Mask compensates?

Hello

the videocopilot sword plugin, you can select a text layer and it will make an outline of the mask of the text and put the effect sword on it. Then using the "late shift" and "offset start" in the plugin, you can make the end or beginning of the shorter line. as short as possible until there is more nothing. This way you can easily make mobile lines the long text, and other things. I was wondering if I could use this offset thing on regular masks as well? If completely outside the sword, nothing to do with the sword, simply create a mask and control the shift? Any way to do it? Thank you very much in advance.

Quinten

No, but you can use form facilitators if you convert your mask to a form.

  • Masking of buttons during printing and setting of field to compensate for

    Hello

I had a request for a form in which add a line button and the button Delete row are hidden when printing to make it a bit prettier.  I was able to hide the buttons for printing, but the table that belongs to delete still looks weird and there is more space I would like to have between the tables once the box add a line does not appear.  Is there a way to make things prettier?  I have attached the demo of the shape, that I'm working on a sample of what it looks like right now when I print.

I saw a post on the borders of text field masking during printing and it seemed that I might need to do something similar, but I'm not sure what.

    Thank you!

The color of the cell to white should work, because you are repeating an instance of the row that the white background must reproduce as well.

    You can also script with: fieldName.border.fill.color.value = "255,255,255";

  • Need to create and adjustment layer to compensate for the unwanted hue caused by lens

I'm looking for help to set up an adjustment layer to compensate for a specific lens coloring problem. Basically, I use a GoPro (on a drone) but I got a flat lens of spare parts. The sharpness is good, but the lens has a well-known problem: it translates into a pink coloring around the edges/corners. Most of the time it is barely perceptible, sometimes he jumps. It also depends on the screen, that I use for example. My TV seems to bring out a lot more than my laptop.

    Here's an example - look at around 0:35 0:40 http://vimeo.com/117790732

And to try to get an idea where the question is on the frame, I took a picture of the example of the grass Frost, very early in the morning. I then crank up the saturation to 100% and this is what it looks like:

    Frosty Grass for Adj Layer.jpg

I would like to be able to compensate for this. This should probably do with an adjustment in Photoshop layer that I can then import in Premier Pro. Can anyone advise as to how to do?

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Thank you

Since any change in RGB channels influence the tonal scale, perhaps to the laboratory, with m/g-b/y juxtaposition and distinct tone level would be a logical choice. Here, a few sweeping curves (and a rough mask, sorry about that) need to be addressed.

The adjustment layer that results can be changed in the opacity according to the saturation of the chromatic aberration.

EDIT: Posted quickly. End of shadow of channel tweak L. red dot needs a white dot in the mask to eliminate].

  • Problems with adjustment layer masks

I have serious problems with adjustment layer masks. I have converted a photo black and white usiing one adjustment layer and trying to return to colored eyes. My form tool is selected, the color black is my first plan and target my layer mask. Coloring on the contour of the eyes a brownish/sepia-like color is revealed instead of blue (the color of the eyes). When I on the skin a reddish colour. In this case on THREE platforms... PSE6 CS3 AND CS5.5.

I have reset my tools. Close the program. Uninstalled and reinstalled twice (PSE6 and CS3). And you have installed a trial version and reset preferences in CS5.5 (just to see if I could overcome my problem). I also reset the default preferences in CS5.5.

Recently, I uninstalled a trial version of PSE10 (a week ago give or take and I think that I have chosen to remove preferences... do not know well).

    OS: Vista

    Browser: Chrome

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Katherine

Yes, I figured that the surrounding grayish area would give the impression that the color of the skin is too orange/high heat, and without external tone, the eye color looks different.

Katherine, take a piece of paper, make a big hole like brush strokes and place it on the corrected image. This is not the colors are the same as on the image corrected, now? (Well, there should be a gray piece of paper to get exactly the same result)

It's an optical illusion, like this: http://capslove.wordpress.com/2009/11/20/optical-illusion/ where the eyes of the same color green or cyan according to its surrounding areas. Your mind compensates for the colors and the tricks you into believing that they are different in picture one / two, skin color lighter and less saturated than in your second picture image.

Knowing this, you can use another adjustment layer, to drive the color where you want (to the soft blue brighter, more saturated) or skin made down the color that appears too bright.

If the other members of the forum are not paid in graphic design and the influence of surrounding the optical tricks colors/classic, it doesn't surprise me that they are consistent with the description you give, especially if you do ask them 'the skin looks too orange.

This is why it is recommended to have a photo studio (or the room in what you use Photoshop) with gray walls, why Photoshop interface is neutral blue-grey and not bright pink, etc.

(If you work on a Pc, select a black theme without transparency for Vista/7, or on a mac, select the choice of interface of graphite, as it could also mislead you.)

Some use a grey full desktop picture.

    Thanks for the props, guys!

  • Scale mask helps

I'm new on aftermath so it's probably easy, but I can't understand it.

I'm trying to animate the path which is to set the mask while keeping the exhibit under the same size (so with the time just expose more in addition to the object under). Here's a simple illustration of what I'm talking about. So it would seem that if you fly in the star, then through the star to the scene behind.   This seems very simple, but I can't understand it.

The only option animateable I can find what makes something similar is the expansion "mask", but that distorts the shape of the path as it becomes increasingly wide (the star in this case would not stay a star, she develops into a circle).  Also if I transform the 'ladder', then he will scale the entire layer, not the mask path.

So, any help would be appreciated.

Also if there is an effect that can be added to add depth the the object hidden it would be great to know as well. (So, in this case, a way to add the thickness of the gray. This thickness would be noticed that you've been through).  I am trying to create the sensation of flying in an object similar to fly through a window or corridor running to the scene behind. If you know a tutorial would be great.

    Thank you.

I see that Todd has responded and you related to a thread with options. Here are the ones I have had typed place before her answer (some of them are in the link he put, but not all).

Option 1: Make the layer gray a 3d layer and fly your After Effects camera through it. (to the depth you need to create multiple copies of the layer of gray and to compensate for a pixel or so in z space).

Option 2: Import your Illustrator article in AE and use as a track matte for a coat grey

Option 3: Click to select your mask, press ctrl + t (Cmd + t on a Mac) and you can scale to the top of your mask (you want to set a keyframe for the mask shape, small size then go ahead and make the transformation of mask).

  • The mask purple of the private browsing mode, where is it?

    Hello!
I installed Firefox 42.0 on my PC running Windows 7 SP1 32 bit and it is stable. But the purple mask, the novelty of the private browsing mode, does not work in the following scenarios. I don't see the purple mask on top of windows.

1 right-click on the "Mozilla Firefox" shortcut, and then select Properties. Add ""-private "at the end of the area target;" \Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"- private.

2 tools > Options > privacy > history, click on the box "always use the private browsing mode.

    Do you have any advice?

    Best regards
    BluePencil

You will see the purple mask if Firefox is in normal mode and you open a new private window.
If you are in permanent private browsing mode, so there is no need to display the icon and it is deleted.

You can use an extension for private browsing mode support tab.

  • Lock the position of the mask in FCPX?

I have an image I want to move from right to left (I'm trying to simulate someone hit to swipe an image on their phone). But I need to be masked so that when the image is moved, it is not just move from one place to the screen to the other (it must be enclosed in a mask). When I apply a mask in FCPX the mask moves with the image. I have to be able to stop it. Is it possible to do? It seems like the simplest thing in the world, but I don't see how it can be done. And Yes, I tried keyframing the mask but because his move with the image, it is dragged in every sense. If the movement is necessary so how would I do it in motion?

    Thank you

    You don't need a movement.

Create the animated clip of right to the Center - stop - center to the left. Create a clip consisting of it and add the mask to the compound clip.

  • How can I use A clip to create a mask for clip B?

Hello. I am having trouble with my project.

I have a video with subtitles and subtitle down background. The subtitle is at 50% opacity, you can therefore still a bit see through it. I want to make it look slick and apply the blur of the main home, but only the part that is covered by the bottom of subtitle. I can't draw the mask manually, because real captions and background are animated, so if I had to draw the mask manually I have to go frame by frame, which would take me literally days.

I hope I did my clear explanation. If this isn't the case, basically, I need to clip one area allows you to create an area of masking to another clip. The clip is also animated, so the mask must adapt accordingly. I tried to find a solution for hours without success.

    Thank you in advance.

It is not very clear to me, but you seem to be saying that the subtitle background is animated, somehow? Is this true?

Its size will vary depending on the actual size of the subtitles, isn't it?

And you want the area of the main element which, at one point throws behind this background to subtitle the blur?

  • Apple Motion freezes when creating new Bézier points on masks

    Hi people,

Having a problem with the movement 5.2.3.

When you use the Bézier tool while creating masks, about 7/10 times it crashes without saving changes when you create a new point.

Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution?

    Thank you

I do not see a problem. How many points you use in your mask? You do a right click on the line and selecting Add a Point or by double-clicking on the line when it crashes? You start with a Bezier or B-Spline form?

  • How do I install app blur or mask me app?

I want to be able to mask my email address, so when I have to give an it would be a valid temporary e-mail address but that will forward my messages to my real email address and I usually have to give my real email address... If that makes sense

Not these applications in particular, but you can check to see what kind of add ons are available. "Less Spam, please" is an add on that sounds that he has a similar function.

  • You here with the 'MASK' to "Private Browser"?

Have noticed that the private Bowsing mask is not in the bar more title. The only indication that we are in the "PB" service is the opening of FireFox?

You won't see this mask or the text of navigation mode if you're in private browsing mode permanently.

    • Tools > Options > privacy > Firefox will be: "Use the custom settings for history": "always use the private browsing mode.

You bring up the title bar via the "Title bar" button at the bottom left in the palette to customize window

    • Firefox '3-bar' menu button > customize
  • How can I know if private browsing works? The purple mask does not appear when I click on the mask icon. In my privacy settings "never remember" is selected.

I'm trying to confirm private browsing works. At the moment, I have no way of knowing whether or not it is enabled. The purple mask, referred to in the help does not appear when selected. I should say in my privacy settings, I have never chosen "remember", for the story.

Hi willpublx, when you have selected never "remember history" in the privacy options so you are actually in 'permanent private browsing mode' and that there will be an extra mask icon to indicate that.
