  We have a dozen UCS C-series servers spread over 5 different sites.  Is there a free utility or inexpensive to manage all servers in our series C from a single point?  UCS Manager is great, but its exaggerated and way too expensive.  I think of something as a UCS Manager-Lite or even a third party utility that I can install it on my workstation.

• Failover problem Manager HA of the NAC

  Hi all

  I have a high availability manager high availability server of the NAC and NAC. When I try to active failover primary NAC Manager to secondary NAC Manager, NAC Server is not able to connect to the secondary NAC Manager. I don't know that ip connectivity is not a problem. When I try to do the NAC Manager primary such as active, the NAC server can connect to the main Manager of NAC. It seems that NAC Server cannot connect to the secondary NAC Manager.

  For the Nac solution, I have these reference numbers:

  NACMGR-3-K9

  NAC3310-100-K9

  Two of these part numbers cost the same. Should I buy both, or only the part number NAC3310-100-K9? NAC Datasheet said that I get free Cisco Clean Access Lite Manager which manages own access up to three servers. Thank you

  At a minimum, you will need to buy two devices: a Central Manager and a clean access server.

  If you buy a Clean Access Manager Lite, you can manage up to 3 access to own servers.

• NAC appliance purchase question

  Dear Experts,

  This summer we bought a Server Appliance from Cisco NAC3315-K9-500-500-NAC3315-K9.

  And we are about to begin its deployment. But to our surprise, we learned that it is a separate physical server to manage the NAC and NAC Manager license is required.

  Unfortunately, we bought the unit of the NAC with support (rather hasty) that management (CAM) and the access server (CASES) are integrated into a single box. But, after checking a configuration guide, he said that one or other of the CAM or CASES can be installed on the device.

  So is it possible to integrate them both on the same machine? Or must buy this CAM server that cost a fortune?

  Or alternatively, the cam can be installed as a virtual machine?

  You cannot run the cam and the CASE on a single piece of material (when you install the software, you must choose the Manager or the server prior to installation scripts), you must run on separate devices. However, you can get a job in Ise (licenses), which is the last product that can take advantage of all the features of the NAC in one device. However based on your network (amount of endpoints) it can easily take more material.

  ISE can run on devices that you have purchased, you will need to go to your cisco account representative or your partner of cisco in order to have their with the discount and you get to put on the same page on ISE (providing the demonstration or proof of concept).

  I supported the NAC and ISE and your best approach should not go forward with the NAC product now that ISE is out, it is a design much better in the way it integrates into your network, it uses also not only the manager and server, but it includes the profiling and reviews management services which are all of different products within the line of the NAC.

• Ringtones/notifications

  Where are the notifications/ringtones stocks? Calendar and Contacts show me a list of files that I copied to/storage/emulated/0/Ringtones, but they don't show any of the pre-installed sound files. Notification of calendar is actually still on "Default ringtone (Droid Notification)", but if I ever change that by selecting one of my sounds, I don't see how I'll be able to restore.

  I wonder if there is a default value defined in an application that you can't see the default sounds. The best way to find out would be to tap Settings > applications > Menu > reset the application preferences. If you do this, remember that all the default values on the phone will be reset. It is not a major event, you just choose your default settings for all again once you open files with different applications.

  There is an application called 'Default App Manager Lite' which will show you all the defaults set on the phone for each app using this app you can understand that is the app you can't see the default sounds. Please let me know if this helps or not. HTH

  This may mean that HA is not correctly configured (problem with certificates, heart rate, etc.).

  The best thing to do is to connect via SSH for both cams, go to /etc/ha.d/ and delete the files: 'perfigo.conf' and 'ha.cf.

  These are the files that contain the HA configuration, if, after deletion, restart the machine and they will come as stand-alone upward again.

• The HA NAC Manager stop responding

  Hi guys, I have 2 CAM working on failover. 3 times this shift had stopped responding sudenly. I have the device through the GUI SSH o managed by couldn t. Both devices were not answered. The only way to regain control was raise them. They have the version 4.5.

  Those who have an idea about this behavior.

  The fix is already released in 4.7 the solution is already there for you to download and upgrade so that you can download the latest version is 4.7.2.

  Read it release notes for 4.7.2 carefully! You must be on the console to do the upgrade to 4.7.2 for your NAC devices.

  I have Setup Cisco NAC in my environment. These are all works well. The users themselves will get authenticated via Cisco NAC Manager. The Cisco NAC Manager meets with Cisco ACS for the part of the user database. These are all works well. I would like to activate downloadable ACLs. I tried to use the CISCO-AV-PAIR method and creating a downloadable ACL entry in the shared components, but nothing works. It's either I'm doing wrong or this configuration of the mine does not support downloadable ACLs? Please advice kindly.

  It is not possible.

  You cannot push the ACL in the NAC manager.

  If you make the Radius of NAC authentication manager, you can do is create roles the NAC Manager, and on the roles you define traffic strategies.

  Using the Radius attributes you can then map users to roles.

• The NAC Manager/Server license question

  I use a pair of NAC Manager failover with 5 games of CAS servers. Each set of CAS servers is authorized to perform the different amounts of users. (i.e. 1500 or 3500) I loaded all the licences in the Manager. (All Coses PAK have been validly submitted by using the MAC address of the Senior Manager.) Is it possible to assign... or... How will I know which set of servers will be assigned the appropriate license for a specific set of users max?
