Manager tasks indicates resumes my idle process 99 per cent of the capacity of the processor

When I try to connect to my blackberry Desktop Manager to back up my phone or synchronize my media, that it connects not - so I went to Task Manager - and he says that the 'inactive' process is at 99 - which, I believe, means it takes 99% CPU, but at the bottom of the box, it does not say it is taking a lot of CPU it jumps around 0% - 2%-18%...?

the 'inactive' process is at 99 - which, I believe, means it takes up 99% CPU

It's a good thing.

  • Manager tasks indicates Bluetooth not connected

    Computer: Acer Aspire | M
    OS: Win 8 OEM
    Bluetooth: integrated

The section of the the task manager of Windows 8 Bluetooth does not work. He says Bluetooth not connected, and I use a Bluetooth mouse.

When I look at my devices I see my optical mouse for Bluetooth, and when I turn on my Android phone on Bluetooth, it also appears on the list. So why the Manager tasks said that Bluetooth is not connected? (BTW, Bluetooth is enabled in the wireless settings)

The reason why the task manager says it is not connected is because it is not connected.  This phase of connection isn't networking for HID (human interface devices) - mice, keyboards, speakers and phones connected as audio devices.  When your phone or any other device is connected to your computer with a PAN (personal area network) - when he's mutating files - and then it will show as connected.

    Hello

    1. did you of recent changes on the computer?

    Method 1:

It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

I suggest that you put the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

See the link below to learn more about how to clean boot.

  • Use high CPU (35% average) while System Idle process CPU about 98% but frustrated by "[name of the prog] has stopped working".

    Hello

I am trying to help someone with a laptop HP model g6-1202sa (Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit, another record at the end of the post).

I think that Windows is now updated and drivers, but the problem remains also.

The laptop has the symptoms mentioned in the title I found the Manager tasks.  Laptop fan is on a large part of the time, and the owner says that, during the execution of something more intensive than Skype for example of internet browsing, they get a warning from Norton on high CPU. Resource monitor shows that system interrupts are on average about 31% CPU.

The results, I found the task manager has led to some research on Google, which in turn led me to want to run adksetup.exe (Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit) in the hope of discovering if a particular driver is causing the problem. (Various threads on the internet point to what is the way to go).

However, after downloading adksetup.exe, when I try to launch it I get the initial screen of Toolbox and then 'assessment of Windows and the deployment for Windows 8.1 Kit has stopped working ". (Verification of the solution finally gives the only option to "Close the program").  Similarly, I have now discovered that if I try to look at the properties of the computer, i.e. start > right click on computer > left click on properties, I get "Windows Explorer has stopped working". Do more research on Google I find sometimes I get "Internet Explorer has stopped working" sometimes (Chrome is ok).  More out of curiosity than anything specific I ran AMD VISION Engine Control Center after right click on the desktop and ended with 'Catalyst Control Center; The host Application has stopped working".

So before going any further, does anyone have any ideas what's happening?   I do not understand the problems 'has stopped working"in safe mode, but the high utilization of the processor with System Idle Process around 98% is still there.  It appears so that I can run adksetup.exe in safe mode while this would be the way to proceed and continue to try to tackle the problem of CPU?

For the record, some of the things I've done along the way include update of Windows, updating drivers, running the file system (no violation of integrity) checker, a regular chkdsk ("CHKDSK discovered free space marked allocated in the master file table (MFT) bitmap. Correcting errors in the volume bitmap. Windows has made corrections to the file system").  Swapped the only module memory 4GB 2 x 1 GB modules I had to hang out, all the symptoms remained 4 GB then reinstalled.

    Hello

I noticed that the system idle process in the Task Manager is still 99%. What is a natural process or that this indicates a virus in the background or something? I also noticed that my laptop runs slower than expected performance.

I have Windows XP Pro installed in the laptop.

Please someone with an answer to this question, the answer!

    Hey Taha,

Your the system idle process will sometimes show high CPU usage, but this should not be for a long period of time. Windows XP runs its own maintenance tasks periodically (usually when the system is not busy), but these should appear as frequently or for a long period.

I would recommend running a scan for spyware on your system to make sure that there is nothing of causing your slow performance.

  • understand the system idle process

The Task Manager process often indicates "System Idle process" in courses running almost continuously and the disc access light stays on for an extended period. What is going on? And why not a title like "System idle" are located in the help files or administrative tools/Services?

Check with Sysinternals Process Explorer. I wonder if you will notice interruptions or DPC having a high amount of CPU usage (which the Task Manager will be assigned to the System Idle Process).

  • Idle process BSOD

My PC, which was previously stable, has recently started giving me a BSOD. Does anyone have advice on how to track down what is the cause?

I'm new to analyze minidumps, so feel free to correct me, but of the analyzed minidump (attached at the end of this post), I think the problem might be one of my drivers but I have no idea how to do to limit further than the idle process.

Here are a few random background info in no particular order, that may or may not provide additional information:
BSOD is random; I saw twice in one evening and running for weeks without noticing a (using PC average hours per day).
BSOD will not happen on command. Happened in the use of Google Voice (and before that was installed), then the use of Firefox (which may be meaningless, since it's pretty much in constant use) and while the PC was sitting just idle (but perhaps with Firefox running unused in the background, I forgot).
    PC has never been overclocked.
Windows & drivers have been resettled from scratch several times.   BIOS has been reflashed and holds as well of one of the two options (I forgot to note that I had used and will try too.).  BSOD continues.
Memtest86 + shows no memory error.
Although applications installed with Windows updates, browsers, plugins, etc are constantly changing and the BIOS has been reflashed and everything has been reinstalled maybe a month or two before the first BSOD, nothing else jumps as a major change evident immediately before the first BSOD, and everything came backups that I hope are still as they were originally before the first crash when even noticing.

A few specifications of systems, let me know if something else is needed:
Microsoft Windows XP Pro SP3 + updates, 32-bit
    AMD Athlon 64 X 2 Dual Core 4200 +.
    4 GB of RAM installed
    Biostar GeForce 6100-M9 motherboard
    Power supply Enermax Liberty ELT400AWT

Thanks in advance for any help that anyone can provide!

I don't have in my notes and googled around a bit, but could not find an exact cause/solution - just a bunch of guessing and trying things tha could perhaps work... which includes a defective or lack of CPU overheating, overclocking, a bad connection, a bad thing or another, but some hardware problem seems to be associated with this error 9 c.  Looks like you did some research too now that I think back to your original message.

When I put a pistol on my processor to overheat, there is no BSOD because the CPU just closes or my BIOS will stop things at a temperature that I determine.   XP will continue to run to display a BSOD, so I never suspect overheating with a BSOD.  I overheated too many times on purpose to know who.

I think if it was me, I which would result in each connection in the system that I could cancel and get back on one at a time if you don't mix (without too much force).  Maybe it's a marginal connection.  You can replace the thermal compound on your CPU cooling fan or your CPU fan, some people say that helps if overheating is suspected.

    Think that material...

Replacing the hal.dll is certainly possible, but 7 opportunities exist on the CD during installation of XP and XP installation, the correct hal.dll gets determined when you install XP, it is expanded and installed as hal.dll - it must be material on your motherboard.  (that's why the suggestions "replace your hal.dll" make me want to vomit).

I know that my hal.dll is the halaacpi.dl_ folder on the installation CD i386 because I looked all expanded at all and the results compared to what is currently installed and I know works. It was clear that it belonged to my system.

You can do it too - figure out what the right one is and (do first a copy of your current) replace the recovery console.  If you get a bad, you'll know right away and then you will have 6 chances more.  It takes not much trial and error - it's obvious when you look at and there is only one that fits.

So, I regret that I have no good ideas other than those you probably already read.

For some reason, I don't get these forums email alerts lately (maybe), so I hope you get some good discoveries and results.

Do, or do not. There is no test.
