    Manage bookmarks has not been used since versions of Firefox 1.5, 5 years ago. Organize bookmarks now called display all bookmarks in versions of Firefox 4 +.

    The name of menu changed but it takes some time to update the Knowledge Base:

    Bookmarks > show all bookmarks

    The Stop button is at the end of the address box (after the star icon). Once the finished page loading turns into the button reload, so that's probably why you haven't noticed before.
