MacBook Pro helmet has something stuck in it.

In the headphone jack of my macbook, a small roll could wedge himself inside. It is impossible to remove physically, so I don't know what options should I do now...

Have you tried an empty attachment?

  • Mid-2015 MacBook Pro 15 has Horrible battery life

I have a Macbook Pro 15 mid-2015 is the basic model, 2.2 Ghz and 256 with no graphics other than the Pro of the Iris.  I got it for about 3 months and I take off the power once a weekish and use it around the House.  Whole reason I decided to go Apple was because I wanted to the battery life that windows machines cannot offer with that kind of power.

I must have got a spleen or something because my battery life is bad.  I lance 50% screen and backlight OFF and do nothing to keep open.  My Dock has nothing open except for the mail to notify me and my browser if I use it (98% of the time).  The battery life is maximum of 4-5 hours to do this constantly, the only time where I got was more a road trip where I turned the backlight and display off and using only iTunes to listen to music through my headphones via bluetooth, it provided for 20 + hours this day here.  Just get here for the last minutes went from 38 to 19 percent more than 31 minutes of battery time.  I know a decent amount about computers and I am a saver of energy mass unless I'm hip, low light, no backlight, no program didn't open that I do not use etc and yet I get a ridiculous autonomy.

What should I do? Any suggestions? I read somewhere on the power off and then when you power back up hold down Option + command + R to put something else inside the machine.

My battery life is normal for what I described?  It of not like I'm that fool who knows nothing about computers and leaves open pages, mail, messages, itunes, Skype and browser just because I can.  I leave nothing open (so no programs on the platform were the 'point' under them), erasing everything that isn't necessary VIA activity monitor, such things as creative cloud.  I'm just puzzled.  I must have got a dud.  Please help and advise me on what I should / test.

Running OS X El Capitan 10.11.3, but it's not just because of El Capitan, this has been like that since Yosemite when I bought first.

    Thank you

Your computer is still under warranty, so do the logical thing: make an appointment at the Apple Store - Genius Bar store and bring it into service. If you are in the United States or is unable to make an appointment in this way, contact your Apple store. Don't forget that you have free phone service for 90 days after purchase.

  • Lightroom has something stuck invisible

I don't know if there has already been discussion, but I couldn't find something similar to my problem.

Anyway, there are invisible window that are not (or I could just find close button) so it blocked in the middle of Lightroom. Although it can be resized and moved but it also blocked other areas of Lightroom is it moved, too.

It's quite embarrassing for me because I can't scroll, select photos or doing activities such as the removal of the task.

Also, my computer is a MacBook Pro and its operating system is Maverick. Although my Lightroom is being tested, but this same problem also happens for non-epreuve versions in my college.

This has been reported repeatedly for quite some time on the forum and that happened to me a few times.  There seems to be a hidden in the background dialog box that Lightroom is picking up on, but there is no way to close it or make it visible.  Restart Lightroom has always resolved the problem for me so far.

  • My MacBook Pro Photo app is stuck!

Hello... I have a MacBook Pro (which I love).  The other day I went to open my "Photos" application and the home page came.  I know that sometimes there are major updates if this happens.  I clicked on the button "get started" and since then he's stuck with the circling icon on the home page (don't know what it's technical term is).  I am to tinkle on the 'take a quick tour' and see the tower but other while he's stuck and it's been almost 3 days.  I have lots of pictures on my macbook and was not able to make a good backup for several months.  I'm worried that I lost all my photos.

Why it takes so long?  Any suggestions on what to do?  I tried force quitting the program and starting over.

    Help, please!

  • HP Officejet Pro 8500 has more stuck

My system gets stuck on one of the two screens:

    1. it says print head cleaning and there he is, making no noise or do anything.

    2. it says paperjam.  I'm going to all the steps and there is no paper.

A review of the internet seems to indicate that it is a common mistake with these printers that traces of a defective part.  This forum is full of people looking for resolution and HP employees pointing just to 'remove the paper jam' videos.  I've already done... There is no paper stuck anywhere.

I discovered that the problem is a gear plastic broke into the assembly by car (there are some youtube videos showing the part) and that it is a common problem with this model.  It was cheaper to buy an ESPON in replacement and put HP in the recycling center.

  • My macbook pro 2012 has a virus or malware for sure. How can I scan it?

Either way, I can say that my computer behaves, that there is a virus or malware on board. I am unable to download any antivirus, it wont let me install. I only use firefox browser. I'm unable to open Chrome and Safari, I can just type in the search bar, cannot click on anything whatsoever in the pages. Tons of ads next to the top.

Click here and follow the instructions, or if it is not a type of adware is covered by them on the computer, these. If you would rather not remove it manually, you can run rather MalwareBytes for Mac.

MalwareBytes is a removal tool and does not stop adware or other malware from entering the computer. It should not be invoked to prevent future incidents; Instead, avoid downloading software from sources other than the Mac App Store or Developer Web sites.

  • Slow MacBook Pro

Hi, I have an Early 2011 MacBook Pro that has been very slow in the past two years. The computer is still usable and I use it every day, but I want to fix the problem.

I thought that this could be a RAM problem, so I bought new Rams from different brands, but none of them worked (I read online that Apple computers can be a little picky when it comes to brands of RAM).

I am currently based in the Dominican Republic, where it is very difficult to find an Apple Retail Store or a person capable and authorized to perform a repair on my MacBook Pro. I'll be back in Italy in October, and I'll get assistance here. My question is: I think that my computer needs new RAM (I currently have installed 2x2gb and I would install 2 x 4 GB), but it is possible that there is something else I need to know? Maybe the problem somewhere else? I scanned the computer several times and nothing came. I would like to know if there is a way for me to make sure that the RAM is the real problem and not something else. I know that I am the owner of an old computer, but it never gave me any problems in addition to be very slow in the past two years. Sometimes it works perfectly, and sometimes it's almost impossible to do anything.

I enclose the screenshots that can be useful. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you

  • Information retrieval of dead macbook pro drive without purchase mac with the same amount of disc

I'm completely lost right now and honestly had a really bad time in the Mac store. I love Macs, the staff is usually great, but I ended up leaving enough frustrated after a few experiences of confusion with the sales guy myself.

So, I entered the mac store with a 2011 13 inch Macbook Pro which has got water damage. It turns out that it was $750 to fix and I decided that I would just get a new one. It was the hardest or disc information you can have, and I've had about 263 on 500 or something used. I want photos and documents to browse and choose what is important.

Then they assured me that they could extract the information and make a transfer with my computer, but I have to buy a laptop with the same amount of data - so that the Macbook Air for $1,500 instead of $1000 Macbook Air, I was going to learn how to do the transfer. They kept saying it's a case all or nothing-, they cannot choose the data from the hard drive, nor can they give it to me in a way that does not require a complete transfer of the computer and so a computer with a drive for.

Is it possible that I can do this by a third party? Or download the information from the hard drive on something other than a full computer...?  I honestly don't need, want or have the capability of the computer with the disc like means. I just need a computer for school and would like to stick with the Mac, and the hard drive more small $1000, that's what I can afford right now.

Thank you and sorry if it came out confused, I'm just really frustrated, I lost all my information to my own stupid mistake and cannot repair.

    p. s.

Nothing is saved on iCloud and I don't have Time Machine.

Remove the drive from the computer and install it in an external USB enclosure.

  • MacBook Pro locks up in Safari

The short problem is my MacBook Pro (end of 2013), and my co-workers 2011 MacBook Air have experienced two camera while Safari is running. Without warning of the shutdown of computers... the mouse still works, but text and clicking on do not work. It usually lasts a minute or two and the keyboard buffer works when he wakes up. Reboot also clears.

But this week my MacBook Pro locked and is stuck. Reset don't affect it. I would be left to the user with a mobile slider page and no clicks or keyboard function. The only change is the addition of a new Trackpad Apple replace my magic mouse.

I ' d up call apple support and after resetting the PR and a few other things, the collective decision was the computer had a software problem preventing us to solve using equipment. They suggested an Apple repair center. At that point I had to accept.

My wife asked the new trackpad... which at that time was off and I was using the cushion on the MacBook. She suggested trying the magic mouse, and when I turned it on I return control of the mouse. I have re-installed immediately OS - X and for about a day, I have not had any problems.

Then yesterday I had another episode of 30 second freeze.

Any ideas or suggestions?  I don't think it's material, or I wouldn't be typing this. I went a day now, after the last frost without any problem. But I would have preferred that they don't come back too.

    Thank you.

Safari/Preferences/Advanced - activate the menu to develop it, then go ahead and empty Caches. Quit/relaunch Safari and test. Then try Safari/history/Show History and remove all items from the history.  Quit/relaunch Safari and test. You can also try try Safari/Clear History... The downside is that it deletes all cookies.
