Make things transparent?

Hello

I designed a logo, but I would like to be able to place on the other projects/images.

At current time every time I copy it and paste it on another picture, it sits just above this one, I love it that the great white circle in the middle is transparent, if you know what I mean?

Wondering how this is done?

When I created the black outer circle, I did using the eclipse tool and changing the size of the race. Not sure if it was the right thing to do or not, I couldn't figure out just how to create a black circle on its own.

Thank you

Please read this:

And maybe a few pages more documentation.

You just need to assign a fill of 'None' to your circle.

  • Cannot cut or make the transparent medium

    Hello

I'm cutting in the middle of this chart 'P' to make it transparent. I found tutorials on the removal of the inner segments of objects using pathfinder, but whenever I try to use 'less before' or 'exclude', I get the error below ("images gradient meshes, graphs, the objects and text paths cannot be used as elements of the compound shape"). I am extremely frustrated and can't find any solution. Help, please!

(I locate some information indicating the graph may be too small and should be expanded somewhat, but when I resized it, it gives the same error still.) I also tried to use "expand appearance", but it is grayed out.)

It seems that you try to make part of an image transparent (P).

This is usually done in Photoshop.

    But you can try this:

Select the white object in the center of the P.

    Fill it with black.

Select the white object and the image, and then click make mask in the transparency Panel.

    Deselect Crter.

  • Make background Transparent on AIR Flash CS5 for BlackBerry Tablet Simulator Application

    Hello

I tried to find a way make the background Transparent on the Flash CS5 for BlackBerry Tablet Simulator AIR Application and I think it has to do with my *-app.xml file.  I saw another forum mention adding the tag and the parameter 'true '.  I put it inside my tags and my .bar file would not always compile using the command line package.  As soon as I remove the label of , I can compile the .bar file and view it in the simulator of the tablet.  Does anyone have advice?

You must assign the value true in the file of your blackberry - tablet.xml, no not your - app.xml file.

  • Make a transparent section

I have PS 14 items and can't seem to remember or to find a way to make a section of a JPG or GIF saved transparent logo. It used to be a simple 2-3 steps with previous versions, but I went brain dead with PSE14. I would like to get rid of the gray background behind the actual patch/logo. All I remember was that the first step is to select the 'Quick Selection' tool to highlight one area. From that moment my brain does not work.

    Try the following:

    1. Double click on the background layer to convert a layer that is locked into a regular layer
    2. Activate the magic wand tool. On the tool options bar, set the tolerance = 32 and uncheck the "contiguous".
    3. Click anywhere on the grey background
    4. Press Delete on the keyboard
    5. Press CTRL + D to get rid of the dotted lines mobile

PS: Do not save in JPEG file format, as it does not support transparency.

  • How to make a transparent text so as to keep the whiteness

This can be very simple, but have failed to do it again. Have tried all the effect different merger on the text layer, but so that it makes the text more transparent it becomes too dark, how to avoid this? And while Im at it, it is the final effect of I'm looking for with the whole project.

If anyone knows which fonts and effects used would be great.

    WTF.jpg

Well, that's the whole issue of blend modes - they mix the two values in pixels. The only way to change the behavior would be to also change the bottom layer. In your case, several copies of the text tinted different colors and where the modes in different opacities of merger should do the trick. Sometimes there is no one-click solution to achieve a specific look.
