Mail freeze

Hello

I've recently been clear a lot of old emails from my Yahoo using Mail account. Since I trashed these emails, mail seems to have become constipated and is there, doing nothing. Only simple text send an email and then at the bottom left there is a message that says it's the download of messages and then glue on 7kb. It is as if he has a backlog of orders that he cannot disengage. Any suggestions how can I purge old emails and retrieve courier normally delivery process? Thank you

Yes, it's a problem known and recognized with no simple solution. Some have managed to enter their settings, safari and disabling javascript. For others, the best "fix" is simply use another browser until Apple releases an update.

Regarding mail, you simply can't click links in your mail using the apple mail application.

  • E-mail freezes with black horizontal line

When I open a message in Mac Mail, the screen freezes without a menu bar and a horizontal black line of 1 inch covers the message. I had to force a shutdown. At reboot I restarted / mail, even enamel was still open and froze the screen once again, so I had to reboot again. I am running Yosemite 10.10.5 on a MacBook Pro 15 inch since mid-2010 with a processor Intel Core i5 2.4 GHz and 4 GB of memory. Any ideas on what to do?

Make a backup, preferably 2 on 2 separate drives.

    Exit the Mail.

Go to Finder and select your user folder. With this Finder window as the windshield, select Finder/display/display options for presenting or order - J.  When the display options opens, check "show the library folder. This should make your visible user library folder in your user folder. Go to Library/Containers/com.apple.mail.  Move the folder com.apple.mail on your desktop. You must move the entire folder, not just the content.

Reboot, re-launch Mail and test. If the problem is resolved, recreate the required e-mail settings and import emails you want to save to the folder on the desktop. You can then put the file in the trash. If the problem persists, return the folder where you have guessed replacing one that is there.

If he does not repeat the above using Containers/com.apple.MailServiceAgent.

  • Thunderbird 38.2.0 does not check for incoming mail, freezing

I used Thunderbird for years without problem. Update 38.2.0 was so bad for me that I had to uninstall it. Questions:

    (1) would not check for incoming mail
    (2) popped up the windows of information that had no text and even not closing "x" in the corner (although I could click the right superior whiteness and she closed)
    (3) screen would freeze. At least the closing 'x' still - working but it's the only thing that makes.

Every update I've ever had until this has been perfectly integrated. This one was painful.

My question is when there's an update to correct these problems?

Please update to version 38.3.0 which came out today. Will probably solve your problem.

    Is this better?

  • iOS 9.3 - Safari/Mail freezes after clicking links on iPhone 6s

    Hello

Never had any problems with my iPhone 6. Just upgraded to iOS 9.3 without any problem. After the upgrade, I can't click on links when you search something on Google in Safari or by clicking on a link in the E-mail, the apps just freeze.

I tried to wipe data/cache of Safari history, close all applications and restart the phone (ordinary and now the two key power-house), by disabling form of all sorts of settings settings of Safari, but no luck... Anyone with an idea how to sort?

I have the same problem with Safari, mail and messages. The links work with the app gmail links work in Chrome, but only with a long click to get the option to open in a new tab. It seems that this already happened with 9.2.1 but I couldn't find an answer that solved the problem. I don't think that has begun until 24 hours after the update. iPhone 6 s + 128 GB 9.3.

    1. have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

    2. do you get any error code or error message?

  • Cannot send mail, windows live mail freezes

    Hello

We have problems with our Windows Live Mail. We could no longer send an email as soon as there is an unsent mail stuck in the Outbox.

    Here's the scenario:

-the network connection was cut when sending e-mail process is underway
-After the connection has been restored, we opened/edited the mail on hold is located in the Outbox, and then send.

Result: the mail will not be sent. When you click on the "Send/receive" button, the status bar freezes.

When we try to stop/exit the Windows Live Mail, the display is closed.
But the process (wmail.exe) and the taskbar icon will not be closed.

  • Windows Live Mail freezes / crashes if I try to use the sections of then only connected to Windows Live Mail CONTACTS

I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate x 64. I use applications of windows live with the exception of 'family safety' (which is not currently installed).
All applications work well except for Live Mail which freezes when I'm connected and click contacts.
No problem sending, receipt or writing emails. No problem adding contacts to an email (even if I am connected to Live).
Simply, it freezes when I'm connected and click on the option of the application contacts. Or if I am in touch and then sign in to Windows Live.

I did a repair of all windows Live products. I also followed another troubleshooting tutorial and changed the name of the folder 'contacts' to allow Live Mail re - sync contacts when I signed up again. None of these worked.

I would prefer not to have to re - install the app altogether if it can be avoided.

    Any help is very appreciated!

  • Freezing live mail

Live Mail freezes and won't do anything.  Works sometimes and then does not, even after re-booting.  Never know if I will be able to access the emails.  Recently started to do this week.  Update conflict? Any ideas?  (Windows 7).

With these meager details in the description of your problem, it is difficult to say. However, many people have experienced various problems after installing the recent platform for W7 update, which is a prerequisite for the upgrade to IE10. Go to control panel > Windows Update and click on installed updates. If you have KB2670838 installed, use the Uninstall button and then restart the computer. Your WLMail problems disappear?

If they do, what is the make and model of your computer and its graphics card? Have you checked on the Web sites of the two manufacturers for updated display drivers?

  • Yahoo! Mail goes down, Firefox 36 - what is the promlem?

I use Firefox as my preferred browser. I have been using 35 and recently upgraded Firefox to day to 36. Yahoo! Mail is my email provider. Every day, for weeks, when I boot first of all my computer, when I open Yahoo! Mail and connection, Yahoo! Mail freezes. For his release, I've pressed CTRL and ALT, and then press DELETE, more than once, to go to the screen where I can choose to enter in the Manager of tasks. Instead, when I click on CANCEL, Yahoo! Mail thaws. This only occurs when I start the computer and try to connect to Yahoo! Mail fees.

I have read suggestions Firefox and Yahoo! to eliminate what could be causing problem: empty the cache, delete cookies, disabling modules, temporarily disable the anti-virus software (I use AVG), etc... None of them have worked. I read the two Firefox Solver of problems and comments from problem solver Yahoo! saying the problem it's the other service. I see that others who use IE, Chrome and Safari have had similar problems with Yahoo! Mail.

I'm tired of this. What can be done to fix this? I've also posted my problem for Yahoo! Mail issues.

Problem with Firefox and Yahoo. Mail seems to be fixed. What I did:

After looking at other sites forums and help for what might solve my problem, I picked up on a suggestion: update the display driver graphic for my computer.

NOTE: before I did it all downloading something again, I created a System Restore Point, so that I could "undo" any update. If someone does not know how to save time and space, I will not write the steps. I recommend that you learn to do this 1.

I did this and downloaded a driver updated for my peripheral view graphics.

I will not go into the steps to do it here. I created a system restore point, 1. Then, I got the updated driver on the website of the supplier of the device driver of my computer, AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) graph display.

For all those who wish to update their graphic display device and who does not know how to go on this issue, I suggest you go to what I consider a reputable computer help forum web site, MajorGeeks.com. (See more info on MajorGeeks.com below).

After I downloaded and installed an updated for my peripheral graphics display driver, I've wound up my computer and turn it off. I rebooted to see if I had on it, is no longer the problem as I said above in my initial post. I still had the problem. Dang!

But then, I thought that perhaps the problem was with my setting of Cookies for Firefox. Before I had updated the graphic display device driver, one of the many attempts I made to solve the problem was that I changed my privacy settings of Firefox so that I always accepted Cookies from third party sites. Changing the setting to accept Cookies only from Sites you visited. Make that change does not appear to fix the problem, either, so I reset the Cookies affecting only accept Cookies from Sites visited.

With my graphics display device driver update, I have now returned to Options (click Tools) for Firefox and in the parameters of confidentiality, has chosen
Always to accept third party Cookies.

Then, I liquidated and and restart my computer to see if the change of Cookies made the difference.

Now, I don't have the problem, just after my computer starts and after you have connected to the Internet, when I first opened up Firefox and go to Yahoo! Mail. The connection full of Y! M is not instantaneous, however. I counted about 20 seconds (1 and 2 and 3 and...) before the full Yahoo! Mail opens and he 'unlock'

Note: I have my Firefox to delete all cookies when I close Firefox. I suspect some of the slow initial start and connecting of Yahoo! Mail has to do with Cookies being deleted when I closed Firefox and shut down my computer.

  • IOS 9.3 - new edition

I just spend an hour on the phone with Apple on what appears to be a new show with 9.3.  My problem is that no matter what link in an email (I use Apple Mail) freezes the e-mail together on my new program 6 iPhone and my iPad Pro Plus.  Everyone knows this?

They tried first to say that it was due to a problem with Bookings.com, but I've never used, its application or Web site.  After an hour to explain and demonstrate, they have become sensitive, but could not identify the problem and sent it to engineering.

In the meantime, my devices are quite crippled.

    Fellow sufferers?

Randy, this is a problem known and surprised the support team did not recognize this in your appeal. His current summer since the introduction of the 9.2.1. It also affects Safari. Its been suggested it could be related to an upgrade on the booking.com approx. Unfortunately removing the application does not remove the problem. It seems possible that my wife iPad and iPhone 6 are not affected and it has no app booking.com.

I have exactly the same problem and just to log a support call where the guy quickly told me that it is a problem to know that Apple is working on. He expected a resolution in a few hours - at this point, I laughed and pointed out the problem is known since March 22 and there is still no resolution. I asked what they will do if I call tomorrow if it is not fixed. No answer to that.

A potential solution for safari is to disable javascript. When the support guy suggested that for me I pointed, I already did, and he actually stopped me using the apple community support web site because it depends on a lot of javascript - not a workaround useful as too many sites use.

I suggest you remember and if your devices are still subject to the support, ask them to replace them with something that works
