• Can I lock the marquee tool to make the only rectangles?

  Correction: Based on the M key is changing your selection Rectangle rectangle, ellipse, then you should go to Edit > Preferences > General and tick "use Shift key for tool switch."

  Here are the instructions in the first post with an extension of 3):

  (1) create the circle with the width desired form of weight of the race;

  (2) create a V-shaped path with two segments on top of the circle where the first gap should be, longitudinally extending outside the race of the circle and with a weight of race for the gap;

  (3) copy and place in order to have all forms of V where you want the gaps; You can do that by rotating round copies in the center of the circle 1), this can be done in different ways, one being to create a concentric circle of the auxiliary that extends beyond the V shape and rotation of the copies of the V shape using the object and which > transform > Rotate and insert the desired values and then remove the auxiliary circles;

  (4) select all and object > path > Outline Stroke.

  (5) pathfinder > before (subtraction of ares of form in older versions, perhaps by pressing Alt/Option to extend).

  I have a few circles (13), they are connected to the lines (a line from the center of a circle to the center of the next one, so 13 connecting lines). I need to move the circles to create the appearance that suits me better, but I want the end connection to go together (see photo below). I need to do it often and get immediate visual feedback. How can I do? I use the software wrong altogether?

  Use the direct Selection (white arrow) tool to draw a rectangle around the circle which also includes the anchor point or line, and then drag to the new location.

• How can I make the text forward and backward instead of just turning in a circle?

  Hello! I'm on After Effects text animation and somehow I was able to make my text go forward and back (a bit like a sign that blows in the Breeze) for my first word, but now I'm not able to find this option more. Does anyone know how to make this happen? I thought that's the direction that I think is supposed to happen when you use the rotation mode but all I have is the ability to rotate. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!

  There is also an option to set the path to a text layer (Adobe programmers - why not the forms too?)

  It consists of a circle, another smaller circle inside it (which contains text) and an image at the Center.

  I want to make the bottom of the space between the two circles (behind text) of color.

  But when I use the live paint, it will fill all - covering the text and the image.

  In this case, it's pretty simple: you need not direct paint at all. Instead, just make a compound path of the two circles. Object > compound path > make

  You may need to release the object of direct painting first. Object > live paint > release

  You could also try and fill the inner part of your live paint object with 'None '.

  Im trying to create a logo that I saw on a video - youtube logo requires paths that intersect circles 7 below for the generator of form of extract (inner triangular form) - however - I can't highlight the areas between the circles as the paths are not cut - when I really zoom in and move a circle up others move out of sync - and also - I can not move the things in detail using the arrow keys - everything seems to align with something - I turned of clicks in the transformation Panel but that solves nothing - I can reproduce the logo after many trials - surely there must be a quick way to get these interactions do - any advice would be welcome because it is a useful skill that tutorials don't seem to be enough to develop.

  Detection of space is an option inside the live paint. You'll need when the work is not really accurate (or Illustrator just feels as if your work is not perfect).

  ColliderScribe also has an option of gap, but it is something completely different.

  Now, I used illustrator for a long period of time. Recently, I bought Adobe CC. Had no problems with it so far.

  It's like that. When I try to make a circle (or, square, line or other forms) Illustrator made lots and lots of other circles it contains.

  As soon as I click on the page until I release my mouse, it retains in circles. (see photo)

  I have really no idea whatsoever how to cancel it. I used Illiustrator before CC for another project, and it worked fine. Now, however, is not.

  Can someone help me out here? I paid projects to offer, and I really need this to work really soon...

• Make a circle that is not filled in

  I want to know if there is a quick way to make a circle that is not filled. The ways I've been finding online have too many steps. An example would be to make a circle selection then right click and go to the menu of stoke. Is there any way to just drag a circle as you would with the Ellipse tool not filled. Even Microsoft Paint has this ability, so there must be a way to do this in Photoshop (I guess). You might think that making a circle of selection and enter the menu of stoke is not very many steps. True, but when you want to do a lot of circles that are not filled, it becomes really annoying that way. Is there a parameter with the Ellipse tool to make it not filled?

  It's a difference, what version of Photoshop you use, but the best way is also be a quick and easy access, and who has using elliptical shape tool.  Hold down the SHIFT key to force the roundness and once completed, give it a stroke but no fill in the options bar.  Note that filling the red line through it.  It's CC and other versions will be different.

  

  I said that it was also the 'best' way to do it.  Try to drag a circle with the elliptical selection tool and make a work path by clicking on the icon at the bottom of the Trace Panel.  Now zoom in directly on your work path 'cycle', see how compromise it is.  This is somewhat simplistic as test, but I believe it must be meaningful and depend largely on the number of pixels.  That is, an image low resolution will produce a bad circle with the elliptical selection tool, because it must follow the available pixels.  The elliptical shape tool, on the other hand, is a vector object and not retained by pixel.  All good things to keep in the Photoshop Toolbox in your head.

  I drew a circle with no fill on the inside, to show where will be the location of my storm of Highway culvert.

  I changed the thickness of the outer line of my circle by creating an edge to options merge → → STROKE layer effect; then I changed the thickness of the line by right-clicking in the race to the layers panel and then choose "scale effect".
  

  But the problem I have is that the outer line is gray, and I want it to be black.
  

  The outer line was originally red then I changed my image → grayscale, because I couldn't find a way to change the color while keeping my image in RGB color.  So I managed to make the gray outer line by changing the mode of the image, but I can't always change the color of the outside line to black.

  I'm sure there must be other ways to change the color of the outer line without having to change the mode of the image, but I am naïve.

  The text next to the circle says "Obra desagüe. It is Spanish for "drainage construction site.

  You see, I can't change the color because I have no idea where the color option 'change' is. I tried to go to the layer → layer properties, but there are only 7 colors to choose from. I chose a color at random, just to see what is happening and what really changed color was the layer in the layers panel. not the form contained in the layer.

  So I'm lost here, any help please?

  Well, you can type the words, and then right click right click--> break apart-->--> break out... each letter is then his own form which you can then turn your taste... you can also script this, however, it is probably a lot to complicated for you, and even if I gave the script to you, it would not make sense... so stick to break apart method , and you should get the desired effect.
