and Windows has shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

If this is the first time you've seen this Stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

Check for viruses on your computer. Remove the hard drives newly installed on the hard disk controllers. Check your hard drive to ensure that it is configured and completed proeprly. Run CHKDSK /F to check for hard drive corruption, and then restart your computer.

    Technical information:

    STOP: 0X0000007B (0X80599BB0, 0XC0000034, 0X00000000, 0X00000000)

    Thanks for the billionth time!

Photos on my new iMac won't start - get an error message after trying to fix the photo library.  I just migrated all of my old iMac a new aid of Time machine backup.  Both are running OS 10.11 (El Capitan).

Get an error message after trying to fix the photo library.

What does this error message say?  Photos crash or exit gracefully?

Where your iPhoto library that Library stored? In your pictures folder, or on an external drive?

Try to copy the library of Photos directly without Time Machine. Connect the two Macs using your network and copy the old Mac to the new library, well as signed in on your new Mac.

Then try to open this copy in Photos.
