  I bought Lightroom 5 after the expiry of the trial version.  (I think that the version was 5.2, not sure.)  I had the real DVD with the activation code on the box.

  Current operating system is Windows 7.

  At first, I ran the internet updates (had a little trouble with the opening of DVD) and it loaded version 5.5, and I used the activation code.  Everything was fine, but when I try to open a raw (Sony/.arw extension) file, it gives me the possibility to use Lightroom as default program for this action.  He doesn't show any program, and when I go to browse and select it, it will always come to the top.

  So, I uninstalled everything, rebooted etc., then load the DVD and the DVD got to work this time.  Again, I think that the 5.2 version came.  A to assign .arw files to Lightroom and - no problem.  Lightroom is presented as a program, as it had not before.  I then ran the update again to 5.5, and I'm running in exactly the same thing, where I can't fix LR as default.  Maybe the registry is not fair?  He just sees is more like a program in the option 'Open with' Lightroom (when I reinstalled, it wiped out the 'open with LR' I had attached the files.)  I can open Lightroom itself very well, but I can not simply by clicking on a raw file and open it.

  It is very common that LR should open pictures.

  What happens is that LR opens LR catalogs, not images.  The images are imported after that LR started upward.  You can double-click a LR catalog, a .lrcat, a file, or you can drag - move a file of LR catalog on LR icon and either will open LR, but that's all.  If you have already opened an image with LR it would hang and be hard to fix.

  I think maybe LR 1.x would automatically import images if you dragged their make, but which closed several versions ago.

  LR can also be set to open when you insert a memory card, via a checkbox in the preferences.

  You can also open LR via a shortcut, and then drag and drop a folder on the area of the main image in library mode and which will initiate an import.  It's actually what I'm doing for each import.

  This isn't a sequence of images, it's a film strip.

  I would make your project to a sequence of images. Make sure that your master or rendered comp is the same width that you want your film.

  1. Now import your images as images, not as a sequence of images to After Effects (you can do something similar to Photoshop)
  2. Select your entire image sequence and then click on file > new comp from selected, then choose unique composition.
  3. This should give you your whole image sequence in a composition with the images in the correct order. If the order is wrong, then start again by selecting the first image in the sequence first and then sliding the last image
  4. Now you need to change the size of your publication by going into settings of Composition (Ctrl/Cmnd + K) and the Advanced tab, click on the upper area of the Center in the anchor selector
  5. Now, go to the Basic tab, make sure that lock the proportions is not selected, and then select the height
  6. Use the arrow key to move to the end of the size of the height and type * and the number of images in the sequence (IOW 640 * 20)
  7. Go back to your publication and add this expression to the position property of the upper layer:

  h = thisComp.height;

  n = thisComp.numLayers;

  y = height/n * index;

  x = thisComp.width/2;

  tempY = n - (height/2);

  y = tempY + index * height;

  [x, y]

  Or select all of your layers, then apply this preset

  If your publication is completed save any image in format PSD using Composition > save the calendar layers Photoshop or Frame save as file

  Hi help would be appreciated, Im using parents pc at the moment = s, sound on Home Edition XPservice 3 Pack, and it is an AMD Athlon 64 x 2 Dual Core processor 3800 + 2.01 Ghz, 2.87 GB of Ram. Now the problem is that I lost an exe file and by the looks of it, im not gunna be able to recover in any case I try the download, Win CD etc. Its Sndvol32.exe which seems to have misplaced somewhere, Im using or has been properly anyway Windows Media Player 11, I think it's the microsoft default mixer soz not great with computers as long as that. I get error when I try to click on the sounds of the control panel ETC and try to click to see the media icon in the task bar for example, it would not really matter to my parents but because im back with them for a week, I installed a program of music cause I can't live without seeking to produce music so I need to find this bug annoying ideas would be much appreciated, cheers

  It seems that the only type of file which can be imported in this first release are certain types of AVI files... even certain types of notice will import but then will not appear when it is not placed in the timeline... no MPGs, MP4s, and WMVs, or something else will import at all.

  Virtually all the files I need to bring for first 6 must be converted into AVI with H.264 codec first.

  Any help would be useful.

  You can make the entry of the Express VI reduction factor by converting it to a Subvi.  You will need to right click on the sample Compression VI and select display the front panel.  This allows to convert the express VI into a Subvi standard and you will not have access to the dialog box that you used previously.  You can change the 'size' in the block diagram to a control and bind it on the diagram.  This will create another entry in this VI.  I have provided a link that should show you how to change the side of the connector.  It is in the help of LabVIEW files.

• Why CS5 won't load the samples?

  For the life of me, I can't understand why CS5 (7.0.4). Swatches (Mac OSX10.7.5) refuse to open in the drop down below in the swatch Panel, and even when I try "to open all documents" I get an error message saying that my file is either corrupt or something. I tried exporting to IDML and re-opening as a new document. Tried twice. Failed. Then, as a solution, has opened a new color and loaded with all the nuances (not coated) (by selecting in the colors window, and then hit OK). But ID see them as hundreds of spot like colours actually occupying the document, so declinging to perform certain functions of rendering.

  If you can collect the samples you want in a single file in Illustrator, you can save them as .ase. Put you find almost anywhere convenient, and then you can load in ID. As I mentioned, however, ID do not have more than 10 tones and warn you, if the memories are good, that it cannot restore the colors accurately on the screen.

  Make a search for globals functional, which is based on the use of a shift register uninitialized for a while loop.   If you burn to a DVD disc in first items 10 and later versions, some choices are

  a. DVD-VIDEO standard screen or 4:3 16:9 on DVD disc

  Both will have the frame size of 720 x 480 pixels. But the big screen comes with a 16:9 flag that extends approximately 856/480 16:9 display video after encoding. The screening is not adjustable by the user... and you end up with the DVD-VIDEO format @ 29.97 images per second interlaced.

  -Lrecl = 12000000

  It works very well so far and gives me a sampling time of ~ 600ms. Where the problem occurs is when I want to display the signal in a graph. Here, I get the error message 'insufficient memory '.   Examples of NO-SCOPE contain examples of code explaining how to extract data from map of range into pieces (for example niScope EX Fetch in Chunks.vi).  As mentioned above, there are tuturials on how to manage large sets of data to LabVIEW, one using LabVIEW and one here.  Between these three sources, you have sample code to pick up your card brought into pieces, decimate for display and display without running out of memory.  It's the algorithm and the method used by the NO-SCOPE Soft Front Panel.

  When you start a text layer, you can click on the color box of text at the top that will launch the color picker (text) and from there you can select your desired color.  -See the attachments-

  Unfortunately the catalogs can have multiple problems when registering on the network due to the large number of variables in the network.
