  I have a macbook pro, end 2011, which is locked with a password of the firmware, and I do not know. Are their any of you know how powerful hardware hacks, and no one knows a way of hacking the firmware lock? I tried to avoide paying someone to fix my machine and unlock the firmware, then I tried a lot of material tweeks likely to pass the lock of the firmware and unlock my computer. Please help and thanks in advance for all this you find to do it yourself Tech who would rather their firmware password reset themselves. Thank you.

  Remove the pop up scam.

  1. click  in the menu bar and select "force quit."

  In the window that opens, select "Safari" and click "leave power.

  2. restart Safari by holding down the SHIFT key.

I forgot the code and had several attempts trying to remember her and now I think I found it, but it won't let me put the code in another attempt. the message on the screen says 'wrong password. try again"but there is nowhere for me to try again. someone can help me. I tried to start upward into recovery mode, but she still needs the code for it, and when I get it it takes me to the screen locked again.

  I, too, am unable to lock my MacBook Pro with my Apple Watch. However I don't see the checkbox "Allow your Apple Watch unlock your Mac.". I checked it but I can not unlock my Mac with my Apple Watch.

  I have a brand new MacBook Pro (early 2015) with the latest updates of El Capitan 10.11.6. When after sleep, I go to a tab open in Safari with my iCalendar as the macbook freezes everything - mouse is active but nothing else. If it helps, I have a clip of newspapers.

  If I understand your post as your MacBook Pro crashes after waking it from sleep mode. I know how it is important for your MacBook Pro to run smoothly for you. I recommend the first restart your Mac in Mode safe and test it and then restart as usual and test again.

  Try safe mode if your Mac does not end commissioning

  Start in safe mode

  Follow these steps to start in safe mode.
  Start or restart your Mac.
  As soon as you hear the startup tone, hold down the SHIFT key.
  Release the SHIFT key when you see the logo Apple appears on the screen.

  The problem is most likely an attempt to update a system malfunction prior it is probably a problem with your computer, not the El Capitan.

  Start by:

  Reset the PRAM and NVRAM on your Mac.

  MacIntel: Reset of the controller (SMC) system management

  Start in Safe Mode , and then re - start normally. It's slower that a normal start, so be patient.

  If you are unable to start;

  Reinstall El Capitan without erasing the drive

  Please make sure that you back up.

  1. Restart the computer. Immediately after that the chime hold down the command and R until the Utility Menu appears.
  2. Select disk utility, then click on the continue button.
  3. Select the withdrawal (usually Macintosh HD) entry of the volume in the list aside.
  4. Click first aid icon in the toolbar. Wait until the button is active, then click it.
  5. Quit disk utility and re-enter the Utility Menu.
  6. Select Reinstall OS X and click on the continue button.

  If this doesn't get you;

  Install Yosemite or El Capitan, from scratch

  Backup if possible before proceeding.

  Click on the apply button, then wait for the done button to activate and click on it.

  Quit disk utility and re-enter the Utility Menu.

  Select reinstall OS X and click on the continue button.

  Test in safe mode, if it works back to the normal mode safe mode start-up to test again.

  Try safe mode if your Mac does not end commissioning - Apple Support

  Let us know if the problem occurs in mode without failure or even once after start in normal mode.

EACH application is slowed until almost uselessness, takes almost five minutes to wake up to the top/connect to wifi after sleep, a lot of problems with playback of streaming audio and audio itunes, making my virtually inaccessible whole itunes library. • The lock on a Macbook pro microphone gain?

  Hey all, I have a question that makes me mad and after a few long google search, I am still unable to find a solution. I use a mic boom (Yeti) and I need to put my low gain otherwise picks it up too much in my background. I use Slack and Join.me for work and it seems that many of these programs will hijack my sound settings, increase in my gain. Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do to no longer soft or Join.me because they do not have a way to disable the auto gain control *. I wish there really was a way to lock the gain system-level. Does anyone know of a solution, before you buy a DAC? I would consider even a paid app.

  * Although, even on the applications I want to disable automatic gain, my gain still seems to decrease or increase alone.

  I wasn't familiar with your microphone. but the research it upward. It would seem that it has built in gain control as well as for directional and omnidirectional. It is in the Mac operating system, in your Utilities folder an application called Setup Audio and Midi. You might look into Garage Band and upward on the app store. It's only $4.99.
