MapField, first zoom

OK, the question is simple (or is it?)
Here is the sequence to show a place like MapField:
1. create the MapField object or drift MapField.
2. Add to a Director.
3. set the location by calling (...) moveTo.
Now, how to set the first appearance of the map zoom?
I mean, sometimes card appears too zoomed in, and only after the out-in zoom, it seems OK.
I tried to put the min zoom, as

setZoom(getMinZoom());

before or after the call to moveTo (.), but on some places 'first' always wrong zoom.

BTW, all the time, I checked (for all my pitches) min zoom is 0.

Thanks for the question, that might be the problem-I run JDE 4.7 with 9000 Simulator, 4.6.0.125.
I reinstalled JDE to more appropriate (4.6) and it works now.
I mean, like this:

_mapField.setZoom(_mapField.getMinZoom());_mapField.moveTo(_lat, _lon);

    Hi all

I am getting white screen in mapfield after zoom in...

I tried to move the latitude and longitude of the mapfield, I used to open the mapfield.

    Any idea.

Hi M Sohm, thanks for the answer...

Use the BB 9000 "BOLD" and S/w version is 4.6

The issue that I was facing is now resolved. It was because of the null pointer exception. I use Bitmapfields, to draw locations. When to perform a zoom or pan down, then the x, position y fields become a negative value. so I have limited drawing markers, that are out of the display area...

    Thanks M Sohm for answer...!

  • In the 'in elements of first zoom transitions '.

I am changing my clips to move images always in first 8 and I am doing my transitions in the video transitions button. I looked through all of them and I can zoom from a photo to another and the second image "pops" out or on the edge, but I want another 'down' on the following image to Zoom image. I want the focal point in the following image, is it possible to do? In other words as you give depth to the next image. I hope that I am clearly explain to me.

Certainly, you can manually create this effect by using keyframes. Do you know how to use key frames?

  • Curriculum vitae of hand, tool and zoom

I apologize for this easy research question, but neither documentation nor my own tests seem to indicate a clear answer.

I have a graph of waveform and I use the zoom and hand on the graphic palette tool.

    1. after the application of the hand tool, how can I resume to the original curve?

    2. I have to zoom in a part of the graph several times consecutively, say twice. After the secodn zoom, I would take the result of the first zoom.
The way the features of zoom-in and zoom-out work generally.

In the graphic palette, the icon at bottom left of the zoom features, simply offer the opportunity to return to the initial version of the chart.

I couldn't find a way to get a zoom-out extra as described above?

    Y at - it all?

    Thank you!

    MG.

    (1) use the Zoom all

    (2) you must programmatically.  When you zoom in, store the scale data X and Y (max and min).  You can make a button to return to the previous zoom then assigning data to scale with the values that you stored.

  • Pinch and Zoom - synchronization problem

    Hello

Since v25, iPad Apps have a pinch and Zoom synchronization problem. If hitting swipe to a page, you cannot directly Pinch & zoom, using the two finger gestures. Firstly, it must wait 1 to 2 seconds (whats darn long) until you can zoom. Even if the PDF page is fully loaded (already sharp/readable).

On some pages that do not have something different than the other pages, you must first zoom out, before zooming in works.

Very strange problem. Someone at alse noticed the same thing?

I'm using the latest tools of InDesign CS5.5 v25.

    Kind regards

    Yves

We have seen problems with pinch and zoom on v25. It is not so much a timing problem that the gesture is very sensitive to how far your fingers are when you start pinching. We turn to her with a fix in v26.

  • Veeam and Vmware replication

    Hi guys

We are a data center that provides services with replication of Veeam, now a customer is thinking to reproduce their site but using Vmware replication...

you see nothing wrong with having two different products, reproducing in our Datacenter or say 1 vCenter?

Important Veeam replicates a group of virtual machines and Vmware replication will replicate another different group of virtual machines

    Thank you very much

    Hi Escapem2,

Yes, it should be possible. There is not no problem if you use two sellers for a data center or 1 VC from the point of view of replication. You'll have to make sure all the configuration requirements are met.

In the replication of VMware, you will need to install the unit of replication vSphre, Sami is managed based on using the web client. On the other hand, Veem replication has their console where you add your ESXi or VC.

Both these replication technologies are at VM level, there should be no problem until you choose a different set of virtual machines for setting replication job. (There will not be any conflict)

Prospect management VMware replication helps as it is managed by the same web client that manages the entire VMware infrastructure. But there will be a difference from the point of view feature set.

I suggest you first zoom before why customer wishes to go for VMware replication and make the right decision. But you can use the two together.

  • "Pan/Scroll" on Wacom Intuos 5 button causes lag in Photoshop CC 2015

I use the button at the bottom on my stylus Intuos 5 "pan/Scroll. I used it frequently in cs6 quick pan and zoom around Photoshop documents. In CC 2015, however, there is a problem with the help of this button. The first shot, I do all button ' pan'scroll ' is fine, but the following traits that I do without releasing the button are interrupted by a half second delay when the document doesn't move at all, then immediately refreshes at my current position of the cursor. A similar thing happens when you zoom using Ctrl + alt + pan/scroll. The first zoom as usual, then subsequent shots do nothing for the first half of the second. Yet once, it is not arrived at all on cs6, and with the speed at which I usually panned and zoomed around documents, this severely cripples my ability to use the program. I'm running on Windows 7 and it's the only issue I'm having with CC 2015.

  • Parameters for a big screen project

    Hi all

I guess that's a fundamental question to which the answer is maybe easier. I m a first basic user

I m trying to make the big screen projects and allows you to export a DVD that fits perfectly in the video still LCD screens and televisions big screen... My workflow is:

I m starting new projects using the DV-NTSC file > Widescreen 48 kHz

The imported videos come from a mixture of Panasonics 2 AGDVC20P and 1 Sony HD1000. Sony HD1000 records Panasonics and 16:9 4:3 (I use a little at first zoom to fit the screen).

After completing the first I render the project and go to file > Adobe Dynamic Link > Send in yet. The menus and create a DVD.

But the problem is: I see on my TV the picture looks like 16:9, but still black stripes appears up and down the image (tested on several TVs and the same).

    What Miss me?

Should be a different size than 720 x 480 and the format of pixels 1,2121 as DV Widescreen profile together?

    Whatever it is at yet?

Thank you very much for the help.

    Gustavo.

    Gustavo,

Your final result should be DVD, NTSC 720 x 480 or 720 x 576 PAL.

Use a sequence for the big screen SD and downrez setting your HDV or let the machine do it for you by capturing the SD format. If you captured HDV, you can either downrez using Motion/scale to mount your SD resolution or use the scale for framework. The latter has a small disadvantage because it will result in small black bars on the left and right, that normally show up when played on a TV.

  • anyone can solve my problems?

Hi, sorry if this is repeated somewhere

I'm quite new to indesign 5 (increased from quark) and I find those really annoying little problems, wondering if someone else has them and how to fix them, maybe a pref miss me:

1 sometimes that my tools go back to the previous example I used. If I Zoom by using the keyboard shortcut, then go to the selection tool, I get a helping hand!

2 not as boring but sometimes if I drag the document window to make it larger or smaller its erratic, resizes itself!

Its a new copy of cs5 premium and I'm on a new mac pro

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Sarah

macinbytes, I love the scalability of all secondary windows in CS4. Any other program Mac OS is worth a darn could take a cue from her.

Example: what happens if a window is exactly where I want to on the top, right and bottom, but I need/want more screen space taken left... in other programs, I reposition the entire window and then try to drag the bottom right to find the 'sweet spot' for the other three sides. PITA in my opinion, when one side is change of position... ^_^

@ sarrob, the suspension of tools ONLY occurs when you use specific keys to temporarily call features, such as zoom. To manually switch to the Zoom tool, use the Z hotkey (as long as you're not inside a text image/text box). This will change the Zoom tool instead to temporarily activate the zoom tool (command-space) or the hand (Option-space) tool, which works independently within a block of text.

The feature which is currently a distraction for you can end up being a time saver because you don't need to constantly back and forth to the Toolbox in order to enter a different tool first, zoom into and out of a region, then back to catch an editing tool.

Roll your mouse over the different tools in the box tool to see their shortcuts.

    BTW: I'm using CS4 on a Mac (OSX 10.6) and a Windows machine (Vista x 64)

  • See Audio Recorder Zoom on a first calendar markers

I'm recording interviews and would like to be able to find the points where I ask the specific questions by setting a cue point to my digital audio recorder (Zoom H4n) rather than scrubbing through the raw video to find the beginning of the question.

I have a WAV file with markers on it since the Zoom, but when I import into first, I do not see the marks displayed on the calendar.

Is there a way to display markers of audio track in the timeline of the sequence?

    Thank you!

    -Mike

Yes, you will need to rub, exposing perhaps the Audio waveform in the track can help you identify gaps between questions.

If you can always replay the clip on your zoom then can jump you on the marks and note the timecode from the beginning of the clip.  Could help the manual localization process.

  • Adjust the size of the frame of the focus when you use Pan and zoom tool in first 14?

I'm learning to use the pan & zoom tool through Adobe's Classroom in a Book for first elements 11.  The book is excellent, but as his writings for a generation of software of creation that is 3 years old, I'm trying to tackle a smaller image section that lets you control the default structure more small bowl size. (using the angle of the image update)

Is it possible to adjust the image to a size smaller than the smallest default size allowed?  Thanks for your help!

    provlima

I am not 14 as being different from 11 regarding the resizing of the workspace Pan and Zoom focus frame (by clicking on - or +). And I have not found a way to adapt a framework of development less than its smaller default size allowed using the-. or otherwise.

  • First elements vs Pro for Pan and Zoom Photo Slide Shows

I'm a professional architectural photographer. I need to create videos using a series of photos, and I need the ability to pan and zoom to specific parts of each photo.  I need to be able to tell the software where to pan and to and where to zoom in or out.  For example, I could start on the left side of a picture, pan to the left side of the photo, then stop panning and zooming.  I need to control the speed of the pan and zoom and control where they occur within each photo.  I won't be dealing with video, only still photos.

I saw a video showing this capability in Premier Pro.  It can also be done in first elements?

    rvomund

If please check out Adobe document on this panoramic and Zoom Tool and workspace function

There is a difference using this tool for video from still images. And, since you mention that you use some photos, I

not entered in the pan and zoom applied to the video with this tool.

Please review and consider. If any questions or need any clarification, do not hesitate to ask.

  • How do I Zoom in on a dynamically linked sequence of images first?

I did a sequence of still images in first, for an animation in stop motion that I'm working on. I shot the images at high resolution so that I would have a lot of pixels to work with when it came time for the zoom and pan, etc., without loss of image quality. I want to start the sequence totally a zoom out and zoom in on a particular area. When I presented the first sequence, I changed the scale of each image to 37.3%, so that the entire image appears.

    Pr 1.png

I can't zoom in on the image in the first sequence, because the zoom key frame will not be postponed several images. So I dragged the sequence in After Effects (thus creating a dynamic link), where I planned to do all my zoom and panning effects. However, in After Effects the scale suddenly is more 37.3%, but 100%, which means that if I Zoom in on a particular area, I get that grain, as if I had to by zooming in on an image low resolution.

    AE 1.png

To try to work around this problem, I returned to first and put all images to 100% wide, cut a large part of the image outside of the display area. First, I was at least still able to return to the position of one side to the other and see the parts of the image that were cut. However, when I go back to After Effects and try to return to the position of one side to the other, or the scale of the image, the sides are cut. The file of the image itself has been preserved not, apparently. I can only see what was in the first display area.

    Screen Shot 2014-01-21 at 8.23.41 PM.png

So this is my problem with zoom / pan through a sequence of animation image in first / After Effects. Help, please!

You do this by creating the sequence in Premiere Pro, to the same size as your image, which allows for the report to the screen, of course. I guess that you don't shoot 16:9 images, but you might have.

If you nest this long sequence in a sequence of normal size, like 1920 X 1080 or 1280 X 720, then you will have to scale down to fit. From there you can scale this back to 100% without any loss.
