  don't know what type of battery you have. but, I spent time to research on my machine before you purchase it. and according to a bunch of Web sites, the most recent (not sure how much newer) lithium cell batteries have a much longer lifetime, unlike those of 4 or 5 years ago. and the Dell machines are made so you can leave plugged in as much as you want. because as soon as the battery is recharged, the battery is not circumvented, therefore no wear on them when it is plugged.

  That's basically correct - LabVIEW code cannot be imported and you can not directly interface with hardware - and is the only authorized communication with web services (LabVIEW or otherwise).

  A full installation of VLT will require more ports that supports mirroring, and there is not a way to layer 3 mirroring.

Basically, it seems the only operation I can do is take the disks offline. I have no option to create tables, add/remove disks in bays or change RAID levels.

  Have you installed the OEM ESXi version for Dell machines, or just a generic of VM Ware?  If you install ESX (with console) you can then install OM, and will give you the access you want.  You can manage all of this on the web.  Otherwise ESXi is limited, and it is a known issue.

  Now, I have also configured the 'deadtimet 10 radius server', meaning to jump on the radius server does not respond. Does that mean exactly?

  If the radius with priority 1 server is offline for a few seconds, the switch instantly consider this as dead radius server and sent no auth request it for the "period deadtime ' 10 minutes (depending on configuration)? How often switch check for the availability of the radius server host?
