• Error code 0 x 80070003 prevents the backup

  I have a new laptop but you cannot save the files. Get this message: "Backup has encountered a problem when saving the file: C:\Documents and settings\ReleaseEngineer.MACROVISION\Application Data." Error: (System does not find the specified path. (0 x 80070003) "when I try to locate the file myself I can not even find c:\documents and settings. Is this something new in the Windows 7 Explorer? I've read suggestions about scandisc etc. but it's a new laptop, so I shouldn't already have disk problems. Any suggestions? Please, be gentle, I'm not a techie. Thank you.

  This particular issue, we have identified the problems reported by other clients that their username is renamed to "releaseengineer" when installing one of the Macrovision software. Looks like it's the question that you are also running in. Can you pl. confirm if this is the problem?

  In order to avoid a backup failure, you can try excluding your backup profile (select "Let Me Choose" what to backup and then exclude your backup libraries). You can include the files that are part of the library directly by browsing the file system under the node 'Computer' in screen after that you "Let me choose" and click Next.

• My computer (Vista OS) install software on a CD/DVD. He seems to think that everything in the hard drive is photos or music.

  When I insert a software disc, automatic execution of Vista opens instead of the software installation tool. I set AutoPlay to run or install the software if it is what is on the disk, but not luck. (A single disc of software worked as it was supposed to on another computer.)

  I recommend removing a program called "Xplay" from Mediafour.
  Try this: 1. go to start, then Control Panel
  2. open "programs and features".
  3. scroll through the programs and see if you have the XPLAY under the title editor MACROVISION
  4 right click once a program to highlight, and then click "Uninstall/change" upward.
  5. (you may get a pop-up asking if it's OK continue.)  If so, click on "Allow")
  6. once the program is removed, you will need to restart your computer.
  
  
  Don't forget to back up your system before we do this just in case where. But it has been linked to a solution to this problem.

  I tried to load the software for a Microsoft mouse that I bought. When I loaded the CD in the drive, the Setup program did not start. When I looked at the content of the CD, it wasn't a setup.exe file. Tonight I tried to load TurboTax, and I'm having the same problem. I put the disc in a XP machine, the installation program starts right up and I see the installation files in Windows Explorer. I can't install it to work on my Vista computer.  When I right click on the drive, I don't get the option to install or run the program.   Well, I am the furthest thing from a computer Wizard but I came across the solution to my problem and kklinger.  I recommend removing a program called "Xplay" from Mediafour.  There seems to be a MAC program and is the reason that the autorun is not complete.  Try this: 1. go to start, then Control Panel
  2. open "programs and features".

  Hello everyone

  I noticed that when I install 4.7 Desktop software on my 32 bit Vista computer when it reboot takes forever to load up on the desktop.

  I timed it actually from the first second I saw 'loading' or the 'Vista progress bar"to point type me my password til time I first start see things load on my desk

  3 minutes +.

  If I go into services.msc and disable the following:

  CyberLink

  Roxio upnp renderer 9
  Roxio 9 upnp Server
  LiveShare p2p Server 9
  roxmediadb9
  Roxio 9 hard driver watcher

  And restart the computer, the system takes much less time to load up.

  So, if I had to re activate these and try to load the media within the Desktop Software Manager it acutally does not load.

  Am I missing something? Is there another service that I need to start?

  It works very well after a new installation, but if I disable these features, restart and then re enable it doesn't load at all.

  So I'm curious what is the work around? BlackBerry told one install and re install but seriously who takes a long time and is a concern.

  Here's another puzzle for you game.

  I know that I have photos and videos in my media (8gig) card I can see right now on my cell phone if I wanted to, it's there.

  However when I plug in my desktop PC I can not find them

  USB automatically a 'portable' under my computer called Blackberry 9530, if I double click on it, it gives me 2 options: Media Card or memory of the device. If I click on Media Card is the only music folder which is ok, but where are the photos?  It is not in any way I can them through the photos using the built in mass media; less I can't find here; That's why I thought I'd use Desktop Manager 4.7 and the media option but because of computer load time slow, I disabled stuff and it does not load on re that allows him.

  I had the same problem with my iCloud account notes. What I did to fix it was to stop the synchronization of notes in the account settings and remove them from the phone, then went to notes, and it does not plant.
