Microsoft ISATAP #4 map does not
Map Microsoft ISATAP #4 does not. This device does not work properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)
rlgriffin70,
You should go to gateway website and download the latest driver for your network card. Go into Device Manager and uninstall the network adapter that is having the problem. Then, restart the computer and let Vista find the network card and install it. Then go to Device Manager and update the driver to the newest one that you downloaded.1. open Device Manager by clicking the Start button, click on the Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, and then clicking Device Manager. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
2. in Device Manager, look for the network adapter, and then double-click the name of the adapter.
3. click Driver tab, then click on set to update driver and follow the instructions.Let us know if you need more information.
Thank youGloria

Internet connection drops every 30 minutes
I'm chasing a frustrating problem on one of our HP laptops.
The laptop loses its internet connection after 30 to 60 minutes, and the only way to get it back is to restart the PC.
The PC is a dv6 Pavilion with Intel Core i5 processor chip.
Operating system is Win7 Home Premium SP1
Network adapters that I show are:
Intel WiFi Link 1000 BGN
Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter
Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter #2
Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller
Antivirus is MS Security Essentials
Router is a Cisco/Linksys E1500
The modem is Actiontec M1000
Is DSL through Qwest
The error message we get when internet stop working, said something about "cannot find DNS", I will copy it down the next time it happens.
The PC only to lose the connection is this.
Reset the modem and the router not to find an internet connection.
The problem occurs if the PC is connected via a cable or wireless
When the PC loses the internet connection I can still see and ping it to other PC, and you can still see the other PC.
Here's what we've done so far without success:
Run the Network Diagnostics can not find the question
Router and modem reset
Reset TCP/IP and restarted (netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt)
Off the hidden network adapters:
6to4 MS card
Map of ISATAP MS 1-4
Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface
(all these returned when we restarted)
Change DNS servers on the local network, Wi - Fi and on different servers
Change the DNS from the router to the same servers 2 servers
Restored the PC on 2 previous restore points
Update Intel WiFi driver
Don't scan last Antimalwarebytes - no problems found
Turned off the firewall
Removed McAfee (hate this stupid show)
I am at a loss what to do next. Any ideas?
We try to be methodical obviously, starting with the simple and more complex.
Thank you!
IanHey archaeologist.
I'm sorry that you run on the wireless issue. I need to know your number of complete product, the Intel wireless driver version number and the version number of the BIOS.
Press FN + ESC keys to find your BIOS (' f # ') and product number.
To find your version number wireless driver:

I suggest slaving the hard drive to another computer to back up your data (or a boot disk OS which you leave copy on a USB device and backup your stuff).
Then wipe the hard drive clean (DBAN or KillDisk - both are free) and then using system restore restore disks.

I have a number of questions at the moment and wonder if they are related between them and how to fix each one.
1. I have sometimes received error: 0xC004D401 "an unauthorized change was made to windows" that force restart the laptop, then the same error comes up and force reboots and this loop until I force shutdown.2. I constantly get the message "host process for Services Windows has stopped working and was closed... ».3 - My Device Manager displays many symbols yellow exclamation point of 'error' of the brand that are appearing next to "Network adapters", Microsoft 6to4 adapt #13; Map Microsoft 6to4 #14; Map Microsoft 6to4 #3; Map Microsoft ISATAP #13; Microsoft ISATAP # 17 and card Microsoft ISATAP #18. I tried to "Update" of these device managers and looking for changes, but he keeps saying that everything is up to date...It's really frustrating because it affects my internet connection (wireless usb modem) and also the proper functioning of my laptop. At this point I could not even access my photo albums and document records they were no where!. My laptop is an Hp and everything just 2 years now and runs on Windows Vista. This type of error is often related to incompatible software. If this happened recently, you could try a system restore to an earlier time. Vista is up-to-date service pack?
System Restore:
Start > type 'restore' > search for system restore and choose a date. You can also check the programmes concerned.

Network drivers no longer will charge after upgrade to Vista Home Premium sp2.
On a laptop Sony PCG - 7113 L VGN-NR220E, that is running Windows Vista Home Premium sp1, I tried to upgrade to sp2 who said he could not make the transfer and restarted, tried once more and then restored sp1. All came back as the same with the exception of all the network drivers cannot be loaded. Here is a list of drivers who have failed.

- Marvell Yukon 88E8039 PCI-E Fast Ethernet
- Controller of
- LAN0Express AS IEEE 802.11 g PCI-E fit
I went back to the site from Sony and all the latest drivers downloaded from the site and tried to install. Only some allowed me to do even while administering it, but even those that didn't load on reboot even if it finds the drivers.
I tried to uninstall the drivers in Device Manager, but nothing helped. None of the drivers loaded when you restart. I tried disabling verification of driver and reinstall the network drivers that I downloaded from Sony site without success. Then I tried to download a driver directly from Marvell Yukon site for its pilot, but which also failed.
Given that this approach did not work, I tried to get sp2 to load looking for why it was not installing. I found a patch that was supposed to help the installation in certain situations that I loaded and sp2 installation I tried again a full download on another computer, which has not the same way. I then tried to load sp1 over himself, but he refused, saying he was already loaded.
I tried to start off backups old session, but without success. I wouldn't have to reinstall the operating system everywhere, especially since I don't even know if the owner of the computer has a copy of the operating system.
It seems to be that something related to all the fuction of network that worked before you attempt the installation of sp2 and was obvious immediately after. Is there something I can do to restore the network features without a complete reinstallation of the operating system?

Free unlimited installation and compatibility support is available for Windows Vista, but only for Service Pack 2 (SP2). This support for SP2 is valid until August 30, 2010.

See you soon.

Nothing else to do, Windows will do the rest. And you can ignore errors if
you want and on some computers, it will always be there but don't cause any trouble. On a Windows Vista-based computer or on a Windows Server 2008-based computer, the
