Main difference between report scripts and calculation scripts?

What is the difference between a calculation script and a script to report?
THX in advance

Kind regards
SG

It makes no sense comparing the report scripts and scripts of calculation.
Report of the scripts are used to extract data for the needs of data flow down or needs statement.
Calculation scripts are useful for managing business and process required for any application rules.

If you want the main difference between the Excel add-in and smartview I'd say it's just they way it connects and retrieves the data. the add-in uses the grid api and tcpip and smartview uses java on the web. There are a ton of differences between the supplement and smartview, but as the versions come thay are close. Here are a few others can add to the list:

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------Add-in------------------------------smartview
works on several office products - no - yes
    Can connect to
    Essbase-----------------------------------------------------------No---------------------------------------Yes
    HFM----------------------------------------------------------------No---------------------------------------Yes
    Planning----------------------------------------------------------No---------------------------------------Yes
Can view members and aliases at once - Yes - No
Leaf specific options - Yes - No
Great shims formatting - Yes - sometimes

  • What is the main difference between windows 7 and windows 8?

    Please guide

Overall, it is difficult to put into one solid answer.  There is a lot of changes to the OS and many elements are moved, updated, etc.  A lot of added support for touch, etc.

Tech radar has a comparison nice overview of WIndows 7 vs WIndows 8 that at least gives you a quick advantage of some changes, but is by no means exhaustive.

In addition, there are also the new 'Windows RT"that can sometimes add to the confusion.

TO try to help a bit here is a nice article Comparing WIndows 8 and Windows RT.

  • difference between control flow and check knowledge module

    Hello

I know ckm and flow control. What is the main difference between the Frother and CKM?

CKM is the model of knowledge that ODI will use to check all the constraints you create.

Flow control is the way to a check constraint during the flow of an interface (it's way happens to you in your integration tables [temporary]). This method deletes the data of 'bad' and it will record in a table of $ E. Also, you have some option to recycle errors (next ODI run will try to reuse these data)

Static control is another way to check your constraints. This is static as its name suggests and is average, it will only count the errors, but it won't do anything with the data. It might happens in the source tables.

The most used method is the regulator of throughput with certainty, but static electricity has some advantages too.

For example, flow control has only a little when you check duplicate data. When he found it eliminated the two registry (or more if there are more). It's average, you get nothing in the end.

You can use the static control to check your sorce tables and create a process to eliminate or filter duplicate data, allowing only data duplicated to cross.

    Hope this can help you.

  • Differences between (interactive) PDF and PDF (Print)

What are the main differences between (Interactive) PDF and PDF (Print)?
Now, it seems to me that (Interactive) PDF is a limited version of PDF (Print).

Links to read on this subject?

    Thank you in advance,
    Feldmayer

They are really two different options of the same thing.

A PDF print can be interactive and interactive PDF can go to print.

It really depends on content and distribution.

If a PDF will print, often has no need to keep one of the aspects of a PDF interactive (and PDF printing is not likely to have videos, etc..)

If a PDF file is intended to be interactive, it is usually intended to be distributed via the web or by email, in order to keep pictures high resolution is not necessary.

There is a bit of compromise.

I used to keep the interactive bookmarks in a print file, but not always.

  • difference between the hyperion and reports hyperion financial

    Hi all

What is the difference between the hyperion and reports financial hyperion?

Hyperion reports was the name of the version 9 of pre, now it's Oracle Hyperion Financial Reporting, edition of Fusion.

If you are looking at the differences between the versions, there have not been major improvements, but here are the most recent: lot of bursting for schedules, increased the Annotations of options, best connectivity SAP BW, MS AS, formatting.

Your other source of info is new files of the Readme files / what doc library:
