  Hi all

  I found a way to get an alert for a server that has crashed or is not a sensitive State. It is around the ends to get alerts on servers that do not respond but works.

  How to:

  1. in Vsphere running on VMWare HA (high Avialaiblity) on the cluster where you want your alerts from your servers to come.

  2. under HA set VM parameters as required monitoring settings.

  3. in Vsphere click the Alerts tab at the level of the cluster or the virtual machine, you want to monitor.

  4. click with the right button on tab General alarm: create name-> Virtual Machine Monitor-> monitor for specific events on this object

  Tab triggers: click Add-> to the title of the event change fall down to: "allowed HA VM reset with screenshot.

  Actions tab: click on Add button-> Send an e-mail notification: "enter the e-mail address where you want the alert to go.

  5. an email will be sent advising that the server has been restarted. You know that there was a problem on the server and you can view the event logs.

The notification seems to be stubborn and it can not be erased it unless the device is reset. It isn't harmful, but because of my OCD (mandatory disorder that) for the verification of notifications is causing irritation.

  I notice that only KitKat 4.4.2 and not JellyBean 4.3.

  Any ideas to clear the notification? or is this a bug?

  I customized the page scorecard OTL to include information of the project name, task name, task Date, start and end Date of job, also I made customization for the Type field to retrieve data from different sources. I created a function of database for the customization of the Type & included call to this function in jdeveloper.
  
  Once a sheet is submitted, a manager gets notification by email. I need to display the project name, task name and Type fields in this notification. Type field is not failing in the notification. There is no problem with the project name and the name of the task.
  
  No idea how can be achieved? What a change I have to do in the HXCEMP workflow which is called?

  HXCEMP workflow is not responsible for the details of scorecard view in the notification. It passes just to the appropriate approver.
  You have configured the layout of Notification as well (with start time entry)? You must have similar changes to presentation of the Notification.

  I know it's more that you asked for, but since there are several related types of notifications and parameters, I'm stick in a summary detailed.

  Web sites may ask you to accept several types of communications and updates:

  • Desktop notifications - if permitted, the site can send notifications for Firefox display at the bottom of your screen until you close the last tab for a site.
  • Web push notifications - if permitted, the site can send notifications of office for Firefox display in the lower corner of your screen, even after the last tab for the site is closed (until you quit Firefox).
  • Push the web updates - if permitted, the site can send updates of Firefox in the background, which is undoubtedly more effective by force refresh a page or to have a script on the page to keep control of the updates. This function of insertion is NOT a notification of the office, but Firefox use permission notification Panel, that I hope will change in the future since it is a bit confusing.

  Specific permissions to the site/blocks

  If the falling Panel is not available or does not work for you, while looking at the site where you want to change a previously given permission, you can use the permissions of the Page Info dialog Panel. To call it that, either:

  • Right click on a box empty page and select View Page Info > permissions
  • (menu bar) Menu Tools > Page Info > permissions
  • Click on the padlock, or 'i' icon to the left of the address of the site, then the ">" icon, then more Information > permissions

  Session do not disturb

  To disable all notifications of office for the rest of your Firefox session (that is, until you quit Firefox), you can enable the "do not disturb" on the page Options/preferences, content panel. Either:

  • Windows: button menu '3-bar' (or Tools menu) > Options, then in the left column click on content
  • Mac: button menu '3-bar' (or Firefox menu) > Preferences, and then in the left column click content
  • Linux: menu button '3 - bar' (or edition menu) > Preferences, and then in the left column click content
  • Anyone: type or paste Subject: preferences #content in the address bar and press enter/return (you can bookmark this for faster access)

  On the right side, under "Notifications", check the box "do not disturb me."

  All sites persistent Disable

  There are two different preferences for notifications, a general switch and one that is specific to notifications (web push) of background that can appear after you leave the site, which sends them.

  (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press enter/return. Click on the button promising to be careful.

  (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste webno and make a pause so that the list is filtered

  (3) to disable PUSH NOTIFICATIONS, double-click the preference dom.webnotifications.serviceworker.enabled to change its value from true to false - sites can still generate desktop notifications so that you have a tab open on the site

  (4) to disable all THE NOTIFICATIONS, double-click the preference dom.webnotifications.enabled to change its value from true to false - this is a switch, you won't get notifications of office from sites

  I hope that gives you a technique for the management of notifications according to your needs.

  Background updates can be completely blocked with the dom.push.enabled preference, but that can block trusted sites truly useful services, so I do not recommend it at this point.

  Troubleshooting: The specific permissions are forgotten?

  If you enter a permission to a site via a drop-Panel or the Page Info dialog, Firefox should remember of your choice. If you lose specific permissions to the site, one of the possible reasons are if Firefox is set to 'Clear history' when it closes on the Options/preferences page.

• AnalogWaveform - problem of memory over time?

  WPF, data application is related in an AnalogWaveform proberty XAML.

  The example that you have accessed to seeks to demonstrate binding data with the least amount of code possible.   You can also expose Data as a dependency property in this example, that would manage the notification of changes automatically.

  You must use Thread.ExternallySuspended (see using the API for more details) while your dialog box is running. Also you should consider using Execution.InitTerminationMonitor and Execution.GetTerminiationMonitorStatus.

  That said, the description of what you want to do, I thought you were going to start with a UI examples. If you really want to write a custom user interface, it is perhaps a better way to go.
