Managing photos in windows live mail.

Managing photos in windows live mail gives me grief. Can't resize so that I have a reasonable file size to send. Just switched to Outlook after the purchase of a new computer and colleagues, we arrived to copy our drive hard is not compatible microsoft so we advised not buying prospects. It was not an easy transition, and I would like some advice/help for photo management. Telephone support is not available... hmmm maybe our computer guy has a point that I would have been able to access the tech support if I had Outlook.

I don't really know why using your windows live Mail as a source photo management.

  • How can I send photos using Windows Live Mail?

I tried pointing out the pictures in my pictures and then clicking on send, and I tried in Windows Live Mail, by clicking on the Photo by e-mail (SkiDrive).  Whatever it is, everything seems fine until I got the email. Then, there is a long wait, and ultimately, I get:

Windows Live Mail - Error ID: 0 x 80004002, Protocol SMTP, Port 25. "Some errors have occurred during the processing of requested tasks".

I run Windows Live Mail on Windows 7, 64-bit.

Can anyone help?  There is a problem with the parameters of security, or a fault, or do I have to download an add-on?  I have IE 8, but I use it - I use Firefox instead. I can't print or preview in IE8 or Windows Live Mail and have not found a solution for that - but I don't know if this has nothing to do with not being able to use Photo Email/SkiDrive.

    Thanks for any help,

    Alan

  • Windows live mail will not send any photo in the library

In the Live Mail has not been able to send photos to the photo gallery for some reason any when you send a photo of the last week, he continues to try and upload the photo to locks and onedrive live mail.  Most of the time I got out of the lock by using the Task Manager, yesterday, it doesn't work either.  Had to go to my email provider and change my password and then re connect to live mail.  Same problem today so I have created a Gmail and live mail-related so I could send pictures.  I also downloaded picasa3 to manage my photos.  I'm the only one having this problem and if not what have others done.  Apparently, Microsoft does not make something to solve the problem.  Thank you

Were you able to send and receive at all?
Your ISP (internet service provider) is Verizon, but what do you use as mail client? i.e. Windows Live Mail?
    Your server names are:
    Incoming server: incoming.verizon.net
    Outgoing server: outgoing.verizon.net
How to change the names of servers. The method applies to both Windows Mail and Windows Live Mail...
Open your e-mail program, > menu bar, tools > Options > accounts > clicking on the verizon account > properties > tab servers make your changes here > click OK when finished.

Note: you may have problem with port #25 send, if this is the case, change it to 587.
Sorry to be honest, I have the feeling that you never have the Setup program before your e-mail account. If so, please call Verizon for the technical help section, ask them to lead you through setting up an e-mail account. They might have a website for this purpose.

  • Why don't I do drag and drop photos in real size of more attachments in the new Windows Live Mail?

I am a real estate photographer, and one of the things I have to do on a regular basis is to send pictures to people. They need these photos as attachments. I downloaded the new Windows Live Mail and I noticed that I can't not simply 'Drag and Drop' photo attachments. Instead, Windows Live mail has resized the picture down and put a boarder around it. I went through the settings and I don't see anywhere I can click to the program, what he had ALWAYS done before, that was simple. Now to send a file, I have to click on the "Attachment" button, navigate my external drives and find the file that I send. I have hundreds of customers and too many files having to negotiate through. I prefer to be able to slide and have it set out in its full dimension, as I always did before in previous versions of WLM and Outlook Express.

I ALSO can not simply with the right button on a photo, select "send to" and then 'recipient' and attach files there either. Now, it uploads to the Skydrive. My customers don't want it. They do not want additional steps. They just want an email with attached files.

Please tell me what I'm doing wrong. I can't imagine that you got rid of those simpler features. Please don't tell me you didn't get rid of the simple ability to re size and attach pictures, did you?

I need to return to the previous version of mail but do not know how and what I lose my contacts and emails from the Inbox?

1: what version of previous mail? Win7 has no default program.

2: is it a POP3 account? Open a new message window and then attach the photos. No need for supplements.

  • How to configure Windows Live Mail to send photos

I can't send pictures in Photoshop format.  He requested an audit of the code that I don't have.  I need to open the pictures in the format of Windows Live Mail.

    Hi George,.

    > I can't send photos in Photoshop format.  He requested an audit of the code that I don't have.  I need to open the pictures in the format of Windows Live Mail. >

Photoshop has no control on the Windows OS email application requirements. I think you will like the Forum of Microsoft. But while I'm Mac, not Windows and cannot say what will make Windows Mail, if you want to send pictures that are PSD files, you can try zipping the first. I don't know if you will be able to open them in Windows Live Mail. I don't know what it is. But the zip format might make it possible to send them a mail.

  • How can I remove all facebook contacts in my contacts from windows live mail?

All Facebook contacts are listed in my Windows Live email account, I don't want to or we need them. If I want to communicate with them, I'll do so via Facebook.

My email has been hacked so I want contacts as little as possible! I won't be able to post my photos to Windows live Photo so I don't want to remove the connection between FB and Windows all together! But when I try to remove a Messenger contact, if it's a FB contact, he does not have the delete option! Help!

    Hi Theresa,

Welcome to Microsoft Community where you can find the answers related to Windows.

According to the description, it seems you are trying to remove the contact from facebook to Windows Mail.

Contacts Windows replaces the Windows address book in earlier versions of Windows. Windows contacts functions as the address book for Windows Mail. You can also use Windows Contacts by itself, to track information about people and organizations.

See the following Microsoft article and check.
