Bar internet icon showing 'not connected' when I am connected tasks.

I am able to connect to internet wireless and wired connections. However, when I am connected to the Internet by cable, the internet icon taskbar displays a red x over the empty bars wireless. The message displayed while I move the pointer over the icon is 'Internet access'.

When I'm connected to the wireless internet, the internet icon from the task bar shows a yellow star (error) with a message that 'Internet connections are available.

I tried a lot of things except the re-installation of windows. I disabled the adopters of network and active then those. I have those uninstalled and reinstalled the network (of window updates) with hp drivers. I corrected the permission settings and all have full access except the creator owner. I also reset the Task Manager task bar icons. Nothing has fixed the icon.

Y at - it someone who can save me re-installing Windows 7.

It telling me 'no media not connected' when you type Ipconfig.

Have you checked if the network adapter driver has been correctly installed and if there is no yellow exclamation point in Device Manager?

    Hello

Good luck, you need technical support for a real computer store or system manufacturer is supported.

Your router could be suspicious here, you have successfully updated its firmware as a possible solution? And I would like to
Update your WiFi drivers on computers. How you are positioned in the router? Are there
    obstacles in the path?

Actually try updating your driver and disabling the network logon. You can download these on another
computer if you need to and transfer on removable media.

Control Panel - network - write down of the brand and the model of the Wifi - double click top - tab of the driver - write
version - click the driver update (cannot do something that MS is far behind the pilots of certification). Then
Right click on the Wifi device and UNINSTALL - Reboot - it will refresh the driver stack.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

How to install a device driver in Vista Device Manager
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-Device-Manager-install-driver.html

Download - SAVE - go where you put it - right click – RUN AS ADMIN.

You can download several at once however restart after the installation of each of them.

After watching the system manufacturer, you can check the manufacturer of the device an even newer version. (The
manufacturer of system become your backup policies).

Repeat for card (NIC) network and is a good time to get the other updated drivers as Vista like
    updated drivers.

I would also turn off auto update for the drivers. If the updates Windows suggests a just HIDE as they
are almost always old, and you can search drivers manually as needed.

Make sure you know the details of connection to your wireless router - SSID and password.

You lose connection when you do and have to redo your logon.

Control Panel - Network & Sharing Center - right, click Customize - page set of network locations.
lower left click on merge or delete network locations - REMOVE all instances of your network (and the

  • Network and sharing Center shows not connected, but the computer is connected to the wireless network

When I open the network and sharing Center, or hold my mouse pointer on the icon of internet connection in the bottom right of the taskbar, it shows that I'm not connected to a network. However, I know that I'm connected to the internet. My internet and e-mail work correctly. Also, when I click on the 'Connect to a network' option, find the list of available wireless networks, and it shows that I'm connected to my home network. How can I make Windows everywhere where I am connected to the internet, instead of recognizing only on the list of the networks without wire-available?

Had exactly the same problem on Windows 7 (win7). Connected to the Internet but the status showing no connection and a red cross on the network icon. Problem has also caused problems to connect to Lync and Office365 along with VPN, which apparently uses the status to check whether the connection is available.

    Found the solution here: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/w7itpronetworking/thread/df17c593-e78f-4878-97b0-7569307934c5

Apparently, certain permissions gets hurt in the database record and must be fixed using RegEdit. The solution is a step by step and likely to be resolved simply by removing a cache of file using RegEdit and potentially affecting certain permissions.

How can I get my Canon printer/scanner is working again.

Unfortunately, Canon did not write all the drivers for v10.11 compatibility El Capitan. See here.

But what you can do is to try a reset. Make sure that the printer is turned on.

Open System Preferences > Printers and Scanners and select the print tab.

Right click or control your printer on the left, then click on: reset the printing system

Hello and welcome to the community!

I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) Service reference books

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you contact your mobile provider for formal support... After all, it's their network with which your BB is to have trouble communicating.

    Good luck!

    Hello

    Sorry for the late reply.
You have another user account to check if you are facing the same issue?
It would be possible that the user account is damaged.  Create a new user account and check.

If the problem is resolved in the new user account, this means that the old user profile is damaged.

  • Copy it / move the progress dialog box is absent and does not appear when you perform these tasks

Whenever I have move, copy/paste or cut/paste between windows folder nothing happens initially. After 10 to 60 seconds (depending on the number and size of files) they suddenly all appear at the same time in the other folder or begin to be displayed one by one. Because no progress bar / dialog box appears, I don't know if something happens and I often repeat the process (although, without knowing it, the action takes place). In the task bar, the folder icon does not show even a progress bar green on the icon to show that all this is happening. This problem occurs in all situations and all types of files, be it between folders on the same drive or on a network drive. I recently did a clean install of Windows 8 and, as far as I know, there are no other programs or major processes that occur in the background that may interfere with my actions. Finally, I also note that copying/moving/deleting files takes a lot more time than my previous Windows 7 environment. a 20 MB file copy immediately before, but it takes now longer than 5 seconds to complete.

    Very frustrating.

  • Error - Connection Internet Service does not start when try to start Windows Security Center.

Original title: Windows security center usually run in windows XP.

When I open the control panel and click on security, Windows Security Center indicates that it is not executed and wont run then when I try to turn it on I say error message does not start internet connection service. Also, my computer has been slowing way down lately and it takes forever to do even the simplest taskes. I just uninstall norton because my subscription ran out and then I installed MSE and malwarebytes MSE runs even slower, so I got rid of him.

    -Edit
I also tried to use FixIt, but he said that there was an error during installation.

Thank you. I had security work center. That's how I did it.

I wen to your link and found that I needed to go to start-my network places - view the network (in the sidebar) connections - click Properties (click on) Local Area Connection 2 - click on the Advanced tab - click settings (skip this step if who does not appear)

now, here, he said that there is an error and that I needed to start a process. I think it was 'Windows management instrumentation' but whatever it is, click Activate and change the startup type to automatic, and then click Start. then try to then you should do the same thing with

    • Application Layer Gateway Service
    • Network connections
    • Knowledge of the network (NLA) locations
    • Plug-and-Play
    • Remote Access Auto Connection Manager
    • Remote Access Connection Manager
    • Remote procedure call (RPC)
    • Telephony

Then Security Center. When you press OK in the properties, you should see a small lock appears on the network connections icon. now Security Center should work.
