Map of blackBerry Smartphones transfer Media to the device memory

I have a few rings I bought and you want to transfer. I update the Mem Card a 8 GB of the 120 MB and you must place these ringtones on the device memory and then put in a larger map and then transfer to the Mem card. Can someone give me some step by step directions if possible. Thank you as always. Eldon

The media icon > Explore > go to your desired ringtone and don't open it, just highlight it > Menu > move.

From there you access the memory of your device and drop it into the similar ringtone folder.

You can also copy off your ringtones on your PC by allowing the storage of mass on your media card Options > Media Card.

Then plug your BB to the USB port and you should be an option for a removable folder in my computer on your PC.

  • BlackBerry Curve 8330 Smartphone saves files in the device memory

I am an experienced BlackBerry user and currently have a 8330.  I have a micro-SD 4 GB installed and no matter how many times I select 'save on the memory card media', after a few days or an unknown event, the unit will automatically return to the option 'save the media in the device memory.  Sounds like a software problem, then I want to see if anyone else has had the issue.

Well, there is no problem in the database. My thought is to return the service directories and update the device options. The next would be to charge your device OS.

  • BlackBerry smartphones transfer photos from the memory of the unit storm 9530 for computer

I've seen a few similar posts, but nothing worked for me.  I recently went on a trip and took more than 200 pictures on my Blackberry.  I need a simple way to transfer all of them to my computer because obviously send them one at a time, or moving them one at a time is not practical.

When I go to Options > memory, all the options are defined on the (card, Media Transfer Protocol Support) and Mass Storage Mode Support.

When I go to media > pictures > all pictures, I see all of my pictures.  When I go into photo files, it says the device memory.

When connected to my PC via the USB port, I try to pull up in Windows Explorer.  I see options for device MTP - device memory and device MTP - Media Card.  There are only empty folders in the device memory.  Multimedia card has nothing under the data and only my music files in the media.  Similar behavior when I pull up in Windows Media Player.

  • BlackBerry Z10 create folders in the device memory

I tried severlly to create a folder at the root of the peripheral drive. All I get is "You must." authorized to perform this action I did research cela all day. I went to PROPERTIES, then SECURITY and thus on to change permission settings, take in hand the folder and so on. Once I APPLIED, he said: access is denied.

Who knows how to do this, or it is impossible to create files/directories to the root of the device memory?

I feel ogical need to post this here just in case someone else has a similar question.

Here's how I found the song ads question:

In BB Torch, I simply copied my songs because they were (in folders) in the torch, and they have been recognized and Categorized like that. It's different in Z10. If you would like your songs listed by Album, then all the songs that you want identified as belonging to the same album must be named/renamed/classified/recatogorized way you want listed.

I could almost hear someone say, duh! But here's how I did it. It's more work for me, but my songs are how I want them now. No multiple records for the same album.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones after switch of the device to the same model, BB missing Apps (like cards and password keeper)

I had problems for a long time with my keyboard on my BB Bold 9900, so finally I was given a used to toggle Bold 9900. I have used the functionality of the switch device of BlackBerry Desktop (v7.1) software and was off and running on my 'new' "BOLD". Finally, I noticed that the cards and password keeper are missing on my new phone. I did a lot of digging through our corporate HelpDesk, phone call from mobile provider support, and if Google search (incl. various BlackBerry support forums). Nowhere is that I found a solution that worked.

A number of sources did the download card www.blackberry.com/ but that results in a message of "Opinion sorry, your device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support BlackBerry Maps."

When I look in the Applications tab of BB Desktop Software, BlackBerry Maps is not listed (is not password keeper).

Two of my phones are running OS 7.1 Bundle 2840. Carrier SaskTel (part of the network of Bell Mobility).

    Any ideas?

From what you describe, something is not right when you installed/updated / switched devices. Thus, a clean reload of the OS would be the right thing to do. The easiest way is, on a PC (you can not do on MAC):

    (1) make sure that you have a current backup and your BB complete... you can find the instructions at the link in my auto-sig below.

    2) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,

    (3) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

    (4) download and install on your computer, the BB OS package you want:

    • If all you want are the levels of BONE, it is first sorted by carrier - the carrier supports, your search will be fast. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To really get the package up-to-date OS for your BB, you need to dig through and find all businesses that support your specific model BB and then compare the BONE levels they support.

    5) remove all copies of the SELLER on your PC. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

6 (a) to change your level of BB OS installed (at level or lower), you can run the Desktop software and connect your BB... the software should offer the operating system package you have installed on your PC.

6 (b) or, for recharging your BB OS level installed as well to change, work around the Desktop software and use the CHARGER. EXE directly, through step 2 in this process:

If, during the process of 6a or 6 b, your BB has an error '507', simply unplug the USB of the BB cord and reinsert it. do nothing else... This should allow the installation to continue.

If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not see the device on my computer memory

    Hello

I have Blackberry 9000 with a 16 GB SD card.

I am able to sync my calendar with my laptop running Vista successfully.

    Parameters of memory are:

    Media card support: on

    Encryption mode: no

    Mass storage Mode support: on

Enable Auto... When connected: Yes (I tried both guest)

The card has been formatted with the BB.

I have not been able to 'see' my BB or the card memory in Windows.  I tried 3 computers (an XP and Vista 2) does not.  In one of them, I even tried remapping all the drives except C: SC E:, F:, etc..

    Any help would be appreciated.

I had the same problem.  Support BB said on the phone was defective and he was replaced by ATT.  Replacement phone had the same problem.  But I found an unofficial patch for the problem; EM.  BB technical support said they do not support this difficulty, although they acknowledged that the problem set is actually a real problem that occurs.

If your "BOLD" is under warranty have BB tech says that it is defective and get a new one.  Otherwise try your luck with the unofficial fix - it worked perfectly on both phones ATT sent me (but I'm still back together and insisting that ATT send me a phone that works - I should not have to rely on a 3rd party program to repair a defective phone.)

Do a google search for this exact phrase: "some people have problems with the mass memory" and go to the forum of pinstack site that google finds. Yes, it's "are have" in the expression you are looking for.  It was not a typo.

You will have to join pinstack (it's free) to download the patch.  If it works for you do not forget to thank the OP there.  He did a great service to anyone struggling with this problem.

  • Things of blackBerry Smartphones and Media Card storage device

    Hello.

The bottom of the problem I encountered is my computer only detect media card but not the storage device when I connected the device to the CPU by using the USB cable. What should I do? My media card has been dismantled, and I have some files in the storage of the device I want to move to the computer.

I don't think that the 9105 support internal memory. That means whatever it be saved would be saved in the database 'content store. You would need to make a backup of the device and restore this database to another device of BB in order to obtain these data.

Go through each application and then press close. Go to the menu press browser and options select cache operations clear all categories and reached escape it will say cleaning memory

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Getting fatal when the device 4.5 software update

    Hello

I have a BB 8800 and I wanted to update the device software to the last v4.5 as mentioned on the website of blackberry. So, I downloaded 8800M_PBr4.5.0_rel108_PL2.7.0.78_A4.5.0.81_Rogers.exe and used the last office v4.7 to install it. The process went well until near the end, he has made a fatal error with no specific error code or message and after that my camera did nothing about it. It shows just a screen white with code 507 or 561.

I could get by installing Desktop Manager v4.3. and by following the instructions here:

    http://CrackBerry.com/BlackBerry-101-lecture-12-how-reload-operating-system-nuked-BlackBerry

I don't know if the USB power management was the cause, but I could go.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Emails sent from the device is not displayed in the "sent"box and "BIS" question

    Dear all and Rim:

New to the BB world, need more help...

AOL mailbox to connect with 'Tour' with success, the service provided by Verizon.

Emails sent from the device are not show to AOL "Sent Box" or "IMAP" Outlook Express / outgoing server "POP" record "SMTP."

Really need copies of "Sent Box", thanks for the help!

Also try to put in place 'BIS' accout, error message says:

"Your account is not accessed through a browser HTML...".

Please use your device to access the Black Berry Internet services"

    I used this link:

    https://bis.na.BlackBerry.com/HTML?brand=VZW

    Thank you,

    Jan

For the mail issue seems to send me a copy is the only way to go, right?

    This would be a solution.

And on the BRI, my test was on a PC, it did not work...  Anyway, I was going to connect to the BIS to work on my question above, but seems that it does not help now, then it does not matter if I enter or not.

Well, it's quite strange... I just used who link me (from a PC) and get my BIS account very well. You can, however, use the interface for device BIS - watch this demo that I you provided above for instructions on this. BIS is simply a service provided by your operator. The PC/Web site method and device interface - these are simply two different interfaces in the same Department, so using one or the other is not serious... they cause the same thing.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry smartphones software update of the device since 31/08/2009!

    Hi all

I am living in the Kuwait and my ISP is Zain and the Kuwait.

before 2-3 weeks, I got my BB Curve 8900 through the Application in my Desktop Manager 5 loader, when I run the update and after starting the application responsible for the search for new and legacy software, I get a list of software of the device (firmware) which are available for download and I can choose between versions , reinstall the current downgrade and improve.

Since 08/31/2009, when I run the application loader - > software update, I still get no results and he says my software is up to date and im 100% sure that it's not because I went down before, the latest version was 4.6.1.250 and I installed it is 4.6.1.206 as the new version is not Arab.

So my question is, why I can not get the list of device software, so I can choose the version I want?

I've tried it on several computers and several internet connections and still he could not get it.

    Your answers are greatly appreciated
