Managed Oracle driver supports for XmlType

Hello

I think that pilot fantastic managed Oracle but the lack of support of XmlType prevents me using it.

So, I would like to know what are your plans to add support for XmlType.

Thank you

The plan is to release some time in 2014. That's what we aim for.

It seems that you use ODP.NET of ODAC 12 c R2, which does not support XmlType. If you go to ODP.NET in ODAC 12 c R3, you will be able to use XmlType. It is currently supported in this version of managed ODP.NET.

Oracle support strategy is unchanged. It is a typical "typo" from people unfamiliar with this statement of support for commercialization. If you are an Oracle customer you have access to MyOracleSupport & can read by yourself (249212.1). Without political change = business as usual. • 6710 b NIC Driver support for XP

I'm trying to update the CARD driver for a HP 6710 b with XP, the NETWORK card is a Broadcom NETLink network card, when I try to download and install that latest Windows Broadcom does not allow me to install it, saying not to install this driver.

The only driver on the HP support site is from 2007 and the driver is dated 12/2006.

I don't know why HP did not update the NIC since they should of at least given users more options for these drivers.

Someone managed to get new drivers for this work, if so where...

    Your help would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

Thank you it seems to have worked even though the installer said it was for a map of NetXtreme NETWORK rather than a NetLink.

  • The requests hung and implementation Oracle driver thin query timeout

We are seeing occasional cases of threads blocked, where the code is in Oracle thin XA of the code driver waiting for a socket read a response from the database. Usually only one thread at a time. The connection is never ending and we close WebLogic to clear it. DBA tells us that all connections for the RAC 11 g of our guests cluster members are inactive, with no hanging transactions or long term.

In this case every few cases of days between two WebLogic 10.3.5 grouped in our QA environment, is generally not the same time on both servers (we had four incidents, the other had one, in the last 15 days). Sometimes it resulted in a server hung, the driver is keeps a lock that is blocking other threads (today we had many discussions block in a restoration of TX).

I'm guessing that our instance of WebLogic somehow does not receive the close connection of the remote host. BTW, there is no firewall between us and the DB. I don't have any suspect strong for the cause (even if we're under Linux on a virtual VMWare 4.0 computer, always worried).

Usually, I would ask any application to set a timeout for the query or set the time-out request to connect with Betclic to work around the problem (we use a MultiDatasource), if the transaction will give up at least and the application can manage it. However, while the Oracle driver supports java.sql.Statement.setQueryTimeout (), a brief investigation on my part leads me to believe the time-out is implemented on the server side, not client side - so that if it is indeed the case that WebLogic does not see the outcome on the connection, it also would never see the timeout.

    Two questions:
    1. is my suspicion implementation timeout for Oracle 11 g correct server-side?
    2. If so, is there a property that I can put to the pilot who will implement a socket timeout? It is "safe"?

    Thanks for any help!

[Oracle WebLogic 10.3.5, 64-bit JVM 1.6.0_29 HotSpot on RHEL 5.6 on VMWare;] Pilot of thin Oracle XA's bundled with WebLogic; Oracle RAC 11 g (three-node cluster)]

Hi, Yes, there is a property, you can give the driver to taken all calls with a timeout of read.
oracle.net.READ_TIMEOUT. The units are in milliseconds, so choose a high number
enough that no reading legitimate, as a wait for the DBMS do an update or commit.
    etc., would take more time.

Ignore the message by Mukesh. There's nothing relevant there.

  • Exception when using tnsnames AND ezconnect resolution methods with managed Oracle ODP 12 c rel.3

We are looking at upgrading to a web service to connect to Oracle using the unmanaged to the ODP ODP managed (12 c module 3).

We use tnsnames and have the following configuration in the sqlnet.ora file: NAMES. DIRECTORY_PATH = (TNSNAMES, EZConnect).

The resolver EZConnect is necessary because we use an OracleDependency object for database update notifications.

When moving to the managed driver, a SocketException exception is thrown when you try to open a new connection. Looking at the call stack, I can see that the managed Oracle driver, actually a 'OracleInternal.Network.EZConnect' object, calls System.Net.Dns.GetAddrInfo to get an IP address, but with the alias tns as a parameter. Of course, it fails with this exception "unknown host".

So it seems to me that there is a problem combining tnsnames, ezconnect manned ODP managed!

Someone else who has experienced this and found a solution, or it could be an error in the driver?

This problem seems to have been fixed in the version of 12 c 4.

  • Support for Windows 7 to VGN-SZ49

Where can I find Windows 7 support and drivers for my VGN SZ491N? I waited for a year! My S1/S2 special function buttons do not work. Help, please.

I went through hell with Sony, trying to get suopport for my VGN-FZ290 in order to upgrade to Windows 7. Their Web site indicates clearly that it is upgraded to Windows 7. I contacted the support team and they asured me it ws possible. After the purchase of the software and install it, I discovered that they had no drivers for the graphics card. All they have done is to try and sell me a service contract, saying that they could fix it if I paid them several hundred dollars.
I have two Dell laptops much older, I easily upgraded to Windows to Vista. Reference Dell fully supports their customers with Windows 7 drivers.
After a 3 month wait for a response from Sony they came back and told me too bad we will not offer you any Windows 7 driver support for my laptop. They had even the aodacity to wanted to sell me the original Vista operating system, I had to delete them when I did a clean install they recommend to do during the installation of Windows 7.
I was a big advocate of Sony before these problems. All my electronics TVs camerias ect. Now I can't say that I always have to pay more for a Sony computer when they abanioned you 1 year out for driver for assistance.
I'll have to recommend Dell for all computers, if you want the driver software updates. All Sony wants to do is sell you services and new computers and for their support in my view stinks.

  • Dell Precision 390 and Windows 7 64 bit driver support

We have a Dell Precision 390 and want to pass this to a Windows 7 64-bit operating system.  Several months ago, I noticed driver support for Windows 7 64-bit for the Dell Precision 390 model but pilot at the moment the site and downloads not support all these drivers for Windows 7.  It seems that the support has been removed.  At best, it supports only Windows Vista 64-bit.  Can someone explain why there is no support driver for Dell Precision 390 for the 64-bit Windows 7 platform?

    Tony

I have a Dell Precision 390 and Windows 7 Ultimate 64 - bit loaded just fine and it is running.

It is strongly suggested that you do a clean install.

So I wiped my HD (after backing up personal files). Don't come to format your drive, I mean totally wipe it.

Automatic updates will install the drivers you need for any connected device or visit the manufacturers for your drivers.

So in short, "Don't sweat it".

Go ahead and download this puppy goes for a few years.
