  When you look at the version on a content server you see for example build v5.3 3529.

  But the software versions are marked: v5.3.0, v5.3.1, v5.3.2.

  I don't know why they changed the version posted on the content server to use the main exit S5.3 and then the build number, but still the free software download you is different.  I can say that S5.3 build 3529 is F5.3.2, do not know what other build numbers are however for S5.3 and S5.3.1.

  I am facing the error when I open my ADF UI below. I had installed all the required patches on weblogic ADFUI and MLR - 6 patch for COE. It's the same error discussed in this thread - required feature is not enabled on the content server instance 'Default' WebCenter Feature: 'FrameworkFolders', at least level: 2.1 but I think have everything installed the patched. Y at - it a particular fix that brings FrameworkFolder from 2.0 to 2.1.

  I assume that you missed this step:

  1. after changing properties of connection CRMI - save

  Now comes the key:

  2. Select the bean Select viz ADFConnections - operations - parent. Here, select Invoke.

  The action is logged and persistent changes to the MDS repository on successfully executing step 2, otherwise the changes will not be saved and will be reset to restart the server after original values.

  Now restart the servers of the ADF managed, test and report the results.

  I have an installation of WebCenter Sites on a CentOS server with Weblogic application server. Is connected to a database of 12 c of Oracle database.

  I do deploy automatically on the server through a shell script which is called by Jenkins.

  He liked to set up something similar to that described in the Oracle documentation .

  Hello

  To reinstall, you will first need to uninstall the Sites and then re-run Setup.

  To uninstall, you will need to:

  1. Cancel the deployment of CS and case applications
  2. Remove the installation directory
  3. Remove the shared directory
  4. Delete the directory (i.e. CS and CA applications) manual-deploy
  5. Remove Sites (or just drop and recreate the schema).

• Remove the Error Messages in the content server

  Hi all

  In the model of my area, I'm running the code that determines if a file with a given content ID exists in the content server. The code works well, and the template renders as I expect. However, whenever I load the page, I get an error message in the content server if a file does not exist.

  Here is the code I'm running inside my model that checks for the existence of the file.

  Can I wrap this code in that would eliminate all errors that can see the content server? Obviously, I like to keep logging turned on, but I'm a bit of a "boy who cried wolf" situation going on right now in my logs.

  In fact, I changed my IdocScript to use a different Service, GET_SEARCH_RESULTS. This Service does not throw an error if the query fails, then it will not obstruct my logs. Here is my code if someone else is looking for a quick solution of the IdocScript test if a content item exists or not.

  This is probably a rather unorthodox solution, but the simplicity of IdocScript really shines when you realize how functionally private it really is.

• Removal of the structures while maintaining the content

  Hello.

  I have a case with two case structure.  I have now decided that a case is not necessary.  I deleted the content of the case.  Is it possible for me to remove the case structure while preserving the content of the good deal as the only remaining code?  I am aware of the ability to cut the right code, the removal of the structure and then repasting the right code in the empty space; However, I am a bit hesitant to do so because of the possibility of losing some connections.

  Making the case that you want to keep visible, right-click in the structure and select 'delete case Structure '.

• Color change of Type Master while maintaining the content

  I am trying to set up a document now which has a number of footer and page along the bottom. This is defined in a master page and lets say that the type is black. Sometimes the footer will be on a dark image and I would like to change it to white. I can replace the footer and change the color but it will no longer update the content if I change it in the master. I keeps all the properties of the text such as postion frame but none of the actuall type parameters.

  Is it far from having master type with different colors?

  If your version of InDesign supports text variables, then you can set up and name a variable that contains the text to your footer. Then, you can add this variable to master pages and format everything as you want on each master.

  Change all instances of the footer on all master pages just need to edit the text in the Panel text Variable.

  Is possible to get the content of the document is the check-in through Java? Assuming I want to have a component that performs an action on the current archived document until the document is checked in. Is it possible to read the content of the document?

  So, I must conclude that there is no general/summary way of reading the document being check-in that does not take into account the underlying structure that keeps the files of the CS (vault or DB)?

  Upon check-in, I believe, there is not. Perhaps, unless you use folders and WebDAV protocol.
  DB is not an option - FileStore provider first stores the files in the vault of the CS (among other reasons to make the conversions of BOVINE infectious rhinotraecheitis) where they could be stored in the database and subsequently removed from the vault.

  Later, you can use, of course, web service call or http link.

  This time, you'll have to explain what exactly you did when you say "archived and exported." Steve H. does point out many different methods archives here:

  Again, I think you should hit the books and to understand what exactly are the expected behavior of your attempts. If you use only the FolderArchiver, then you will only move the folder structure. The content will not be moved as well. The documentation covers a number of migration & replication (docs related to the above article) strategies.

  For your descriptive case, you need to move files & content at the same time.

  I'm not sure of the home page, but maybe the ExtranetLook component has been activated? I think that this affects the page portal.htm as well as a few other basic behaviors. If this is the case, Please remember to read the description of all components (on the page of the component to the server admin & in the docs). Enabling unnecessary components can cause some events that are not easy to remove.

• Adding additional drives to the content server

  I intend to order the model of the device of the TCS (TCS-C220- PROBUN-K9).  But the condition is to have more than 2 TB of Hard drive in this server.  Model of the device comes with 600 GB of hard drive capacity (2 x 600 GB in RAID 1).  I would add 6 slots to over 600 GB hard drives that there are 6 free on the server.  Is this possible.  If so, may I know the part number for the HARD drive.  Thanks in advance.

  Although you are able to do this, it is not a supported Cisco configuration.

  The way to achieve additional storage available for a content server is to store the data on the external NAS.

  Refer to the section Setting Up Media external storage of Executive Guide.

  The only service which is (should be) directly facing the end user is the runtime.  Packaging is used to add books to your content server, Admin is used for the management - these two must be behind your firewall.

• VPN connection to access the content server on the HTTP port only

  We have ASA5520, and we want to set up an IPSEC VPN profile so that one of our partners can access a server and only on the HTTP port.

  I tried to Configure tunneling split with an extended ACL, but probably I'm missing something. I just set up the ACL so that it included all source IP of our server on the HTTP port, but when testing, it did not work.

  However, if I configure a Standard ACL on the split tunneling I can access the server and all services it provides.

  Do you know if Miss me anything on the extended ACL configuration?

  Should I configure it any other way?
