  Hi all

  Due the fact that Apple has stopped development of opening I had to do a switch after several years of feeling 100% comfortable with an opening. After some research, it became clear that most of the people would recommend Lightroom. So I bought a copy.

  Import of my opening book is very well and included all my projects and notes (very important!). So far so good.

  Now, I tried to import photos newly shot of my Nikon D7100. Tried with the cable. Tried with the SC card in my Macbook Air. Lightroom still freezes when importing or is back with the 'message' that none of the pictures could be read.

  Returned to the opening. Connected to the camera. Quick import and 100% OK.

  I can't believe that Adobe releases a new version with such a major problem... Very frustrating... want my money back!

  Can anyone help? Is that a known issue - the fixes proposed in the forums don't work not (import options)? Will there be an update to Lightroom soon?

  Also, make sure that you have read and write access on the location where you import the images.

  It seems to be a big problem with card readers. I've attached another card reader (external), same problem.

  But no problem with the direct connection to Canon EOS M3

• 5 Lightroom stop unexpectedly after import photo

  Hi All-

  Since yesterday, whenever I have import first photos in Lightroom 5 on my mac it closes unexpectedly and any photos. Any advice?

  Could you please copy the images from the card to a folder on the desktop and then try to import the pictures in the folder.

  Let me know if you are able to import the images in the folder or not.

• Moving images to Lightroom 3.3 after importing an identical car

  Hello there...

  I'm having a problem with importing the photos that I hope someone can help me with.   I'm important from an external drive in the catalog and want them to stay on the hard drive, where they came.

  The hard disk where they are stored is listed under 'Files' and the content that is displayed below.   When I click on a file and import it, Lightroom creates another folder with the name of identicdal as the first hard drive and put the pictures in there.  So, it looks like this:

  Records

  HD PHOTOS 1

  2010-09-31

  17-10-2010

  12-12-2010

  2011 01 03 etc.  When I import, say, 2010 10 17, my left panel looks like this:

  HD PHOTOS 1

  2010-09-31

  (? 17 10 2010) passed out in writing

  12-12-2010

  2011 01 03 etc.

  HD PHOTOS 1

  17-10-2010

  Then see the folder on my hard drive in 2010-10-17 and 2010-10-17 labeled original file.

  No idea why it creates a second folder for PICTURES HD 1 and how can I stop it?   Thank you, Edna

• Lightroom CC freezes while import

  I'm on a pc in trial period of creative cloud and work for two weeks. Today, when I try to import the program repeatedly stops and crashes.  All of the suggestions.

  I appreciate your response.  I went in the application manager and disabled some startup applications that had a great effect on the performance of Google. LR import took immediately.  Have not yet tried your suggestion, but I will if necessary.thanks

• Lightroom keeps freezing up on top of me in the develop Module

  I'm working on a recent photo shoot. I downloaded my pictures as always. They're there, but when I go to work on them in the Module development overall the program freezes up, circle blue to sin, but nothing happens. I don't have the choice, but just stop it.

  Everyone knows about similar problems? It's just me. I've recently upgraded to Windows 10, which would have something to do with it?

• Lightroom CC - D810 Nikon raw file are too dark after import

  I see all my images appear underexposed by between half and up to 1 stop after importation. Curiously no noise in introduced by displaying the exhibition, but it makes no sense. The images look great on the camera LCD screen as I understand is based on JPEG files.

  I advised me to picture the value-neutral and contrast-1, sharpness at + 6 while the camera histogram produces something close to what the histogram of the image raw might seemed to make (if there was one).

  I've read elsewhere that restore the image control could have an impact on the imported raw images, is this the case? If so, is there anyway I can fix without of course just to erase the picture control settings?

  The in camera settings should not have an impact on the RAW photos. There is therefore no point moving them if you are shooting RAW. (Exception: white balance)

  In fact the d-lighting that has a huge influence on the raw data. When you activate it, the camera lowers ISO real he pulls the image (but the highest ISO reports that you set in the metadata file), and you end up having a picture that's actually underexposed by about one stop. Nikon software knows that the camera did this and automatically compensates for. Most of the brands of main cameras have a setting that is similar. Cannon called priority to highlight for example. Lightroom does not know what happened and presents an underexposed image regarding the format of JPEG in camera. However, this setting is off, the culprit is usually your auto is enabled (uncheck in the preferences-> Presets), a default camera is defined (often done by chance - clear all default values in the preferences-> Presets by clicking on "reset all settings default development), or a"Preset"is applied to importation. Check the import Panel and press "reset" on the previously imported images.

• Dialog import Lightroom CC no way to eject the disk after import?

  The new Lightroom screen that appears when I connect my computer with a flash card is confusing and overwhelming her aggressively. I can get used to it but first need to know how to control. I just want to see the flash memory card, I just plugged and not any possible place to get photos that I really want to see.   For existing images whose exposure have changed, please select all and go to photo > develop settings > reset.

  For import next session, please follow the steps below:

  1. Turn off apply tone auto under Lightroom preferences settings
  2. Restart Lightroom and then import images again.

• eject the card after import option missing from Lightroom CC 2015.2

  Yesterday, I upgraded to the last 2015.2 CC in Lightroom. The import Panel has changed a bit. But what worries me is that I can't find any where in the Panel to import for "eject card after import. And not the case in the preferences. I looked everywhere in this Panel.

  I would like to separate my jpg and raw files as soon as they are in lightroom (right after importation), so that all my jpg files are 1 after another on the Filmstrip below and my raw files are one after the other. is this possible?
