Match connector P1, P2 on 1042 backplane connectors

Hello

I'm looking for the connector P1 or P2 connectors match 1042 bottom of basket. (3U)

(I want to out power of 12V for my test unit - given the limits of power supply)

Does anyone know the P/N of this manufactor?

Thank you...

You can use an Erni Type A J1 connector (for example, 354142) to match P1 ('J' is on the side of the socket that corresponds to male connectors 'P', then "J1" corresponds to "P1", "J2" mate with "P2").

My laptop HP Dv6910us has developed a problem with the connection of the power cord into the computer.  Central Post Office of the computer seems to be sure.  Problem is that when the power is connected, you must screw the connector, crossed their fingers and maybe blue light to indicate the power of the computer turns on.  We tried another power supply not HP and it worked for a few months, and then the same problem occurred.

Is it possible to replace or repair the HP power connector that goes into the laptop?

    Hello

External review of the power jack on the laptop wouldn't tell you thing.

A multimeter connector on the external adapter test will be.

So if there is output voltage of son but not the connector of the AC adapter it should be able to go to an electronics parts place, and get a replacement.

If this are the results of his test, why not just ask him if he can take the power adapter to the store, find a matching connector and replace. ?

  • Actor framework automatic to produce actor

    Hello

I'm starting to use the framework of the actor for a large application. I wonder if there is a way to auto generate a new actor?

I understand that I can auto generate messages for an actor using the tools-> actor framework Message Maker...

I am an actor by a new class of Labview to say:

    Test Actor.lvclass

Then set the legacy of this class of Actor.lvclass

    Do the Core.vi actor method

    A method of writing waveform

Set the scope of the core player protected and other methods public (as the example Simple actor) and check the kernel reentrant actor

I do the structure EXACTLY like in the example Simple player, but I get the following errors in my new Core.vi of actor:

"Does not match this VI other screws in the method, terminal connector component (to the) are different." All the screws that implement a method of a class of LabVIEW must match Connector components. To fix this, compare connector pane of this VI and VI of an ancestor class that implements this method. »

    and

"The owner of VI is not a dynamic member of a class of LabVIEW VI. The calling method Parent node must use a dynamic member of a class of LabVIEW VI. »

I tried to read in this post, but it seems that my part of connector is the name. I'm not sure of what continues.

    (1) can someone show me what I'm doing wrong here?

    (2) is there a way to auto generate the actor?

Whenever I try to build a player from scratch, I get the above errors. I have attached my project (LV2012).

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

Create a "model project" (search the forums for this)

Try the latest SCM (GOOP Developer Suite - free for small projects)

You did not indicate the entry point 'Dynamic Dispatch' Actor.lvclass of Test.

You don't need to make the Core.vi player from scratch. After you create the class, then its parent as actor, right-click on your class and create VI for the substitution.

  • Classes: Component child connector does not match

    Hello

I use LabVIEW classes in one of my projects and I sometimes run into this:

When I create a vi child by creating a vi the appropriate name for the class of the child rather than use the built in 'create vi to replace' connector of the child component is reported as part of the parent is not - even if it seems to me that it does not.

Note I do only because I want to keep the FP of this child specific vi.

This makes me think that I don't really understand what needs to be exactly the same.

Sending dynamic input/output are of the class that the vi belongs to. Which shouldn't be a problem though, huh?

All other entries are appropriate types (simple stuff: cluster error, U8, I32, boolean, DBL).

They need to have the names and labels even?

They are in the right position too.

Connector components share the same model (standard 4x2x2x4).

Anything not listed here that I don't even know?

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Best regards

    Florian

The dynamic send screws must exactly match the component connector - dynamic distribution of input/output terminal, data types, as well as the State required or recommended/optional connection - maybe it's the last one you haven't checked? (search for "BOLD" / normal text in contextual aid of the screws).

I'm sure the names/labels do not matter.

  • Pin assignment connector D - SUB 15 pin on CompactDAQ chassis

    Hi all

I want to use a 9172 CompactDAQ with a Tablet for the measurement of flight with a glider plane, where several ADXL335 disk accelerations are recorded. They need a 5V supply, which should be available from the connector 15-pin D - SUB from the backplane NI 9172. Where can I find the pin assignment?

    Thanks in advance,

    Jan

    Hello Jan,

If you want to use the connector D - SUB of your cDAQ/cRIO, then you will find official information in the "CompactRIO Module Development Kit":

    NEITHER cRIO-9951 - National Instruments
    http://sine.NI.com/NIPs/CDs/view/p/lang/de/NID/14548

I found a few informal and information unconfirmed which I cite, and maybe already helps you:

[...] PIN 4 is 5V and 14 pins is GND. However, be aware that there is a danger accidentally
damage the bottom of basket in this approach, so we cannot guarantee this type of use.

If you just need to join the + 5V and gnd lines, a safer option is to use a module NI 9411
who uses a regulator by an external power supply to 5V on the front connector.

    Best regards

  • Sense of "component of this VI connector is not a part of the connector that is specified by the user."

That means the following message from VI Analyzer: "part of connector of this VI is not a part of the connector that is specified by the user."?

The VI it references has 4 connections: 2 in. and 2 outputs. He was selected from a template.

Everywhere where the VI that it references is used is relinked and properly connected.

    While it has been warned?

As it says, this is just a warning.

Many programmers standardize on a small selection of models of connector. VI Analyzer will tell you if a different connector pane is used. One of your screws apparently uses a connector part 2 x 2, which is not used very often. (Example (1) it must be changed if you need connectors later, (2) it does not match the gap-type-in and error-out lower terminals, (3) if it is mounted in series with subVIs most popular models, the son will have elbows and things not the line-up, etc..)

    Two choices:

    1. If you are really in love with the part of connector 2 x 2, add it to the configuration of the parser as a reason accepted.

    2. Stick to a more standardized connector component, even if not all the connectors are currently used.

  • Is it possible to replace occurrences of a global variable massively while also setting up the components of connector?

I work through some of my old code now, looking to increase the performance where I can. Here's my situation:

    1. I used Global Variables to spread a few constants in my screws, instead of a proper typedefed cluster.

    2. execution does not have an extension, but no matter when I save the project, I would say 50 to 60 percent of the economy/compling time is spent on the screw of 300 or more with global variables. I suspect it has to do with the link between the overhead associated with the global.

    3. Ideally, I would like to replace this:

    With something like this:

While also putting the connector of this pane:

    To do this:

What is the VI server is capable of? You can assume that the VI in question have very predictable names, matching the regular expression:

    subname[0-9]^3

Is it still worth it to replace?

I don't know what you mean by compile time.  One of my big projects LabVIEW RT, which has about a thousand of screws, a lot of VIGs (FGVs), engines of the Action, even a few Globals and variable shared.  In my case, the thing that seems to "slow down" the compilation the most is the links to the report generation tool (I use Excel workbooks for 'drive' of experience and also save the data a bit).  If I do a building together, to build this routine and about 6 'support' routines (data analysis, utility Configuration, etc.), it may take a minute, but I can't find this excessive nor a charge (compared to the facility to isolate/encapsulate features in screws as FGVs).  So I guess I don't understand the "real problem"...

  • Discover the part of a node connector

    Hello community,

a search on google has failed me so this is:

Is it possible to find the only ot what the part of a node connector looks like?

Nodes in LabVIEW are not screws and therefore cannot be opened to inspect the connector pane.

My intention is to create a sub vi to replace a certain node (in this case ' dialogue of a button'). I hope that if I could match the connector pane I might actually use the function replace on multiple instances of the node without having to fix the wiring manually.

    Any help would be appreciated.

First of all, I don't know what you want to achieve.

However, you can click with the right button on all nodes and select the visible items > terminals.

A second point is to activate Scripting (LV Options > VI Server) with the subsequent 'display VI Scripting of additional information in the context-sensitive Help window"to see the command script of the terminals of a node.

Maybe it's the information you need. If no, please describe the use cases in other words who are hopefully more understandable...

  • Connector disk HARD DM4-3550dx

    Greetings!

Me and my fiance, him, we bought a computer laptop dm4-3550dx couple of years ago and just recently his hard drive crashed. It comes at a time where the warranty has expired. We lost all of our photos and documents. We have already admit that all the data disappeared, so we are fine with that. Now we have another type of problem. I bought another hard drive, but I lost the hard drive connector. And now I am unable to connect the new hard drive to a laptop because of this connector. I tried my google fu and could only find something on ebay. Unfortnately dm4 connector from the hard drive I ordered does not match. Please help me she needs his laptop and I could not find any place where I could buy this specific hard drive connector model eart.

    You need this part:

  • Request to connect Bluetooth L2CAP to Connector.open (...)

I am relatively new to Java and Blackberry development in particular.

A L2CAP connection request is authorized. I pass on the following URL:

    URL = "btl2cap: / / ' + rmdv.getBluetoothAddress () +": "1007;

    to Connector.open (real url, Connector.READ_WRITE),

I finally get a good return.

Somewhere along the way, I also have a popup asking for a PIN for pairing. My understanding is that the matching is a top-level as the L2CAP layer function, so why would opening an L2CAP connection cause the popup PIN.

We create both sides of the connection and do not use a stack of existing server.

Any suggestions on how to do this would be greatly appreciated. More importantly, is it still possible?

    Sincerely,

    Anil S.

The BlackBerry supports the L2CAP connections when using JSR 82 on BlackBerry BlackBerry handheld software version 4.2.1 running and superior.

  • How encryption works in the web services connector?

Hi, I wanted to ask if someone could explain or point me to somewhere where its explained how encryption in Web Service connector (connector guide did not help) because I feel like there is a black box in the way that works part of the connector.

This is what is happening to me.

When I request an account the IOM sends to the SOA, a SOAP message with this field:

    user < __NAME__ > < / __NAME__ >

    Do0emq9XxVlYdbBxRUFSpciLqp77p6WYXQzATr8UysI = < __PASSWORD__ > < / __PASSWORD__ >

But SOA sends a SOAP like it even though im using the oimcp/WS_CONNECTOR_OUTBOUND to decrypt the way that the Webservices connector Guide tells me to do section 5.1

    the user < USER_ID > < / USER_ID >

    Do0emq9XxVlYdbBxRUFSpciLqp77p6WYXQzATr8UysI < PASSWORD > = < / PASSWORD >

    < PasswordConfirm > Do0emq9XxVlYdbBxRUFSpciLqp77p6WYXQzATr8UysI = < / passwordConfirm >

Somehow the DB records the real password not the hash, but if the size of the password in the DB field is smaller than the size of the hash I get a SQL error even if the

password real has the right length. And change the size of the field in the DB is not always an option.

Happents another odd thing, is that if I do not declare the passwordConfirm field in < property name = "password.field.xpath.locations" type = "xs: String" > / ns3:PASSWORD, / ns3:passwordConfirm < / property > even if the sending of SOAP by the SOA is always: "

    the user < USER_ID > < / USER_ID >

    Do0emq9XxVlYdbBxRUFSpciLqp77p6WYXQzATr8UysI < PASSWORD > = < / PASSWORD >

    < PasswordConfirm > Do0emq9XxVlYdbBxRUFSpciLqp77p6WYXQzATr8UysI = < / passwordConfirm >

I get the error that do not match the password and passwordConfirm.

And to make things even more bizarre if I wire the password, lets say, e-mail and declare this field as needed the decryption of the stored value is the hash. Even if the password is the normal password.

Also, is there a way for the SOA to send the password in plain text?

    Hello Leo,

If you have correctly configured oimcp/WS_CONNECTOR_OUTBOUND policy, there should not be any errors and it works without problem.  Unhappiness about using policy - is that the errors you will see when it does not work are not really useful to discover the cause of the problem.  In fact, the most useful tool I found the resolution of the problems with politics is WireShark.

I used the strategy in multi-instance test scenarios and also support for several customers who try to use the policy.  From my experience, I guess that decryption is being ignored due to an error in your code. If WireShark gives you not with sufficient detail to indicate where the error is, I would say a SR in support to solve the problem more openness.

    Hope that helps,

    Amy

  • Change connector Administration certificate

I installed OUD using a certification authority issued the certificate during the installation by using the option - useJavaKeystore and I see that the LDAPS connector is using this certificate.  However, the Administration connector always uses a self-signed certificate.  I would replace this certificate self-signed with the CA that issued the certificate.  I tried to find instructions, but all this I found this link (Management Administration traffic to the Server - Guide of Administration Oracle Fusion Middleware for Oracle unified Directo...) that had this little introductory text: "You can manage the certificate in administration connector using external tools, such as the keytool utility."

To dig a little, I think that I came up with the correct sequence/steps to get this working.  Basically, I deleted the admin-cert leave two keystore: / admin/config-truststore and/config/admin-keystore.  I then imported the key pair that I created for the initial installation.  I also changed the /config/admin-keystore.pin to match the PIN that I used when creating the key file.

It seems to work, but I would like to know if it's the correct method and if there would be side effects to replace the certificate used by the connector to the Administration.

The exact measurements that I follow are below:

    1. Generate the key and key pair:
      1. keytool - genkeypair - dname "CN = server-cert, dc = myorg" - alias server-cert - keyalg RSA - keypass "myKeyPass" - storepass "myKeyPass" - keystore mykeystore.jks
    2. Generate the certificate request
      1. keytool - certreq-alias server-cert - mykeystore.jks - file myCertRequest.csr-keystore
    3. Get x 509 server certificate authority certificate (server.crt) and root CA Cert public (rootca.crt)
    4. Import the CA certificate root in keystore
      1. keytool-import - trustcacerts-alias root - file rootca.crt - keystore mykeystore.jks - storepass "myKeyPass.
    5. Import CA issued certificate into the keystore
      1. keytool-import - trustcacerts-alias server-cert-file server.crt - keystore mykeystore.jks - storepass "myKeyPass" - keypass "myKeyPass.
    6. Change keys to OUD Admin default truststore password
      1. keytool - storepasswd - keystore $OUD_INSTANCE/config/admin-truststore - storepass ' content to admin - keystore.pin'-'myKeyPass' new
    7. Change password for keystore from the keystore default admin OUD
      1. keytool - storepasswd - keystore $OUD_INSTANCE/config/admin-keystore - storepass ' content to admin - keystore.pin'-'myKeyPass' new
    8. Modify the password in clear text to the new keystore password
      1. Vim /$OUD_INSTANCE/config/admin-keystore.pin # replace with the new key [myKeyPass]
    9. Import the CA certificate root in default admin truststore OUD
      1. keytool-import-trustcacerts-alias root - file rootca.crt - keystore $OUD_INSTANCE/config/admin-truststore - storepass "myKeyPass.
    10. Import the cert of the CA root key by default OUD admin file
      1. keytool-import-trustcacerts-alias root - file rootca.crt - keystore $OUD_INSTANCE/config/admin-keystore - storepass "myKeyPass.
    11. Remove admin-certificate self-signed default admin truststore OUD
      1. keytool - delete - alias admin-cert - keystore $OUD_INSTANCE/config/admin-truststore - storepass "myKeyPass.
    12. Remove admin-certificate self-signed default OUD admin keystore
      1. keytool - delete - alias admin-cert - keystore $OUD_INSTANCE/config/admin-keystore - storepass "myKeyPass.
    13. CA issued import keypairs in keystore default Admin OUD
      1. keytool - importkeystore - srckeystore mykeystore.jks - destkeystore $OUD_INSTANCE/config/admin-keystore - srcstorepass "myKeyPass' - deststorepass 'myKeyPass" srcalias - Server-cert - destalias admin-cert - srckeypass 'myKeyPass' - destkeypass 'myKeyPass.
    14. CA issued import keypairs in default truststore OUD
      1. keytool - importkeystore - srckeystore mykeystore.jks - destkeystore $OUD_INSTANCE/config/admin-truststore - srcstorepass "myKeyPass' - deststorepass 'myKeyPass" srcalias - Server-cert - destalias admin-cert - srckeypass 'myKeyPass' - destkeypass 'myKeyPass.

    Hello

    This procedure is correct.

Expect administrative tools using admin port (for example dsreplication) invite you to trust the cert (new) server.

Note: This administrative action will be facilitated in a later version of OUD... Stay tuned.

I suggest that you try the Deployment Manager to import the XML file and see if you find errors.  I also highly recommend the deletion of objects group of ads, AD management and AD trusted from your xml workflow file and stick with only the object, you must use.  Also, I saw a common error on the initial Setup, where the rule of reconciliation is looking to match the objectguid of the object user value, but the domain does not exist which causes the recon profile to fail.
