  You can dynamically create a shape, draw on it using the graphics object and use it as a mask:

  var masker: Shape = new Shape();

  masker.graphics.beginFill (0);

  masker.graphics.drawRect (0,0,100,100);

  masker.graphics.endFill ();

  addChild (masker);

  mySprite.mask = masker;

  or you can use the scrollRect property, using a rectangle

  mySprite.scrollRect = new Rectangle (0,0,100,100);

  This seems an unusual problem.
  I put the volume of force I want. If there is the slightest movement of my laptop, the cursor will just downwards or upwards, in itself.

  Been to my engineer who wiped everything and then reinstalled but no avail.
  He said there seems to be an error on the motherboard, but it is a long and costly repair job.

  Computer laptop is only 18 months old, so I expect better of Toshiba.
  Has anyone else had a problem like this, and if so, it is resolved, please?

  I had a same or similar problem with my laptop U400. The volume bar jumped up and down to try to increase the volume. I read in some discussions that the volume control is digital and could it happen due to dust or debris between the sensors.

  I clean it using a jet of compressed air.
  I don't know if this could help you too, but in my case it helped to solve this annoying problem m

• Menu contextual tab control Runtime does not work?

  Hi all

  I create a façade user interface that incorporates a control tab (standard control LV 8.6).

  I noticed that the Run-Time context menu (the one you get when you right-click with the mouse) is displayed only if you select one of the tabs or the thin border around the outside, but not anywhere in the tab pane itself? I guess that these context menus are associated with controls only, so when you choose the pane inside the tab control, it does not record the click of the mouse as belonging to the tab control, but the shutter it instead?

  I want to customize this menu and really need to be displayed when the user clicks an area empty screen, which will be the my tab control pane

  Any ideas anyone?

  Thanks for the vi - It's great to see how to work the other coders workarounds!

  I had been playing with a similar idea since posting my question. I had discovered that paste a single image in the tab pane that filled the tab pane area shows the new behavior similar to what I need. The pasted image provides a context menu that matches that of the tab control. As long as the color of the picture is the same as the tab control, it is effectively invisible to the user.

  P.S. Just to be clear, I don't mean an image control. Just a picture pasted from the Clipboard.

  I have attached the vi for reference, maybe (anyone of NOR?) would like to make comments on this weird behavior of LabVIEW?

  Using my PC all-in-one HP Officejet 5610 and download successfully. I can't use my OCR, or change with text by using the viewer of documents HP more.

  It worked fine until a few weeks ago.  Now when I select a single document for editing, I get this message.

  ActiveX controls only accept fonts that are defined in GrapicsUnits.Point.  Name of the parameter; Police

  My solution is to save everything in a .pdf file, so I can work with the MDC. If saved as a .tif program will not send or print or fax, etc.  I hope this helps, but it would be nice if they fixed!

• apex 5.0 applications can run on a system of runtime only apex 4.2?

  We are starting a conversion from apex 4.2.5 apex 5.0.  our environment is as follows:

  • a development system, where programmers make their application development.  It is the installation of apex only full that we have.
  • a control system which is running only, where our QA testers do their thing.
  • a production system, which is running only.

  trying to figure out the sequence to follow to upgrade which of these systems...

  If we improve our system of development first, we would have to institute a freeze on deployment while we test regression and others.  and there was no means of production of patch in an application bug, unless we can export/import a 5.0 app on a length of 4.2.

  I think it's maybe a better approach for:

  1. set up a parallel development system that runs on 5.0 so developers can make regression tests and such to see if they have to make changes to work on 5.0.
  2. Let developers use the development 4.2 existing and the test platform for the manufacture of production emergency fixes (knowing they will have to make the same change in the system 5.0 as well)
  3. Let new developments and improvements to be deployed production post - 5.0 5.0 system.
  4. If all applications must change in conjunction with 5.0, they will be exported and waiting for production deployment.
  5. convert production to 5.0 and import some apps 5.0 - changed must deploy.
  6. 5.0 system development would become the development environment "fix production" temporarily.
  7. then convert the original system of development and execution of test only to 5.0 and 5.0 development import/export system applications and losing the 5.0 system development.

  thoughts?  is there an easier way to do this?

  Our design for a new version of the APEX aims to be as much as possible backward compatible. That's why I suggest a different approach. For example, the Oracle hosting internal environment that contains thousands of workspaces has been upgraded to 5.0 with the following approach.

  1. Cloned Production and created a system UAT (test) and upgraded to 5.0
  2. Verified users/testers that applications are still functional in 5.0
  3. In case of problem, developers fixed the problem on the 4.2 development and deployment instance updating applications to the UAT 5.0 system to continue his tests.
  4. These changes to the app has also deployed on the production (after testing) system
  5. Following the tests, production had started with APEX 5.0

  I believe that any bug found in the 5.0 environment could be solved in the 4.2 version of the app, because it is normally a problem JavaScript or CSS or some use undocumented features. • Layer mask control action?

  I am tempted to write a PS CS5 Extended Action that creates an image in an adjustment on a clip layer. To shape the effect of the adjustment layer.

  It works manually, but I can't seem to remember in the building Action.

  Mac Pro. A lot of RAM. PS CS5 Extended. Chronology of open film.

  Using the Option / click on the layer mask of the adjustment layer from the nothing to honour that not in the Action statement list. It will not do not forget this step, so I can't get the Action to do what I can do laboriously by manual means.

  The controls on my A60 buttons no longer work. I tried to reinstall from CD, but I get a message saying that I have to uninstall and reinstall. I tried to uninstall via Add/Remove Programs, but appears not to have worked, the element of control still appears in the list even after a reboot. Does anyone know how to solve this problem.

• Masking controls programmatically

  I have two buttons to Abort that I want to use.  Here are the various tests that I have in a case statement.  These Abort buttons will stop at the loop condition and will stop the test.  I want to overlay these buttons to Abort on a common tab, so if the switch is thrown when a particular test, then it can hide this Abort button.  Is this possible.  It can be done in Labwindows, but I can't see from LabVIEW.

  You will need to use a remote control to set a radio station in the receiver STR-K790 system.

  Is the universal remote you are talking about is branded Sony? If you use a universal remote control from Sony, the control code for Sony receiver is 01 or 001. However, we are unable to provide support for remote controls designed by other manufacturers. Manufacturers may set different code numbers in their universal remote controls to identify the infrared (IR) signal of a Sony product. Thus, the code number used to operate a Sony product in one remote can be different from the one used by another.

  When I go to the control panel and click AddRemove programs, a new window opens, as usual.  A message askking wait me while the list is filled, as usual.  It's nothing happens after that.  When I try to close the window by clicking the X in the upper right corner, I get a message that the program is not responding.  It spent repestedly and restart does not help.

  As the subject says, a simple question I could not just handle set % in width and height, so I think that the inline masking is not a parent. That's why with resizable layouts I link the mask property = "{", another group of the layout. I'm doing this right?

• The volume control works only when configuring integration HotKey is on...

  I'm not VERY good at the computer...

  But, my volume keys worked very well until I had to reboot my computer. After that, it stopped working. I tried to install integration HotKey. The sound would work when the screen is in place. When you exit the installation screen of and that I restart my computer, it doesn't work anymore. I also tried updating my audio drivers, but it does not help.
