Manager tasks indicates Bluetooth not connected

Computer: Acer Aspire | M
OS: Win 8 OEM
Bluetooth: integrated

The section of the the task manager of Windows 8 Bluetooth does not work. He says Bluetooth not connected, and I use a Bluetooth mouse.

When I look at my devices I see my optical mouse for Bluetooth, and when I turn on my Android phone on Bluetooth, it also appears on the list. So why the Manager tasks said that Bluetooth is not connected? (BTW, Bluetooth is enabled in the wireless settings)

The reason why the task manager says it is not connected is because it is not connected.  This phase of connection isn't networking for HID (human interface devices) - mice, keyboards, speakers and phones connected as audio devices.  When your phone or any other device is connected to your computer with a PAN (personal area network) - when he's mutating files - and then it will show as connected.

    Hello

    1. did you of recent changes on the computer?

    Method 1:

It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

I suggest that you put the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

See the link below to learn more about how to clean boot.

  • Bluetooth does not connect to the phone Moto G

Bluetooth not connect to the phone of MotoGP

    How can I get there?

Original title: bluetooth does not connect

    Hello

    Please contact Microsoft Community.

I understand that you are unable to connect to the Bluetooth.

I will definitely help you with this.

    1. Do you receive an error message when connecting?
    2. Are you computer connection to phone with Bluetooth or other device?

I suggest you go through the below methods:

Method 1: Run the hardware troubleshooter, and check if the Bluetooth works.

Open the troubleshooter of material and devices by hitting on any fly in the right edge of the screen, quilting search (or if you use a mouse, pointing to the top right of the screen, move the pointer of the mouse down and then clicking search), recording equipment and devices in the search box, type by clicking on settings and then by typing or clicking on find and fix problems with the devices. You may be prompted for an administrator password or to confirm your choice.

Method 2: activate Bluetooth Support Service.

Follow these steps and check if the Bluetooth support Service is started.

    (a) press the Windows key + R, type services.msc and press ENTER.

    (b) make a right click on the service named Bluetooth Support Service.

    (c) check if it is started, otherwise click Start.

Download and install the latest Bluetooth drivers on the manufacturer's Web site.

Method 3: To add a Bluetooth device, see the following steps:

Once you have verified that a Bluetooth adapter is installed on your computer and the device that you want to connect with can be discovered, you can add more than compatible Bluetooth devices to your computer. Here's how:

    1. press the Windows key, it will appear on the start screen, tap Add a device, click settings, click Add a Bluetooth device

    2. click on the compatible Bluetooth device, you want to add to your computer, and then click Next. If you do not see the device you want to add, make sure that the device is turned on and discoverable. If you turned right on the device, it may take Windows several seconds to detect.

Windows might ask you to enter a pairing code (sometimes called a PIN or pass). Most Bluetooth enabled devices had to be paired with your computer before that they can exchange information between them. To do this, they must exchange protected pairing codes. This means that only wireless devices, you authorize can connect with your computer.

  • Error notification of 'not connected' in taskbar & Windows Update problem

Under Windows 64 Pro System i5 Intel, discovered the RocketTab advertising program and removed with Spybot.  Next day when I started the system the internet icon in the task bar said "not connected - no available connection", also only shows 'unknown' network connections active in the centre network and sharing, but browser and more program online function still works.  But when I tried to start the Windows Update program, it wouldn't start.  Downloaded Windows Update repair program, it corrects an error in registry but said that he could not fix the program starts.

I have read several questions on this site that looked and tried a start-up manual of the SSTPS, but received the error 998, also receive the "error 1068: the dependency service could not start and failed to start the Remote Access Connection Manager Service", when you try to manually start the program RACMS.

Check all services "Remote Access Connection Manager": the following results

    i. Secure Socket Tunneling Protocol Service - error 998 does not start

    II. telephone - running

III. Plug n Play - running

IV. Remote Procedure Call (RPC) - running

    v. DCOM - running server process Launcher

VI RPC end point mapper. -during the execution

Ran Windows System File Checker and repaired some registry files but could not repair

    "webio.dll"

    folder Windows\System32

If this file is incorrectly routing memory of pagination for the SSTPS at startup and causes the 998 error that stops the remote access connection manager service to start and gives me startup problems with Windows Update Service (and a few other programs that use the same Protocol)

If it is then I know that I can replace manually, but I don't want any changes manually in the registry if there is a better solution.

Thanks in advance for any help I get.

Hello, thanks for the response, it is a stand-alone workstation, no programs have been installed, but looking from the log files, there is a block of HARD drive error which was autocorrected day before it took place.

So I just manually replaced the "webio.dll" file in the folder window\system32\ on the installation CD and he corrected two errors.

  • Creative cloud can not connect behind a proxy.

One of the more stupid things that Adobe has done is this stupid creative Cloud solution. We have several users who are unable to access the cloud creative because the "brain" (and I use that term in a broad sense) Adobe decided to change their application without any warning.

When you use Adobe Application Manager, the software would not connect to the Adobe servers when you use a proxy, but it was fine because that at least worked on authentication. Now, even this fails since the update of Adobe Application Manager creative Cloud Desktop App. After a lot of tests and countless tests to try to find a complete application that needs to be constantly updated every time it connects to the internet, I was able to establish that if a proxy pac file is used, then the application does not connect and fails because it cannot find the internet. When a proxy server and port is used, then it connects, but this isn't an appropriate solution.

Is there someone who was able to use the pac files proxy software enabled?

BTW, here are a few interesting responses from Adobe support which was without support or advanced experts:

"You have a connection to the internet?" - after the remote access to my computer... OF THE INTERNET

"You must start the computer in safe mode." "" ME: "why?" Support: "because this release resources to run the application.

"It seems that the Internet is not working" - after repeatedly clicking try again

"" "I'll contact level 2 support and we will be able to help you, because our main concern is that you can get a connection" me: "How long this will take?" Support: "a few hours" - 4 hours later and still no word from tech support and I've worked on the issue.

So for all those of Adobe, which really wants to help, I'm still waiting on my reminder.

All the others, I would like to know if someone has managed to get this working with proxy pac files.

For any one trying to get this stupid thing work, I could find a solution for our environment.

Adding to both a proxy for users pac file and then allowing server application Proxy settings. This allowed the Adobe Creative Cloud app to connect to internet and update. It also means that we didn't need to add sites in our list of filters, as they were already enabled for users.

Hope this helps others trying to get this to work

  • Bluetooth devices will not connect after a long period of absence

It started in the last 3 months, I'm not sure of that OS upgrade specifically.  I currently have Version 10.11.3.  I have a MBP late 2011.  I use a keyboard, trackpad and bluetooth magic, bought the same time as my mac.

Whenever I come back from a business trip (usually a day or two max), my bluetooth keyboard and trackpad will not connect.  They appear in the drop down bluetooth devices, but when I select Connect, nothing happens.  I did everything the new standard batteries, SMC/PRAM reset, nothing helps.  I then manually have to pair them up with difficulty using Set Up Bluetooth Trackpad/keyboard.  It will show "found", then say could not pair.  I have the power on the devices several times his cycle, and then hold the power button 'on' to the pair.  Usually, it takes 5-10 minutes and is terribly frustrating.  Once I get the paired, as long as my stays Mac in the same room with the devices, they pair very well.  Appreciate the advice.

    Hi Baker,

    (a) if it works well before? You get a specific error message?

    (b) don't you recall making any changes to the computer before this happened?

Connect the laptop to access the internet cable and then try to follow the steps:

Step 1: check if you are able to receive the IP (Internet protocol) address, run Ipconfig/all at the command prompt.

Click Start, run, type "cmd" (without the quotation marks), and then click OK to open a MS-DOS command line window. Type "ipconfig/all" (without the quotation marks), and then press the ENTER key.

    ·         Do you have an IP address?

    ·         You get the addressing APIPA (automatic private IP addressing)?

Ø If the line "Autoconfiguration Enabled' says 'Yes', the 'Auto-configuration IP address' is 169.254.x.y (where x.y is the unique client identifier), then the computer is using AUTOMATIC private IP addressing.

Ø If the line "Autoconfiguration Enabled' says 'No', while the computer does not currently use AUTOMATIC private IP addressing.

Note:  With APIPA, DHCP (Dynamic host configuration protocol protocol) clients can be automatically configure an IP address (Internet protocol) address and subnet mask when a DHCP server is not available.

If you cannot assign an IP address and then try step 2

Step 2: disable the DHCP (Dynamic host configuration protocol protocol) Broadcast Flag:

Run the fixit available in the link below to disable the DHCP broadcast flag

I am able to connect to internet wireless and wired connections. However, when I am connected to the Internet by cable, the internet icon taskbar displays a red x over the empty bars wireless. The message displayed while I move the pointer over the icon is 'Internet access'.

When I'm connected to the wireless internet, the internet icon from the task bar shows a yellow star (error) with a message that 'Internet connections are available.

  • Since activation apple CarPlay, my iPhone does not connect to my Bluetooth infotainment system

I have recently taken delivery of a VW Tiguan MkII 2016 and could easily match my 6 s iPhone with it. Now, however, I created CarPlay Apple and VW car-net connect my iPhone via USB. Now my iPhone is no longer connect via bluetooth when not plugged into the USB port. It seems that I can now use only my phone by CarPlay which I do not plan to use whenever I drive the car. Is there a solution to this?

    Hi biker.

I understand that as you have activated the Carplay, your iPhone will not connect to your car stereo via bluetooth. You can try to disable the Carplay on the device, and then test the bluetooth connection. Because you are trying to connect via clips and wireless at the same time, this can cause some problems. Using one or the other should solve this problem.
