Major newbie here - problems video editing on dvd that was burned to a dvd recorder

First of all, let me say that I know ZERO about Premiere Pro or video editing. The first time I opened the program was last week and it took me about an hour to find a way to establish a chart / title of someone on a video given to me.

It's the second time I open the program, and I don't know what to do.

First: I'm on CC 2015 and have a Mac running OS X 10.10.4.

Now my problem: I was given a DVD that someone burned for a one hour event registration. When I insert the dvd on my computer it DVD Player automatically opens and will play the event to one hour in full transparency.

When I opened the DVD content, files is divided as follows:

-VIDEO_TS. BUP

-VIDEO_TS. IFO

-VIDEO_TS. VOB

-VTS_01_0.BUP

-VTS_01_0.IFO

-VTS_01_1.VOB

-VTS_01_2.VOB

-VTS_01_3.VOB

-VTS_01_4.VOB

-VTS_01_5.VOB

I can import the five videos in the project and put one after the other in the right editing box where the video clips all are, but the transition from one clip to another is very glitchy.

All I'm trying to do is finish the video for an hour or final clip about 45 seconds more earlier than that it actually ends because they have managed to save on another event, so the tail which appears at the end of this video. Any ideas on how I can extract the entire video, a time of DVD or make the transition from five clips as transparent as it is when I just read the DVD in a DVD player and don't try and change it?

Thanks for any info!

How can I solve this problem? I tried everything I could think of. I deleted my cookies (and Add-ons), re-installed Adobe Flash Player and nothing works.

What browser are you using IE or Firefox or others?  Sometimes special versions of Flash are required for browsers, and besides, IE 64-bit does not support modules including Flash, she, that is to say, it takes the 32-bit version, even on a 64-bit machine.

Take a look at IE / tools / manage add-ons and make sure that 'Shockwave Flash Object' is enabled.

Check that you downloaded the correct version in the first place.

  • Please help newbie with basic video editing question

Thanks for the research.  I just bought Adobe first Elements 9 and I'm working on my first project.  All of the videos that I imported for this project were shot on 8mm tape, and they all have a small band at the bottom that shows nothing but the noise or static.  Other that that, they seem to be good.

Is there a way I can cut the bottom out of these YouTube videos in my production?  Like the place a frame around the video that hides the bottom 1/2 inch of video or so?

    Thank you!

It's the small space of the transition between the images on the tape does not correctly positioned in the vertical removal interval.

On some VCRs, there is a setting of framing, but probably not on your camera.

He normally sees not on old televisions analog because they overscan but flat sacreens now usually show the full frame.

You can hide in PE9 making the whole slightly larger photo and moving ot slightly downwards.

Click on the preview area, and you will see a white rectangle with dots in the corners.

Drag these points around and down to increase the size of the whole image and move the image down so the noise is hidden.

This will make the image a little more blurry so if you want to keep the same, you can insert a black mask or effect of crops to the place, but it will not show in your finished product. Looking for help with this.

What software did you use to create the DVD?

You need DVD creation software to create a video DVD

  • How can you fix audio sync problems when editing DVD of imemories

What format files are imemories give you? You can do a scan with the free utilities GSpot or MediaInfo (Google for download source) and post their results here.

The smallest unit by which you can manually adjust the audio track in the MEADOW is a single image. To do this, you right-click the track and loosing audio / video, then do drag the left/right audio if necessary (or use the shortcut (Adobe Premiere elements 11 * using default shortcuts) to shift the).

I am sure that many users do not know the difference. For this reason (do not earn points, really) I would ask mark you this thread as answered. There is no so many questions on all video editor, for some reason (I have my ideas on these reasons). And it's very important to know that you have to add and synchronize static objects in the video editor, even for a dia cpvc which is inserted into a cptx file, because when you insert these objects into the workflow normal editing for cptx-slides, they will never show upward because the video is still on top. When the thread is marked as replied, hope more people with similar problems will find.

If you're running Vista Home Premium or Ultimate, you can
be able to import files into Movie Maker directly from the
DVD... the files you want are in the VIDEO_TS folder and have
    a VOB extension.

First... just try to rename one of the. VOB files to

If import works... drag the file to the timeline and

    Thank you

try to drag the vob files from the dvd to your hard drive and you can rename it with an extension "mpg" and then put in the editor.

PS... as the files are highly compressed mpeg 2. 'display'.to only... they are perhaps not so great for 'Edit'... not intended to be edited... but that's another question

  • iMovie video editing problem.

I really need help, well my iMovie trying to edit and cut the clips I want, the music video for hole lighting in yellow music video for hole. It won't let me choose parts of the video clips that I need.

I have to start from the beginning of the video clip and then do scroll down to the end of the video clip making the yellow light mounting bar high to the point where I want to stop at.

Can anyone please help me because I want to return to normal to where I can just take my starting point in the clip video editing I want but it keeps on high clip the entire video of light yellow

I also uninstalled the program and installed back but he continues to do

Another thing to is that my video with cutting parts not work either when I try to highlight the parts I want to cut out.

Do you mean that it highlights the full clip in the browser before drag you it into your project? I don't think that there is a way to choose a starting point there but if slide you in your project, you can find the place you want to cut, and then select the command-B (Split clip). This he divided into two parts and you can remove the part you want.

  • Adobe does not recognize my videos downloaded and unable to copy/burn the videos that I downloaded on DVD

I have Windows XP on my computer. I have a video recorder of the Samsung SMX-F40RN model. The VCR comes with its own program download (intelli-studio software). So I downloaded the video and then tried to watch it. Adobe would not have left me-says he not a file supported, or it has been damaged. So I tried the windows media player, which plays, but it doesn't have the highest quality. My main goal is to get the video on a DVD so that I can stored on two different backgrounds. When I select the copy of a windows CD educated upward and says he has encountered a problem. I'm stuck on where to go now with the problem. I'm totally amature to this and this is my first time trying the download. Any information will help you. Thank you

    Ok.

Samusungs site is _, not much help, but here is what it says on your video

    • H.264 recording format

      H.264 recording format

Compression standard used by a camcorder to encode the video. H.264 HD is used by Blu - Ray and YouTube.

    • Website TV Superfine, fine, normal TV, TV Web Fine, normal recording quality
    • Recording resolution 720 x 480

      Recording resolution 720 x 480

Number of pixels horizontally and vertically in which is used to capture video. More pixels, the image is the sharpest.

    • 1600 x 1200 Pixels
    • 44.1 kHz sampling frequency

It uses a highly compressed but good quality of video H.264 video format, what version of movie maker start do not support.

He then gives 5 recording qualities

video resolution 720 x 480 is def standard ntsc format picture.

why he says then 1600 x 1200 is an assumption, I think he's now talking about stills and 44.1 kHz speaks now of the audio.

Depends on what you are viewing to in wmp, if you have a decent monitor say at a resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixel, then 720 x 480 will look worse in full-screen size, it should look better if you look at it in a small window.

As I can't know, but expect that it pulls like an interlaced image, your monitor is not interlaced so it will look worse because of that.

To use movie maker to edit, you must convert your file into a wmv file, use something like SUPER

    http://www.myvideoproblems.com/webpages/UsefulProgrammes.htm

Then you need a dvd authoring app to make your dvd, you might have one, check on your pc.

The same goes for adobe, I don't know why it doesn't work, what version number you have, what items or the entire program?  Often, this would have a dvd authoring application included.
