Manufacturing of H.264 video poor quality

Hello, I tried to make a video about a game that I was playing with a resolution of 1080 p. The video I recorded went well, but when I put in aftereffects and made it looked horrible. He said it was a 1080 p video, but it was absolutely not. I changed all the settings in super high resolution, and my computer setting super high to, but he keeps doing the same thing?

First of all your image size must be 1920 x 1080.  You have a size of the model which is standard and if maintained in the render clogged up to color sampling. H.264 has a narrow compatible set of heights and frame rates. Video should never be an odd number of disguise high or wide. Unless you know exactly what that you do no composition settings should should never say custom.

Second, the rendering Cue cannot do the multi-pass processing mpeg (h.264) required to do a good job on the subtle colors. Also your flow is really low for HD.

If you want h.264 high quality, you must use one of the presets in the Adobe Media Envoder. You can render compositions directly, but a better choice would be to remove a lossless master of the rendered mark so that compress in the SOUL.

  • Export of Adobe Media Encoder CC 2015 H.264, very poor quality compared to VLC

    Hello

I do a few screencast with VLC Media Player (www.videolan.org, free and open source), it picks up my office and exports the file to H.264 format at 25 fps. Can I change this in the body and also to export the video in the H.264 format.

All right, but... The original video files of VLC has a good quality with a very low rate (200 Kbps), and when I try to export the edited with the same flow of SOUL video, the quality is just horrible! Artifacts, fuzzy, with a few blocks... Even if I export with a rate over 20 times higher than the original file (4400 Kbps), the quality is not as good as the original.

Here is a comparison between the export of three:

    comparison.png

Can you explain to me why there is a big difference even if the flow is multiplied by 20? Here are the settings of export (with a rate of 400 Kbps):

Thank you very much for your help and please excuse my bad English

Any time you take a highly compressed encoded video and then re - encode at such a low rate, it will look bad. In this case, your examples are not surprising at all.

I don't know how VLC it coded in the first place (color space limited?), but I know that for some that you'll never get a good video performance with such a low flow and a high resolution - especially since you're re-encoding video already highly compressed.

As a suggestion, regardless of your final settings, 2-pass encoding will give you a slightly higher quality for your budget to flow. 1 pass encoding in my experience is generally better for situations where you are not worried about bitrate, or when you need to code something quickly.

    Good luck with your efforts!

  • Video poor quality DX80

Have a p2p between 2 DX80s meeting.  The video quality is poor.  The guy is registered a 10.5 CUCM - cisco switches/routers.  circuit 20meg.  I have a solid 8mbps between each end point during a file transfer.  I don't think I'll have problems with bandwidth.  I don't think I have jitter.  The video quality is pixelated, plotters when people walk by - slow to respond to rapid movement.

Any troubleshooting ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Have you shot upwards from call statistics in a call and see what is currently negotiating the call? 360 p/720 p etc? In addition, who will also show if you see packets loss/jitter etc. My intuition is his negotiating a rate of call...

  • Why my video transitions PS have poor quality during playback?

I created a slide show using layers and created a group of video. This transforms the layers into the add-on parts.

I added a melted transition chained between each item in the Assembly.

Everything is played back nicely in PS.

When I export to mp4 and play it in Quicktime, no matter what the magnification, the transitions look horrible. Even if I freeze frame on one he is horribly pixelated. I tried with the same results different export options. Something seems to be the case when rendering transitions, as if the PS does not know how to create them.

    I export to:

    Adobe Media Encoder

    H.264

    High quality

    1920 x 1080 (same as my file)

    Frame Rate 30 fps

    Order of fields: preset (progressive)

    Range = all frames

    My stats are:

    PS CS6

    27 "iMac

    10.6.8

    800 GB of free space

12 GB of ram 8 free

I do not use Photoshop for video experiences then guess here, but you say that H.264, but not what preset you use. In PremPro there is something like a 100 options for H.264 prest try something like Vimeo HD 1080 p 29.97, but instead export the whole video, drag the markers in the video preview window, contains just enough to see if it works.  Which will save you a bunch of times.     You can select VBR 2 pass parameters Citrate in media encoder?  The parameter Vimeo 5Mbs for the target bit rate should easily give you nice transitions, but you can ride if you want, at the expense of the size of the file.

  • Poor quality and poor framerate with best export settings

Hello, this is my first post, I searched the forums, watch videos on youtube, etc, but don't never came across something like this before, but anyway let's get down to the heart of the problem at a time!

I am currently using Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 (Version 6.0.2)

    Specifications of the PC

    -Intel Core i7-4720HQ CPU @ 2.60 GHz

    -16 GB OF RAM

    GTX - 960 M graphics card

    The problem:

I have been using CS6 6 months now and not had a problem since day one.

The videos that I do are gameplay videos captured at 60 fps 1080 p with 36857 Kbps Total bitrate.

The videos where export with large 60 fps framerate, quality, as it should in the first place.

But everything changed one day after I did everything with the same agenda, as I did each time and video when exported was of poor quality and the rate was 30 frames per second.

BUT, when I am trying to check the properties of the video exported, everything is as I put is on the export settings, even if the vacuum has dicreased quality and bad frame rate (30 fps) up.

    I am exporting as follows:

    -Format: H.264

    -Basic video settings:

    -Width: height of 1920 1080

    -Frame rate: 59.94

-Order of fields: Progressive (it doesn't let me change it)

    -Appearance: Square Pixels (1.0)

    Tv - standard: NTSC

    -Profile: high

    -Level: 4.2

    -Rendering to maximum depth (verified)

    Flow settings:

-Bitrate VBR, 2 pass encoding (I also made 2 pass, but had the same effect)

    -Target speed [Mbps]: 36,82

    -Maximum Bitrate [Mbps]: 62.5

    Advanced settings:

    -Key Frame Distance 72 (verified)

Use maximum quality rendering (verified) use Previews (verified)

    I finally understood everything!

So when I started the project for some reason, I had chosen under the option 'Make and video playback' Renderer: Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (CUDA) instead of Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (Open CL).

After that everything worked perfectly as it should in the first place.

Thanks to everyone who tried to help me understand my annoying error!

  • Reading fades in and out of poor quality

So I'm on a MacbookPro, 4 GB of Ram, running Mac OS x 10.6.6 with first Pro 5 and my reading doing this weird thing where the quality snaps in and out. It'll look exactly as it should, then the image type of split into layers. The top layer moves diagonally in worse and worse quality then snaps back to normal quality for a moment. The lower layer is simply poor quality. These aren't real layers, just trying to describe this problem very strange as best as I can.

Any info on how I could solve this problem would be greatly appreciated and more info if you need will be willingly given.

The value of reading full resolution; looks like the split caused by playback H.264 resolution of 1/2 or lower. Note that this will require more computer and will result probably of video frames and unmovable stuttering.

  • EP 14 - menus DVD look at grain-y and poor quality even if the content of actual film seems well

First Elements 14 - FILM and DVD MENU BURNING

QUESTION #1: HELP!   I spent days and days trying to figure out why the DVD menus look so grain-y and poor quality even if the content of actual film seems well. I upgraded from 12 to 14 items first thinking that would improve the quality, but no luck.  I made my film with many segments video, titles, etc., fading in and out of the extra audio tracks. It all works very well.

Then, when I select the Menu move and there the process... and the result... is simply unacceptable. I chose the "Pan and Zoom" model, even if I wanted to use my own background for the main Menu and the following menus images, because it was the only model with 6 thumbnails per page. I downloaded many sizes of different files and resolutions of my background images, thinking that this one would work.  I even found the original "Pan and Zoom". Model PSD files on my hard drive and checked the length of number of pixel and width, more inches in length and width, more DPI.

Each of my own images (including one I formatted the exact size of the model "Pan and Zoom") looks a lot like pixelated, when I preview the movie... or actually make a DVD in first of 12 elements.  In the first 14 elements, burn a DVD does not even operate.  The disc resulting is not playable on any of my computers or DVD players.  It comes to my QUESTION #2.

Is it possible to download a few screenshots to help you see what my poor quality menus looks like compared to the high quality film?

I don't know what is happening with your DVD writer. It could be material, may be a driver, could be another program maintaining Premiere Elements to it. (Nero is famous for this).

But if your DVD is burning as a file on your hard drive, then the program has done what it can. And you can easily use a free software called ImgBurn to burn DVD files to a disc. (As I noted in my books, this is the way I and a number of other publishers prefer to work for a number of reasons.)

The program creates a VIDEO_TS folder on your D drive or if she has created an ISO file?

  • Poor quality of the sound in the timeline and export; very well in the Source?

    Hi all.

Newbie-Pr but experienced pro audio digital. I am confused and I know I am missing just something somewhere.

I made a video for one of my songs. The graphics are quite (in AE), imported Pr and everything what is superb. I import the final audio mix and it sounds very poor quality when played the chronology and the final output, regardless of the format (I tried several presets and custom as well settings). I played a bit and noticed that the audio sounds fine when played in the Source window inside the Prime Minister.

The session of Pr is comrised of 18 video tracks (not all playing at the same time, of course) and a stereo audio track.

I tried to re - export audio from logic to depths of different bits, sampling frequencies and formats of file (mp3, wav, AAC, etc.) but the results are the same each time: Source (Pr) sounds very good, logic output sounds very well made / reading of the timeline looks very bad quality mp3 and produces final sounds just as bad.

I tried everything I can think of. I hope one of you can show me what I'm missing.

    TIA!

Graphics  ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT 256 MB

    Software  OS X 10.9.1 (B 13, 42)

    Thanks for the reply!

I lived the same results, no matter what I used the export settings. In addition, the poor quality of the sound was present in the timeline itself, without even exporting the project.

Finally, I lifted my hands, has launched a completely new project, the same audio file in drugs... sounded good. Copied / pasted the video clips in the project original, broken and boom, everything is fixed. Yes, corrupted file Pr, it turns out. All I had to do was start a new project and import all the old components.

I had to do that in logic a lot (more and more these days). I wish just that I had tried 10 hours earlier! HA.

Anyway, problem solved and many thanks!

  • Satellite C660D webcam very poor quality

    Hello

I bought my laptop 2 weeks ago and have only begun to use my webcam today.
It is of very poor quality and flashes.
What happens during the day in a good light as well when it's dark outside with light.

    My os is windows7 x 64.
Yes, the plastic film is out of the front of it, I checked.
I reinstalled the driver twice and is still the same poor quality.
I restarted the process in both Device Manager.

Please help I can't think of anything I can do.

I put t know which model of laptop you have, but Satellite C660D has generally not HD cam but 0.3 M Pixcel camera only. And with this cam, you can't expect excellent image.

There is nothing you can do. If the cam is installed properly, you can just try change the settings of the cam in the hope that the image will be a little better.
When I compare 0, 3 m pixcel cam on old L300 and now 1.0 M (HD) Pxcel camera into my new P500 the difference is simply huge.
