  Just bought a cartridge combo pack. All color cartridges three made the printer, but photoblack is smaller and the front is configured differently from the original cartridge and does not crack.   Recently introduced from PC to Mac.  No problem with the installation of the printer.  Can pull up to scan in the preview or the Image Capture, but not all the features seem to be present.  For example, I have no setting for several pages (i.e. 'add another page' which was available via the HP solution Center on the PC).   All I seem to be able to do is scan a page.  All them include printer drivers are up-to-date.  Help please!

  In the Image Capture, make sure you click on the "show details" at the bottom right.  From there on, set the type of file to PDF format, and select the checkbox "combine in a single document.

  HP Scan does not work with Photosmart 6510 wireless installation. I've deleted and reinstalled SW, SW, ran update doctor Scan and everything was reported OK.   Paul sent me the log files, and from there, we followed the question until for the binary file HPScan.exe incorrect compatibility settings.   This file is located either in your "program files (x 86) \hp\\bin" directory (for 64-bit systems), or "program files\hp\\bin" directory for 32-bit systems.   In the case of Paul, his EXE was created to ensure compatibility for XP, which caused the application to try to use WIA 1.0 on a 2.0 WIA (Windows 7) system support.    This caused the app to not to interview the drivers for supported resolutions/etc and so the drop-down list is empty in the implementation of the resolutions.

  If other people see empty resolution lists in our application, it might be useful to double check that your EXE is not set to XP compatibility.

  For the ninth time now, after that some updates from HP that I'm no longer able to use the scan function on the HP Photosmart Plus B209a-m all-in-One printer I've owned for more than two years now.  I tried all the things suggested the HP Support Assistant, including the feature troubleshooting and restarting.  So I took the next step in uninstalling the printer and put it back, eventually.  Or try to reinstall, it is.

  I had a Windows 7 HP laptop when I bought the printer, but now I have a newer HP laptop who initially missed out on Windows 8, but has recently been upgraded (?) to 8.1 Windows.  I was able to install the printer, after that I'm the new laptop under Windows 8.  But when I put the CD is no longer allows me now to proceed with the installation.  Of initial pop-up box tells me to click on 'Install', but the only available choice is "quit".  In addition, it has a red square with a white 'X' in the upper right corner of the popup box.  I have never seen that in any of the previous eight times I had to re - install the printer.

  So now what should I do?

  The original CD was manufactured before Windows 8 or 8.1 have been released, I would suggest downloading the recommended full 8.1 HP here windows driver.

• HP Photosmart Plus B209a-m stopped working with a Macbook, still works with others

  We had this printer wireless printing of 2 Macbooks a running OS X 10.8.2 and another OS x 10.6.8 without any problem for some time when it suddenly stopped working with the old Macbook running 10.6.8.

  When we tried to print anything in that nothing happened, when we open the print queue, there's an exclamation point to the left of the print job and to say an error message something about the levels ink (ink levels were very well as it print to the other Macbook without problem).  We tried the buttons pausing and resuming.  I can't provide exact errors that we had because now that we have tried to reinstall the drivers we get a new series of errors.

  We redownloaded the drivers for OS X 10.6 on HP website and tried to go through the HP setup assistant.  When we arrive at step 'Select printer' and he takes us into the preferences system to add a printer - our printer shows up, but when selected, we get the following error message: some of the software of the printer is missing.  You may not be able to print to "HP Photosmart Plus B209a-m" Please reinstall the printer. software - and of course, we are not able to print.

  We uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers several times without any effect.  The only way that we were able to print off the computer is if printer sharing is enabled on the other Macbook (with OS X 10.8.2).)  Then, it presents itself as a separate printer and can be used by the old Macbook only if the other is on.  This isn't how it was put in place when we had the two work before.

  Any advice would be appreciated.

  What router are you using?  I guess that the 10.8 machine can print correctly?

  Restart your Mac.

  Reset the printing system:

  -Go to System Preferences > print & Scan
  -Right (or control) click in the rectangle listing your printers and select Reset Printing System.
  WARNING - This will remove ALL your printers!

  I'm sorry that you are having problems with the printing of blank pages. It may be a problem with the print head. It needs to be cleaned or goes wrong.

  I just found out that "array elements or" does not work with a table 1 d of integer values. I didn't expect that.

  I did a semi quick forum search and did not find a pointer to an effective solution. Can someone give me a hint?

  Do not back my initial intention is to list all the values that appear in an array of integers.

  I thought that if I converted the figures for powers of 2 and or I had solved the problem at hand - only to discover that the elements of array does not.

  If someone could propose a different approach, I'd be happy too.

• Whenever I run Safari my fan comes at top speed and gets hot.  This does NOT happen with Firefox

  Since I upgraded to El Capitan, when I launch Safari, my fan is running hot, CPU goes into battery and use 100% drops quickly.  This does NOT happen with Firefox.

  Force Quit Safari and then restart Safari while holding down the SHIFT key. This will launch Safari without plugins or extensions. If works in Safari you have to remove all extensions you have installed and reinstall better one at a time until you find the offending Safari extension.
