  • Printing and ink problem

Hello. I have a HP LaserJet CM1312MFP series (which has included c.t.). It is connected to a Windows XP computer. However, since it is a network printer, anyone on the network can access it. The printer is had problems for some time now, and he treats the ink does not spread outside in the front tray, as well as other printing problems. Whenever I want to print, the first page it prints is a page of nonsense with alternating black and white lines parallel. After the first pages of one or two, it stops - and can return to normal after that. The ink was spread outside, on the front and the back, while change us the black and white cartridge when he asked us to. We hardly if ever printed in color, but for a long time, the cartridge color reversed into the machine, and if you want to open it, you can see the ink in the printer.

We were unable to solve this problem on our own, we decided to check out the forum for solutions.

    Hello Sharon,

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

I would be grateful if you could answer the following questions:

How the computers are connected? If they are connected as a workgroup or domain?

Method 1: Disable the security software and check if the printer works.

If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Method 2: You can turn off the Windows Firewall and see if you can print.

    1. Press the Windows key +X key.
    2. Select Control Panel.
    3. Click on the firewallof Windows .
    4. Select enable the Windows Firewall On or off on the right next to the sign.
    5. Select the radio buttons Turn off firewall under Private and Public network settings

  • VM Acrobat printing and printer... problems?

I've been printing without any problem of my VM but it has just stopped working. I have Acrobat Pro and HP Photosmart D7260 installed on my host machine and connected via NAT to my VM Windows XP Pro. When I print, I get text "garbage." I looked around and I noticed that it seems to be a recurring problem. I followed each thread and a blog that I could find. I still have no luck, so I post here. I'm almost possitive is an errors of communication between computers and printers. Is there something I can do? I would be happy if I only get Acrobat to work. I am very experienced with Windows and very good with OSX10.5. Little or no hand-holding.

If you know what I've done: I have repeateadly rebooted the virtual computer. the VM and the host; the Modem, router, machines and HP printer. Always the same. I went to bridged and installed the printer with Hello. I had the same type of orders very.

    My configuration:

Fusion 2.0.1 - with VMware Tools

    Mac Pro OS X10.5

    Windows XP Pro

Adobe Acrobat Pro 8 on my Mac

HP Photosmart D7260 USB to an Airport Extreme connection

    NAT network

No printer driver installed in the Windows XP VM

    Thank you guys so much!

    Removed double wire.

I'm not clear on how the client connects to the printer. You mention that no drivers are installed in the guest - are you using Fusion impression passthrough (e.g. under the VM settings, printers is enabled) or another method?

Have you tried to reinstall Fusion (this will not affect your virtual machines) and then restart the host?

  • Web site fidelity problem - when filling out forms for 5 tables of column, the left margin print with a left margin of 3 inches, thus losing the 3 columns on the right of the printed table. d instead prtints with 3 inch r

The url of the problem page is shown below. When the 4 additional columns will have been completed and sent to the printer, the left margin is 3 ", which does not show the 2 right hand colums in portrait mode.
Before installing latest versions 5 and 6 of Firefos all columns have been printed.

In my first attempt (Firefox 6), he did cut the 2 right columns, so I followed the advice of the-edmeister and changed to landscape. Then I reset my portrait layout and with "Shrink to the width of the page" checked, all 5 columns show in portrait view.

  • OfficeJet 7612: Margins printer Officejet 7612

I have purposely left for info OS 'unknown', because I have this same question if I use my Mac, my Windows machines, or simply walk over to the machine and copy something.

The minimum margins announced for this printer are something like 1/8 "without going without borders.  No matter what I print, I get approximately 5/8 "high and low and 1/2" on the sides.  I have this same problem when copying, that is simply built into the machine - no computer involved.  If I try to copy both side on a single sheet of double-sided sheets, it crops out of the margins to adapt to these ridiculously high default settings.

I searched through the forums and found many others have this problem.  The son always look like this:

Q: I have a problem with my margins.

A: go to the tab 'Advanced' in the printer driver, then select "Minimize margins".

Q: How do I do that?  I can't find this option anywhere...

    A:

Q: Hello?  I still need an answer...

    A:

Does anyone actually have a solution to this?  Or is HP just to admit that their big, fancy, expensive printer large format is just a big pile of uselessness of big margin?

    UPDATE:

To try to solve this problem, HP went up to sell me a replacement printer reduced at a reduced price, even if mine was out of warranty. Their thinking was that I had a defective hardware. Unfortunately, new printer = identical questions.

In the end, they admitted that margin problems are directly related to the duplex unit. Their duplexer requires, apparently, a LOT of paper to hang on to MUCH - in my opinion, possibly a lot and a half. I studied other brands and found that most of them have this same problem.

    Most of them...

I finally found that printer large format of brother did a duplexer that keeps the small margin when you work 2 faces. So, I own one of these now - works great.

I have been a fervent and loyal HP - ite for literally decades. It saddens me that they let slip until the brother surpassed them - but that's what I found. I hope that HP will turn around and stop to accept half-solutions such as 'negotiable' - but in the meantime, the only way to solve my problem was to jump brands...

  • E-all-in-one printer HP Deskject 3520: Print Double side problem

When I printed double sides with the printer 3520, for some reason, he created margins huge on my paper as well as did the smaller font. I saw a forum about this problem, but it has not really helped. So is there a driver or something I can download to fix this problem?  I have a Windows Vista Business - 32-bit!

I don't want to sound sceptical, but you can see again? I have the same version of Vista installed on a computer here, and the button is there on the Advanced tab. The button, but just in gray? If this is the case, you can not be saved as an administrator.

  • Incorrect margin print

I tried to print business cards.  No matter what I try printer is the addition of a Photosmart HP 6520. 5 "to all margins, I put in the document.  I does not matter if I try to use a template in Word or add it from the online site Avery or whatever if I use plain paper or paper of the card.  How can I get the printer to read only the margins that I put in the document?

Looks like you have a problem with getting these cards printed borderless. Check this page first to make sure that you follow the instructions on the activation of printing without margins on your device:

  • CP1525NW 2 sides print alignment Page problems

    Hi all.

    I recently "upgraded" color laserjet CP1215, in a CP1525NW.

Many images color 2 faces (dvd booklet) removable, to print on 32lb Hammermill Color Laser glossy (using the Type of paper for HP Glossy presentation).

Aside from the occasional minor skew, the old CP1215 was enough spot - one when he came 2-sided printing.

    The new CP1525NW... isn't.

Now, the book images are technically landscape, but because the printer feeds the paper in a portrait orientation, I will be describing the portrait SEO problem.

When printing images, they are set to be centered on the page.

However, when it actually prints, the margin (the first edge coming out of the printer) superior of the printed side is clearly superior to the bottom margin.  So the images on each side do not align correctly... pretty much a difference 0.25 "or so.  Left and right margins seem perfect, give-or-take the usual teensy bit of obliquity.

I printed more than enough to know that this alignment is 100% compatible, even on different types of paper and different software.

It seems to me that he is clearly a hardware or driver problem.

Possible workaround I tried turning one of my images before printing, so that I must return the orientation of page around before recharge of the sheet.  This actually fixes the alignment of up/down (and also just confirmed the consistency of the problem)... BUT... It also showed that the left/right alignment was not as centered as it appeared.  The difference does not seem to be * very * bigger than up and down, but is pretty close to the same thing.

I tried to dig through the properties of the printer, the Toolbox... and I can't find anything that will allow me to adjust the alignment page...

I was pleased with the quality of overall impression on this model, but if can't solve this alignment problem fairly quickly, this thing will eventually be returned to anything else.

    EDIT:

Failed to include any other info on my system.

This forum works on Windows XP SP3.

The main source of print is Adobe Acrobat, but the problem occurs with everything I print since.

After having worked with chat support technicians online this weekend thanks to this, I got an email today, which suggests that the use of the print driver PCL more-up-to-date, rather than specific to the model 1 + years driver universal, should solve the problem of alignment.

Unfortunately, although I strongly suspect that this can indeed solve this problem, I was unable to confirm this.

My specific situation really need a more immediate solution - as well as the availability of a decent policy hassle [back - I've already turned the printer on the place of purchase and exchanged for a product not HP that could meet the current needs.]

That being said, I am still very fond of HP products, and I was very pleased with the overall quality of this specific printer, without the duplex alignment problem.

I have no doubt that this printer will cross my path again in the near future.

  • Printing-Officejet 6500 problem

When I print from the bed flat - no problem.

When I print from the charger, two parallel lines of black ink, pass along paper, 13/16 "and 1" 1/4 of the right margin appear.

In previous models of HP printer, when I encountered this problem, I was able to fix it by cleaning a glass surface with alcohol. I don't see a corresponding surface on this model.

    All solutions?

    Hello

You can find the exact area to clean glass driver, read the section titled step 3: clean the glass Strip in the ADF in the document below:
