Manager tasks indicates no data to disk or network (64 Win8)

The Win8 task manager's performance tab shows only the data for the processor and the memory.

There is no data for drive 0,1 or 2 or for Ethernet VMWare Network Adapter VMnet1 or VMWare Network Adapter VMnet8, i.e. the graphics are empty, and its use is showing that 0%.
Resource monitor shows its use as intended.
Any ideas?
The "improved" task manager was one of the key that I moved to Win8. It's disappointing.

Finally I thought of her.

"View / update speed" has been updated with the "suspended" status

I don't remember ever that assigning.

    When I look at my devices I see my optical mouse for Bluetooth, and when I turn on my Android phone on Bluetooth, it also appears on the list. So why the Manager tasks said that Bluetooth is not connected? (BTW, Bluetooth is enabled in the wireless settings)

    The reason why the task manager says it is not connected is because it is not connected.  This phase of connection isn't networking for HID (human interface devices) - mice, keyboards, speakers and phones connected as audio devices.  When your phone or any other device is connected to your computer with a PAN (personal area network) - when he's mutating files - and then it will show as connected.

    Hello

    1. did you of recent changes on the computer?

    Method 1:

    It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

    I suggest that you put the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.

    To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

    See the link below to learn more about how to clean boot.

    How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

    Reset the computer to start as usual

    When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

    (a) click Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.

    (b) If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

    (c) under the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.

    (d) when you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

  • Re-installed XP Pro. Now can not access data dynamic disk on the HD 2

    Hey all. Good here we will...

    My system has TWO SATA drives. A year ago I converted both Dyamic discs thinking I could use them in a RAID, but decided to do it. So, since that time I am using OS + critical data Disk1 and Disk2 as a backup (compressed image of Disk1).

    My question is now, I have re-installed XP Pro on disk 1 and my computer does not allow me to see the data in Disk2. XP Pro detects disc 2 as "base" and asks me to format it. However, my BART PE bootdisk shows 2 disk as dynamic and he can't read.

    This is where I am. I'm trying to understand how to read data from disk 2. Whether some use of software 3rd party or a way to get XP Pro to see the data.

    Check the knowledge base on best practices with dynamic disks.
    http://support.Microsoft.com/search/?adv=1
    For example.
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/329707

    "Dynamic disks use a private disk region to maintain a logical disk manager (LDM) database, which contains the types of volumes, offsets, memberships and the drive letters of each volume. The LDM database is also replicated, so that each dynamic disk knows about every other dynamic disk configuration. This feature makes dynamic disks more reliable and recoverable than basic disks. »

    You suggest that your second drive can still have a copy of his information LDM. In other words, as long as you did not "commit a sin" as defined in this article.

    See 'import records' here and see if 'Foreign' is displayed for the drive in disk management.
    Disk management is where you want to look for info on the disc.

  • Windows Server home of lost data on disk

    I recently replaced the drive on my home server, many of you have given me suggestions how to do this and I thank you all for your help.  Now, I have another question.  I have reinstalled the software of server on the new disk and tried to copy the files from the old drive, but, kept getting security errors.  I thenk noticed me Server saying something on the Assembly of the car, so I did and it seems to have erased the disk partitions.  I tried to put the drive into the machine and boot from the CD, but the only option I have is to install the server software, not to rebuild partitions or retrieve the data from disk.   Is there a procedure to recover my data?  Any idea is welcome.  Which began to be very easy took me days now to try to sort out.

I have to hit the ESC key to exit and can not navigate to other functions of Manager tasks. I remember that you try to use the system restore to solve this problem for a long time (at least 2 years ago) and he has not solved it. Just thought it might settle through updates system over time. This isn't something, I use often but I have the function to return if possible. Any ideas? the task manager can be downloaded and re-installed or maybe a registry setting problem?

  • I can still access my Manager tasks, Shut Down, restart, sleep, and Hibernate options went on the Start Menu After uninstalling Secure browser review.

    I recently downloaded Secure browser review for a test in Spanish for a class.  I uninstalled the program successfully, however I still can't access my Manager tasks, Shut Down, restart, sleep and Hibernate options went on the Start Menu.  Finally, before taking the test, my computer is always locked.  This means that whenever he 'slept' that I have to enter a password or use my HP SimplePass of fingerprint to unlock.  Now, it does not require a password, or it is not locked.

    I don't think SEB is not completely uninstalled, or he changed the settings on my computer and I can't figure out how to change their return.  Help, please!

  • WIN8 - no desktop, black screen with the mouse pointer. Manager tasks and the login screen work.

    As usual I left my computer and after a few minutes, he fell asleep. Next morning, I had moved to the mouse, computer wakes, but I got a black screen with the mouse pointer. I hit CTRL + Alt + Delete and screen with Task Manager option appeared. I stop computer and rebooted. Welcome screen and logon is displayed. After you enter the password and click on submit that the screen becomes black with only the pointer visible mouse. I don't have not installed anything recently. Can you help me find my office?

    OK, I had the same problem. I thought that if you have a pointer and can launch Manager tasks and all programs through its file > new task, then the hull works correctly. No office and no taskbar mean that something is wrong with explorer.exe. Now, he has corrupted not necessarily, may not properly launched.

    Here's what I did:

    1. I opened the Task Manager, the Details tab

    2. I killed all explorer.exe on the list

    3. just to be safe, I also tried to kill dwm.exe but it will be may not be necessary (it never goes away)

    4. I started the new instance of explorer.exe via file > run

    And voila, I had the desktop and the taskbar.

    It will be useful.

  • Error disk or network-access DB

    Hello
    This app worked fine until Friday. The server guys apply certain Windows Server 2000 fixes over the weekend and then I get this error when trying to run a query,

    Can anyone help?

    Thank you

    Thank you Jon and doogan. The problem occurred due to some being stripped network permissions. The access DB is itself on another server (A). CF server connects to this m/c and able to check the data source. The entity table I was tring to query is a linked table that is located on another m/c (B). CF server was not able to see this m/c. everything works fine if I copied the table on the server. The network guys are working on it and will fix it if all goes well. Thank you very much for your contributions.

  • Export data from Level0 to network drive

    Hello

    We have very little space on the Essbase Server
    So I want to export fertilizers of data over a network
    drive or my client machine.
    Is this possible with:

    SET DATAEXPORTOPTIONS
    {
    DataExportLevel "Level0."
    };
    DATAEXPORTCOND ('Sales' > = 1000);
    DIFFICULTY ('100-10', 'New York', 'Real', 'Sales');
    DATAEXPORT 'File' ',' 'b:\exports\jan.txt' '#MI ';
    ENDFIX;

    So far I only managed to write on the Essbase Server
    himself.

    Thank you

    The network drive should be accessible from the Essbase server. A volume of network/folder that is accessible from your customer, unfortunately, does not work.

    However, I exported data through MaxL to network (from the point of view of the Essbase server) drives without problem. Of course he gets excited network admins, but that's a different issue.

    Kind regards
