  In your efforts, you mention in step #6 you save the file as a PDF secure. Applied security files cannot be previewed to the customer, that's why you get the message "cannot preview filetype please download the file for display.   The hover behavior you report is expected.   I got about 20 discs hard stuff firewire.  Recently had a fire, here, with no drastic results, but it scares me.

  Is there a safe way to save these readers to the ether?

  I understand that different save sets break files into pieces.  I can't imagine how it works for files video and comps.

  If it's really important, you might have more luck finding a local storage / archival or some members of the family to another House and store some backup disks with them. I don't think that the storage of online backups is a viable alternative for the amount of data we are talking about. It will cost you a lot of money, you don't get those gigabytes for free anywhere and the downloads are hairy. you are also still at risk of the supplier goes out of business or deleting your files for some reason any. Directly related to fire-related damage, you can also consider a steel tempered light Cabinet / Treasury Board. But as with all the other stuff, it should always weigh the cost against the risk of a fire happening or any other damage that occur... ultimately, it may not be worth and fees, if you cannot deduct as a business investment.

  I can't get rid of unexpected behavior in my BPEL process. Until two days ago the BPEL file adapter was successfully to query for files and reading, now all of a sudden the files are not read. However, the BPEL process is active.
  Also, I just finished writing the last piece for the main BPEL process, in which a file out (csv) is supposed to be written. The file for writing adapter is do invoke successfully as well as the processing activity is happening, but I don't see the file in the directory specified in the UNIX system?

  Don't know why your psd files get flattened, maybe your using an older version of gimp, but gimp 2.8.16 you can save (file > export as) a file in psd (photoshop, image) and keep the layers even when opened in photoshop.

  Of course, not all perfect like layer groups and such, carries like photoshop files saved from photoshop are not translated perfect in gimp.

  I don't think its realistic to expect photoshop to be able to edit files in gimp without some roadblocks, nor I would expect gimp to edit files photoshop without a few problems.

The icon indicates sound, recorded as a project. 2 073 KB, but when I click it, it says "Windows Movie Maker cannot open this file" EVEN after uninstalling the Codec. I also have another version saved on my desktop in addition to my external hard drive, which gives me the same problem! Help, please!
